"I love vimto, and I love that it's history is preserved in this wonderful statue my only complaint is the local council doesn't seem to be doing much about the littering going on in the park
Picnic area
I had a lovely can of vimto and a cheese sandwich in this park plenty of space for a picnic blanket"
"Great place to just sit and relax! Lovely big trees and plenty seating for everyone! Located in between university buildings and an elevated train track"
"Although aesthetically the Vimto sculpture is borderline kitsch this small island of green in the city centre is a pole of attraction for nearby urbanites whenever the Manchester weather forecast is partially cloudy with a small chance of rainfall"
"A nice-enough if nondescript bit of open space surrounded by the UMIST campus"
"An excellent place to bring doggie-friends, very quiet & rarely are there numpties roaming around"

Great place to just sit and relax! Lovely big trees and plenty seating for everyone! Located in between university buildings and an elevated train track. This park got best of both worlds; sun and shade. There’s Starbucks just around the corner too ✨

A nice-enough if nondescript bit of open space surrounded by the UMIST campus. One of the few bits of the city centre that the shower of ----s on Manchester City Council hasn't yet allowed some huge monstrosity to be built by one of their chums.
An excellent place to bring doggie-friends, very quiet & rarely are there numpties roaming around. Generally, the other dog owners are very friendly & allow their doggies to play with Kiri, my friend's samoyed. It's a great place to collect
This one of my favorite spots in Manchester, close to centrum and was close to Hotel I'm staying. Premach every days I was visiting atleast for half of hour some days, then I had some good chats was staying up to half of day. …
A very small park with a couple of benches to sit on. The area is very clean and the monument to Vimto is really cool. This is a popular park for people how play the popular mobile game Pokemon Go as the site is said to be an ex gym.
Vimto park is located near Manchester Piccadilly station, University of Manchester, and Sackville garden. It is nice to sit there and have a break from indoor working activities.
Fun little sculpture in the middle of a small green area, just a shame that the local council don't appear to care for it very much. Nice for a photo opportunity though!
As described in internet… but interesting to take some explanation by the guide and get why refreshment drinks were so popular at the begin of last century
Nice little park in the city center. Was a convenient, quiet, semi-fenced in area to to run my dog in the morning when we were staying around the corner.
I arrived the same time as some drunks so not sure if it’s always like this but don’t bring your kids the grass is filled with cigarette’s but
Very cool Vimto sculpture/exhibit. Highly recommended for a short visit, but not someplace where you'd want to hang out for a while.
A mancunian classic, would recommend for students and young adults who seek shadow in the day but don't mind sitting on the grass
Big space lovely park. You can sit under the trees and relax or take the whole family for a day out. …
There’s a big float of a bottle of wine that sits in front of the Sackesville building of the UoM.
Cute small park to have a chill time with your books or an evening walk with your dog. …
This small green area always make me smile. Childhood memories of homemade vimto ice lollies.
It was alright, nothing fancy, not very exciting, but glad for a green space in the city
Drank a bunch of tinnies here on pride, was a lovely day and the park wasn't bad either
This is such a lovely spot in the summer to just sit and chill during a lunch break :)
Peaceful green area in the university area surrounded by some interesting buildings
I went Uni here decade's ago. It's a nice place to relax when the suns out.
Lovely spot on a sunny day, and wasn't too busy! Nice relaxed atmosphere.
Great little area to relax in the city. Plus a very cool vimto statue.
Great park for relaxing, clean mowed lawn, places for tired walkers)
Very pleasant little park. Never knew Vimto came from Manchester!
A relatively rare piece of semi-peaceful nature in a big city.
Nice and peaceful space, right on the edge of the City Centre.
Manchester needs way more little green spaces like this one.
Nice little green space with historic vimto status to visit
It's a tremendous landmark showing mancunian heritage
The best dog walking area in Manchester city centre
A nice piece of art work, telling a local story.
A nice little park in a quiet location.
Nice and quiet to sit and have lunch
Nice quiet park with vimto statue
I like the vimto statue
