"25 more tea lights glazed and ready to fire, although they might not make it in this firing! The amount of student work that is produced in The Stoneware Studio is incredible! It’s a testament to the amazing women who teach hobby-potters like me"
"The teacher that taught my class was not very helpful, she was absent for 20 minutes, at least, of each class so when she returned there was a line up of other students wanting to ask her a questions"
"Such a fun shop to stroll through, all the featured artists are incredibly talented, and you might even be lucky enough to be assisted by one such artist as you meander through the shop! I visited over the summer when some of Jillian Saro's works were on display, and I couldn't help myself from snagging the most perfect strawberry vessel"
"Have you been here to experience the variety of amazing stoneware done by a coop group of potters"
"Just stopped by the Stoneware Gallery for my first time in need of some Christmas gifts"
25 more tea lights glazed and ready to fire, although they might not make it in this firing! The amount of student work that is produced in The Stoneware Studio is incredible! It’s a testament to the amazing women who teach hobby-potters like me. They are each incredibly talented artists, and they share their knowledge, experience and passion with probably 100 eager students. I’ve said before and I’ll say again that I’m so thankful for the community that is Stoneware.
The teacher that taught my class was not very helpful, she was absent for 20 minutes, at least, of each class so when she returned there was a line up of other students wanting to ask her a questions. I often left the class feeling completely unaccomplished and like i wasted my time. I would recommend trying the pottery classes in st b, i heard they were good. The pottery they sell is beautiful.

Have you been here to experience the variety of amazing stoneware done by a coop group of potters. Here are two favourites @ValerieMetcalf and BarbaraBalfour. They offer quality lessons in the studio at the back of the shop. An opportunity to discover your creative vein. Need a gift for someone (or yourself) check out this shop!!
Just stopped by the Stoneware Gallery for my first time in need of some Christmas gifts. The work in there is amazing, like an art gallery. I was lucky enough to meet the artist who made the piece that I was purchasing as she rung me up. Will definitely be back!
Beautiful work for sale, absolutely lovely group of potters with diverse styles. Excellent studio space and lessons were a real treat. Highly recommend this art space for any level of artist. Very cool in house glazes and cone ten kiln.
Very impressed by their customer service. Two people answered the phone on the first ring, both friendly and ready to help. Wide variety of pottery in a range of price points. Highly recommend.
Some of the best potters in Winnipeg call The Stoneware Gallery home. It's a great place to buy local handmade pottery directly from the artists outside of maker markets.
High quality hand made ceramics by Manitoba artists. Prices are fair and this co-operative shop means that a greater share of proceeds go to the artists.
Winnipeg's best. Handmade pottery. Local artist make some of the best pottery on the prairies. Great place to get gifts for family and friends
So many choices from our artists. Wanted a 20 ounce mug and they actually found a liquid measuring cup to ensure I got the right size
