Stay AWAY AWAY from this place!! It has nothing to do with the pictures posted online. My friend and I, we went to Rajasthan and our first destination was Jaipur. My friend is Indian and she booked this place after she saw the nice pictures online. OMG! We were totally disappointed by the location, the neighborhood and the quality of the place. You don't even feel like you are in an hotel! I was totally frightened and immediately looked for another hotel. There was no wifi in the place, I was told to go to the terrace to get reception which still didn't work. The rooms are very poor quality, the neighborhood does not look safe at all and when we said we could not stay in this place the owner said we should pay the fee. I gave him my credit card but he said they did not have the credit card machine!!!! I could not believe!!! Also he said the ambassadors were staying in this garbage place and was surprised that we did not like it!!!! A total TRICKERY! So please stay away from this horrible place!!!!!

It is a one big bed-room apartment with a living room and a bathroom. The location is quite good, but it is located in a 'gali' or a small street, nothing fancy! However, you could walk to the main attractions of the city centre in 5-10 min. The apartment is taken good care by a Mr. Govind who treats his guests so very well...He will make breakfast for you, very co-operative, he even walked us out to our taxi! there is a very nice vegtarian restaurant with rooftop view of the city on the floor above the apartment. Their 'Rajasthani thali' was very tasty.

LOVED this place! The family who owns it are so nice, and the place is beautiful, very close to everything. But the real reason you should come here is Govind, the butler. He makes an amazing breakfast and is just the best ever, I cannot even describe how amazing he is you will have to come see for yourself. He does a pretty good layup in basketball and will show you the best way to eat a mango. 13/10 service

Beautiful room and apartment. Govind made us feel so welcome and looked after and made sure everything was perfect for us. Although thanks to Divyraj who went above and beyond to make sure we were ok and helped us checking our flights out of India and via Bahrain. Top service, perfect location and beautiful room.

We had an incredible experience at the Umaid Vilas. You get the royal Rajasthan experience, in a perfect location right across from the City Palace. Govind took such amazing care of us!! We can’t thank him enough :) Definitely stay here if you want a unique and authentic experience with 5 star service.

Not worth the price. Advisable to stay away from this place. Situated in congested place and NO parking. Only one room with no cross ventilation or sun slight which is stinking and suffocating. One only support staff trying to take care of every thing. Pathetic food.

Simply fabulous one bedroom apartment in the heart of the Pink City. Gobil is brilliant and takes really good care of you. The apartment itself is fabulous and they offer complimentary transport from the airport or train station in a vintage Hillman Ambassador!

Incroyable, quel bonheur de se retrouver en pleine ville, à proximité de tous les sites à visiter dans une villa destinée à nous seul dans une chambre de 90 m2 avec un majordome Govind toujours aux petits soins 24/24h. Magnifique et incontournable.

Historic lodging experience though the room needs more adjustment to make it more home-like. Staff is very attentive. It’s still very new as of 2019 so expect service and facilities to improve.

Good hotel. Nice interiors. There was no heating in the room in winters. Average service.
