Nice rooms, a little bit to small if you have 2 luggages but it’s alright, very nice motel for the price, rooms are clean and tidy, there’s outlets next to the bed, you also have plates, mugs, microwave, TV, free WIFI, big desk… The walls are just not very well insulated so you can easily hear outside or the bedroom above. I recommend this place if you have a low budget and want to have a good place to sleep

Fairly priced accommodation. Room & beds were quite comfortable. Rooms were spacious. Unfortunately our door decided to play up on our last night but was a minor issue. Air con wasn't the strongest. Hot water didn't last long, would be difficult to shower or whole family of 6. But all in all it was a great stay for us. Highly recommended.

Upstairs rooms are brighter and better-furnished. Downstairs rooms more basic and functional, but lacking sufficient power points near the bed. You roughly get what you pay for at The Sands, although there are many similar places along Glen Osmond Rd for the same (or cheaper) price. Sometimes has security issues with permanent residents. We have stayed here many times, and would consider staying again.

Absolutely disgusted in the service at this place. The lady was rude and disgraceful! The key we were given wouldn't work properly my partner was locked out of the room with our 4 month old baby in the middle of the night he tried to wake the lady up and she comes and and abuses and swares at him for waking her up! She wouldn't accept that her key was faulty do not recommend this place to anyone!!.

My family and I have visited The Sands for a couple of years. The motel is now under new management and the vibe is instantly more friendly than our first visit. The pool area has been upgraded and is the perfect backdrop for a family getaway. The rooms are clean and simple. Easy walking distance to restaurants and convenience stores. A retro slice of Paradise, minutes from the Adelaide CBD.

stayed here with my family of four, it had lots of room for all of us to have our own space. The beds were extremely comfy and it was in a prime location, being next to a small shopping complex. The management of this motel was extremely friendly and helpful! Would definitely recommend a stay here!!

Stayed here over New Years and was really great, the front desk guy/owner was very nice and understanding of the mishaps we had with a previous hotel that day, the rooms looked freshly painted and were nicely renovated, good space for parking and very quiet, would definitely stay here again!

We just stayed here for New Years. We ran into a problem with our previous hotel, so we found this hotel with 1 last room. The room was really clean and hygienic. The guy at the front desk was really nice and talkative. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone I know

The room was very stuffy having no screens on the windows and door made it hard to get air flow and cool it down. As a non smoker I found it very hard to deal with the smoking. Toaster and microwave was handy. The rooms could do with an update. The tv wasn't working properly and the remote was held together with rubber bands.

Nice place to spend the night has a nice cosy room and bathroom was old but still nothing to complain about. Close to shopping centre.

What a rude manager! Was walking past this motel with a client with autism. My client was a little stressed because the weather was getting bad. The manager asked us to move on, hes trying to run a business. Wow, some people have no clue .

I really liked staying here. Fairly quiet so had a good night. Toaster and microwave in the room is a handy thing. It could be labelled 'dated and basic' but I liked the experience and retro decor. Good value too and helpful staff.

Great place to stay with the family. Needed to get knives, forks, shampoo and conditioner myself and there was construction on a room above us that I wasn't informed about. But lovely staff and great spot with access to shops.
