Took our laundry here on Sunday, went to fetch it on Monday and they gave us 2 bags instead of our usual 3. My partner told them that there is clothes missing before leaving and they assured us there wasn’t. After checking the items in the bags at home we noticed that there are in fact items missing. My partner went back to speak to them about it, to which we were told “sorry we can’t help you”. Apparently, you need to make an itemized list of your clothes and have them go through each item on drop off and pick up... how about you don’t mix your client’s clothes up!!! Terrible service! I don’t recommend.

Rather give this one a skip people. The afrikaans lady working there named Karen will definetly spoil your day with her sour attitude and face to match. She really has no clue what friendly customer service is, almost as if she hates her job and serving paying repeat clients. Not sure why the owners let her deal with people at all, she should be placed at the back of the business far away from customers.

Had my suit dry cleaned. It is outsourced, so my review does not reflect my opinion of the village laundry directly. The dry cleaners delayed the return because there "was a mark on the shirt" I don't know how, as my shirt was unmarked before. The end result was a clean suit, poorly pressed. I had to repress it myself.

Second time we have had great service. You helped me months ago with a wedding and suits that needed to get sorted before I flew to Jhb. And more importantly, how happy my girlfriend was with your service & help. Which is more than what I can say for another competitor in the area. Will keep coming back. Thanks again.

We’ve always had a positive experience. Staff are helpful and let you know if your washing cannot be done on the same day which is appreciated so one doesn’t wait without knowing. The clothes are always nice and clean as well as smell fresh. Items are folded and packaged very neatly. We would definitely recommend.

I dont know why this place has such a low rating, because it deserves 5 stars. This is the second time that i have had an emergency with my blankets and bedding and both times I have had the best experience. Very friendly and professional staff, got my laundry the same day and great value for money.

If you want your clothes burnt, stained or altogether lost then send them to the Village Laundry in West Coast Village.They also charge way more than other laundry services in the area. I will definitely be taking my busy elsewhere in future.

Highly recommended. It's already a wet and rainy Cape Town winter and I don't have the line space for washing and drying bedding. The Village Laundry is my absolute go-to-laundry for wash, dry and fold. Fantastic service too.

Ruined three of my garments. Washed a white and yellow striped shirt with dark colours, ironed out pleats from my pleated dress and got my beidge pants back with a brand new black stain :(
