We had quite the experience here. The food was wonderful - the spring rolls, chili beef, lemon fish, formula beef and various rice dishes. Compliments to the chef. However, it took us over an hour and a half from ordering to receive our food. The restaurant had a large table of 10, a table of 2 and our table of four. It turns out, the head chef was away that day and they only had one in the kitchen. He just couldn't keep up. This is a major management oversight. If you can't keep up with three tables, what if you'd had a full restaurant? There might have been riots. The other major mistake was that we had to get upset and ask questions to find this information out. The wait staff did not inform us why we were waiting as long as we had too. As I said, the food was wonderful, once it arrived. The staff provided us drinks on the house. Next time, we will call ahead to make sure they have the appropriate amount of chefs in the kitchen.

Waited 40 minutes for sushi (good sushi) and a little more than an hour for the main course. The steak wasn't cooked the way I asked it was decent however. We chatted w/ someone from the restaurant on whatsapp they sent us the menu only to find out when we arrived reservations are needed and that night was steak and sushi night (limited menu). We were able to get a seat at the bar. The cocktails were really good, average wait time 10+ minutes for them though. Customers began going up to register with the staff to try to speed things up, a few left out of frustration and lack of customer service. I especially liked the decor and cleanliness of the restaurant and staff appearance. The space looks just like the pictures. They also had a live musician which was very cool.

Another review writes that this is an “Oasis in the Desert” and I am inclined to agree! After a day trekking around Kumasi we returned to our nearby accommodation having eaten only suspect fried rice. The View offered a full menu, complete with cocktails, appetizers, and mains. We enjoyed calamari (which took a while!) and shared a plate of noodles and fried fish. Overall I’d highly recommend if you’re visiting Kumasi. It’s on a rather dusty road, but you should be able to tell your driver it’s by the petrol station in Daban on Melcom road and find it alright!

Went on a Wednesday evening and there were no customers. Our waiter Shakara was very polite and sweet. We ordered the spring rolls for appetizers which came in quickly and was delicious and hot. The only big complain I had was that the main course took forever. Ordered the burger and it was also good. Chips were hot and crispy. My partner ordered the char siu pork it was bland so we ended up splitting the burger.Overall, great placethe view is incredible at night

My experience here was terrible. Such a let down. To start with, the place is shrouded in darkness. No sign by the road and the whole parking lot is totally dark. Then comes the waiting time for the food. We had to wait at least 2 hours for the food to arrive and when it finally did arrive, the chicken was incredibly salty...totally unacceptable. Even the bill took forever to come. Plus the toilet does not have any lock. Terrible terrible terrible.

The place is nice. Their food is tasty. However, they take a long time to bring even appetizers. They need to provide bread or something while people wait on their food. Their drinks are good as well. They don't have any local foods, it would be great if they do. I think a chef can really create something special derived from Asante cuisine. The music they play is repetitive and western.

In as much as I have always loved this place I was really disappointed the 6th of April, 2019. The place was overcrowded with Air conditioners not being able to function effectively. In the unlikely event of a brawl, there would have been a stampede and the elevator takes just about 6 people. I wasn’t enthused about the crowd management otherwise it’s a very lovely place I’ll always want to be when I’m in Kumasi

Very nice place: food is delicious (I like the View Burger especially), service is alright and the place has a nice ambience, I think. The location seems quite odd (in the middle of nowhere) but once inside I always enjoy myself. While the salads are very tasty (to my mind), they add only very little chicken / crab meat to it. For the comparatively high prices, that shouldn't be the case..

We've been twice. Service is excellent. The food is good. We had fish the first time which was wonderful. We had pasta the second time and it was ok. It is expensive, however, and we were disappointed that they couldn't work their credit card machine and we had to pay out all the cash we had.

Nice environment Welcoming reception but poor service I was disappointed with the fact that I had to move from a dinner set up to a lounge just because I wasn't patronizing their main course after I bought appetisers I think they should reconsider opening on holidays if they know they can't provide the main dishes

It had been a while since I went there. I loved it the previous times I'd been there. The place and service were great, as usual. But getting there in the evening, after a slight rainfall, was a chore. There were some construction works on the usual road and we had to use an alternative route. Messy and muddy!

Environment is on point. Relaxing, timeless, classy restaurant. Kumasi’s fine dinning at its best. Linda was amazing; on point service, always attentive so you don’t have to wait for anything. Our meal was delicious and the cocktail, had me ordering a second. We will be returning.

Food is good. Very cool ambiance, unlike anything else in Kumasi. Excellent cocktails. Fifth star withheld for the standard lack of warm hospitality that should occur in a restaurant which wants to portray itself as high-end. Regardless, do not visit Kumasi without stopping in.

We had a good time at the view, the only problem is that, their food and drinks are way too expensive.

Good restaurant! Would come here again. The service was very friendly, the food was delicious. We had to wait for the food for quite a while. Be aware that the road in front if the Restaurant is currently not working due to construction work. Was difficult to reach.

Beautiful and serene environment. Very comfy and friendly staff. The food is A1 and the bar man did magic with the Cosmopolitan. I’d come here every weekend. Music was also perfect and just at the right volume. People, this is the perfect place to be in Kumasi!!

I ordered food and I was told the food will be ready in 10mins and its 7mins drive to where I was. It took them 1hr30mins. I had to keep calling and the food finally arrived with no cutlery. I was told food ordered doesn't come with any plastic cutlery sets.....

The view is Good and the service also but the people that coming there are like thugs someking weed infront of the place and girls are revealing not a place to go with parents!!! But with friends is okay

In the view you have the usual view on construction sites and half finished buildings like everywhere else in kumasi. Half a dozen waiters behind the bar but still half an hour waiting time for a round of cocktails. Cocktails were ok but not exeptional.

It seems like a great place to hang out.....the setting is excellent, tables, chairs,lights, bar and the service is on point.....I didn't really get the view because I went there in the evening but overall, it was an amazing experience.....bigups....

It was completely empty. We were not allowed to choose a table by the window because we were only two people. Simply ridiculous. Then the power went off and we had to leave by a steep external stair with no lighting. It’s a joke of a restaurant

Nice place, attentive staff, very tasty food, really good. We had 2 starters, fried octopussy and spring rolls. 2 main courses, chicken sizouchan and grilled beef. All dishes made with a twist and well seasoned. We would go there again.

A friend and myself visited the view and it was very disappointing . The chargrill chicken was so bland tasted more like raw chicken . I didn’t understand the 10% service charged either because the service wasn’t very satisfying..

Thier food was ok. The 3 stars is for not having black pepper. I ordered fried rice and it came with blended kpakpo shito without salt. Who does that. I requested for black pepper and waiter brought me "Bahia ground pepper"

They serve the best of cocktails and chicken varieties. It comes at a cost though. The atmosphere makes you feel at home. One of the best places to spend a good time with your girlfriend.

Top notch food and service, in a class of it's own. And it is located opposite the pitch bar. Food is exquisite and well cooked, prices are a bit high but you're paying for quality.

The View Bar offers a sense of realization. Their customer service remains the best I have seen and anyone who just want to have a great time should make the most out of this.

The mega tilapia was OK, the chips and chicken not bad however the noodles teriyaki is a big NO. The ambience was great. A little bit pricey. Overall impression fair.
