"I just love so much this little place full of treasures but most importantly the amazing experienced service in buying quality kids shoes"
Really disappointed, I usually visit this shop once or twice a year to stock up on school Jumpers etc, and have had a really lovely experience. Unfortunately today I walked in to go through to the back end of the shop where the school shoes are and got looked at in disgust and got a "errrr can I help you" from a woman that sounded like she really wanted to go home and not be there. The woman was not helpful with sizing questions I had and carried on talking to me and looking at my children, who are very behaved in a shop like we were wasting her time. All I wanted was the sizing change explained. I would of liked to of just been helped nicely with good customer service, is that too much to ask maybe? Instead what has always been a pleasant experience i was made to feel uncomfortable and hurried. Shame as used to be such a lovely shop, I will be asked to be served by someone else next time.., perhaps a suggestion of a little customer care training!
Can't praise this store highly enough! They are shoe whisperers! They also have a fantastic range of lesser known, but brilliant brands. My toddler son has tricky feet (H fitting, high instep) and they have three times now found the perfect shoe for him with impressive ease. On our first visit he wouldn't let them measure him, but the assistant correctly choose which make of shoes he needed pretty much by sight alone. The last two times have had to be over the phone during lockdowns - when they once again suggested the perfect winter boots, sent me photos to make sure I liked them and very efficiently arranged for them to be delivered. My son loves the warm fleecy, baby bogs (boots) they suggested - so much so, he'd have worn them to bed if he could!
A wonderful selection of shoes for children and superb fitting service. In children's shoes, it can often seem like you have to choose between style and fit but the range and expertise at the Shoe Station demonstrates that this isn't the case. I brought my children in to be fitted for their school shoes yesterday morning. Parking outside couldn't have been easier and we were promptly ushered into a pleasant socially-distanced cubicle. Zoe, who fitted the shoes, was patient, friendly and incredibly experienced. She listened to concerns and promptly found the right shoes that fit properly and suited both my taste and my children's. No mean feat. And all for just a few quid more (for 4 pairs!!) than a well-known high street brand!
Such a brilliant shop with a thoughtful quality selection and such helpful kind staff who know their stuff. I had my 18 month old son properly fitted for his first pair of boots for winter and the shoes have held up so well as my son splashes in puddles and his feet stay dry. The store is also great for gifts and has an incredible selection of Brio train bits which make for a great activity for the little ones while you shop.
I just love so much this little place full of treasures but most importantly the amazing experienced service in buying quality kids shoes. Every shoe since we moved to area 3 years ago is from there and to be honest even though some might be pricey they last and therefore we only have one or two pairs at a time. I can't recommend it highly enough. Plus it's fun for kids which helps.
This is the first time I've used The Shoe Station for school shoes, but it won't be the last. My daughter has wide feet, and often high street stores just don't have anything that works for her. Today there was a great range of choice and some great advice too. I am seriously impressed. Thank you so much for your help!
Another great village shop with beautiful kids shoes. They do a lot of brands and styles. I have never failed to find a pair of kids boots or smart casual shoes for my girls. Staff is knowledgeable which is rare these days and always helpful. During sales time the Shoe Station always have great bargains!
My kids have grown up with The Shoe Station. It has a great range of shoes and more importantly staff who know how to fit shoes properly. The service is personal and the staff remember the children. Also, it has a great range of toys and gifts. It's a lovely local place to shop in Kew.
Great shoes for the little ones - with a play area where kids can get distracted from trying the shoes and give parents some time to discuss pros and cons of this versus that. Really good selection, really helpful personnel.
I just want to say thank you for all your help tonight and for staying late. Super selection of winter boots and shoes, broad range of brands and empathetic, knowledgeable and experienced service. A fabulous local store.
Great childrens shoe shop, great service. Not cheap, catch the sales. A pleasure to come here. Toys. Lovely area, go to nearby Q Verde for good Italian food. Book exchange in station. Next to Kew Gardens station.
The best kids shoe shop for miles around. Their staff is ever so patient despite facing herds of school-age kids at the start of every school-year and term, dispensing good advice and fitting.
Our first visit and definitely not the last! Very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff. I was buying first baby shoes. I came out very happy with the shoes I wanted. Highly recommended!
Could not have been more friendly. Fantastic customer service and very well set up in these coviddy times. We'll be getting all of our daughters childhood shoes from here. …
Had a great experience today. Fitting and buying shoes for two Granddaughters aged 1 and 3. Calm and professional. Made the whole job so much easier! Love the shoes too by the way!
We enjoyed the selection and a customer service at the store and found its merchandise more unique and picked with a better taste than at other popular toy destinations in London.
Love The Shoe Station! There is a great range of shoes in this shop for both my children. There is expert staff and a friendly atmosphere. My three year old loves the train!
Shoe shop with great range of children’s shoes but always receive terrible service. It’s like the staff resent children being in the shop. We only go there as a last resort.
Great service. Very patient to explain anything re shoes for the little ones - sizes, other concerns/ questions. Great quality too. Just got our second pair from there
bought my son a pair of shoes, dealt with a member of staff called bella, she was ok apart from stunk of cheese and she gave of the vibes of being disabled.
Great service, the staff are very helpful and and happy to answer your questions. Sell toys, swimming gear and other items, as well as shoes.
I have been a customer and also latterly was employed by them as a handyman, wonderful people, very helpful, and a joy to work for.
Cannot fault the customer care at this shop. They really do go out of their way to make sure you are well looked after.
A very kind and knowledgeable lady helped me find my toddler some shoes that fit his very wide feet. Thank you!
Exceptionally helpful, friendly staff and a lovely selection of toys and shoes for babies and young children
Always good. Not cheap but great products and the ladies working there know their job. We will come back!
They were very helpful fitting my son for his first pair of shoes. Great selection for a small shop
Great service, always have choice and sizes available. We don't bother going anywhere else now .
Nothing to complain. Great service and good shoes. Shopping there already for several years.
