Great friendly staff the guy and ladies who work there are always polite and pleasant, the salads are great and big portions aswell just the thing for a hungry worker in the summer. The hot food is equaly good, I or none of my work mates have ever been ill or suffered death as a result of the food as suggested by one review ! Food here is good quality at low prices because people come back for good honest food at low prices not £5.00 for saucer of coffee in costa or starbucks !

I have liked coming here and I have always loved eating the cheese burger sandwich and I always be served in a kind way by the kind old lady however today the daughter served me and she was extremely rude and unprofessional. It was very cheap from her side as obviously I’m not from this country so she was very racist. Never coming back here again

Consistently Outstanding - I bring an adult with learning disabilities past this shop and without fail he wants to go in and choose a treat. The staff are superb with him, talking to him despite his inability to talk back. Not many people go to the trouble. Caring, friendly and a real scouse welcome. See you soon. Andy & George

Used to go here with my mum as a kid nearly every day on a walk through to town. Love the food and the staff where always so kind. They all knew me very well. Still go here sometimes but don't remember me anymore I think they might have new staff. Food is still really nice tho. Always wanted to work here as a child …

This is a very cheap restaurant. If you want to eat a lot of swill, come here. My favorite is the chip barm. It only costs 5 pounds and you can eat it until your stomach bursts.

Had my final visit today before I leave Liverpool after 5 years of being a student :( Been here hundreds of times. If your a new student go here for your lunch over getting a boring meal deal. Wish all the staff the best in the future

They do a decent range of comfort food such as pies/pasties, then also occasionally have other one off dishes on. All extremely good prices. I enjoy an almost daily flapjack from here as well. Nice family business on the whole.

No gloves....touched with bare hands and when I asked them to change food as I don't want it as old lady touched it...she lied on my face that she didn't touch it.....and as I was going out of shop she called me BA***D .....

Poor quality food which is reflected in the low price. I'd rather pay more and get hot food instead of the barely warm bacon. Not a very good impression and I certainly wouldn't recommend here.

Bought fish and chips. The fish was underdone and gave me absolutely awful food poisoning (almost went to hospital). It was the most ill I've been in my entire life. DO NOT COME HERE
