The museum is in an old (1723) house within the original riverside village of Twickenham. It is small (only two rooms), but there is plenty to see for 30 minutes to an hour. There are ancient neolithic stone spear points, as well as a Doggets Coat won by a local rower in the oldest rowing race in the world. More

They are small but have lots of information about how the area used to be. They have exhibitions that change -today there are a lot on pipes that have been found in the area!
Some really interesting items here, well worth a look in. They also have a huge Pope collection and exhibits on local history. It's free to enter but I encourage donating!
What a terrific place. It's looks do much better than it did last year. If you haven't been for a while you must visit again
I really enjoyed my visit finding out the history of the area! Friendly, knowledgeable staff.
