I visit Thornleigh marketplace at least once a week and overall it’s ok. The main pull is the Woolworths and Dan Murphy’s- both of which are pretty well stocked. There is also a Michel’s, a newsagent, pharmacy, tobacco shop, cafe and a bakery- as well as a couple of other little food options. Personally at times I find the place a little dreary - it could do with a bit of sprucing up. It isn’t really a place to spend any leisure time but if you need to duck into grab some groceries or a quick coffee it’ll definitely do in a pinch.

A local market place which offers most of the things one needs for day to day life. Dan Murphy's, Woolworths, Chemist, Meat shop, Cake shop, News agency to name few. Free underground as well as roof car parking is available. Street parking is also an option. It is located conveniently on Pennant Hills road and can be easily approached. Found it always neat and clean.

  • Alex Haddad (worldsking)

An alright centre. I do a lot of late night shopping here more than anything as the Woolworths is open late. Having the liquor store next door helps too. We do find a lot of sales at this particular woolies. Car park can be a bit of a headache at this centre. It does need an injection of something different as it appears old

A light and bright centre, it has a few coffee shops, great fish and chips at the fish shop, post office upstairs, newsagent, chemist, hairdresser as well as a few other shops. Usually a few pop-ups to add interest. The anchors are Woolies and Dan Murphy's bottle store. Ample underground parking as well as roof parking.

If you are looking for a quick duck into Woolies and/or BWS, this is the place. Quite easy to get in from Pennant Hills road and a single level parking makes it easy to access shops. Also has a great local butcher and a good cafe for a cuppa. Post office, hairdresser(s) for all ages and pharmacy are very good add ons.

  • Katherine Joy

A good centre that has pretty much all you need. Only complaint is that they stop the escalator later in the evening so you can’t take your trolley back to the car park which is quite inconvenient especially for those who can’t carry their groceries easily or walk long distances to go to the elevator.

Not very big, but supermarket Woolworths and Dan Murphy's (for alcohol) and a few small cafes, chemist, newsagency, fish shop and bakery there. Parking is good, both undercover and roof top parking available. Can walk from train station, bus stop probably nearby as well. Good for grocery shopping.

Shopping at Woolies at Thornleigh marketplace was a pleasure. Woolies wasn't crowded and spacious too. Compared to Woolies at Westfield where I think the expensive real estate makes woolies organise things close to each other without much regard to accomodating people comfortably.

  • Manuel Basiri

This is where I visit a few times a week to shop from Woolworth on way home. I can't be happier due to the fact that parking is 100% of the time available right next to the escalator to the shops on one level and back. A huge time saver compared to other more cluttered centers.

  • Jenny McGrath

Wow the biggest Woolworths I have ever seen. Staff very friendly. Very spacious throught out the whole store. Very impressed. Lots of other shops throughout this centre. Dan Murphy's there. Plenty of Parking but SUV's, 4 wheel drives can only park on the roof top car Park.

  • pc1user pc1user

There is an Aldi, IGA, Thai TakeAway, 2 cafes, Chemist, a Baby Gift shop, Drive Thru or Walk in Bottle shop, Petrol station and a St Vincent De Paul aswell as wheelchair access and toilets Plenty of Parking cost free. Also it has a local community bulletin board.

  • Helen Atkinson

Disappointed I always shopped there plenty of parking but it needs a facelift looking tired and no Chemist which is a must I know 1 is coming but needs to be quick Now competing with Westleigh,Pennant Hills and Cherrybrook. Shopping centres. But I will return.

  • Samantha Northam

Management suck at this market. They have no concern for the general public or health of those that used the services of a pharmacy that they kicked out. SHAME SHAME SHAME! Absolutely disgusting and immoral behaviour! People's health is at risk.

  • James Stewart

The options may be a bit limited, but the butcher is amazing, the coffee shop is pretty good, Australia post is here, and who wants to fight through the crowds at Woolworths Hornsby when Thornleugh has the same range and is so less crowded.

  • Daniel Zisman

I come by here fairly often as I live locally to the marketplace. It is a small marketplace and I mean that in a good way, it is never crowded, has Woolies and Dan Murphys, Post Office, all the essentials you would expect from a marketplace

  • Justin Ware

This is a small shopping centre so there's not a lot here. What's on offer is quite good though. The trouble is that it is on one of the worst parts of Pennant Hills rd, and it could take you 10 minutes just to get in on a busy day

  • jeremy mckinnon

Almost as bad as hornsby Westfield with the undersized car spots and some of the woolworths staff are less than helpful but otherwise everyone i have seen in the center seems nice and good coffee with a smile down near dan murphys

  • Jinu Abraham

It's the local market place with all the basic necessities.. You have the Woollies.. The Discount Chemist.. The Nail Salon.. The Hair Salon.. The Gym and a few good eateries.. The Lebanese bread sold here is especially good

  • Luke Walker

Great shoping that's perfect for all your basics. It's small so it's a quick in and out which I really value but the only think I don't like is the lower carpark isn't very 4wd friendly so it's roof top or steet parking .

  • Philip Lindsay

A good small shopping mall which has all your requirements . Woolworths, BWS grog shop, fish shop, hairdresser, chemist, tobacconist , bakery , cafes etc Plenty of parking and quick to get in and out of.

  • A Person

Good local shopping centre with woollies, Dan murphys and a few smaller independents including coffee shops, hairdresser, newsagent and (a good) post office. Undercover parking, clean and convenient.

  • Vanessa Schmierer

A smaller than normal mall with plenty of heart. Your usual needs in one place. Highly admire their support for local businesses with a Night Food Truck event on their rooftop. Ample parking.

  • Rahul Sarup

A convenient place with Woolies, pharmacy, bakery, Dan Murphy, hair saloon & couple of cafes. After grocery shopping, I love to relax with coffee at Michelle's :) Also plenty of free parking.

  • Farzad Momeni

Small, but useful. As you can find Woolworths, Danmorphy, post office, butchery and tobacco shop there, with a lot of parking lots, having this shopping center is a big point for Thornleigh

  • justin ball

Was my local centre for many years and all of the stores are good value and ran by decent hardworking people. It's not the biggest shopping centre but still has a good variety of shops.

  • J O

Good, small and clean shopping centre with an excellent Post Office upstairs. The woolies is good except for the lack of staff to help and long queues for registers. Plenty of parking.

  • Cubedragon 56

To call it a shopping centre is almost pushing it, it has a woolies and bottle-o and a few other stores but it feels more an extension of the main street than an actual shopping centre

  • Michelle Cameron

Everything you need in one place for your weekly shop. Parking isn't an issue but exiting the car park during peak hour can be due to people taking the shortcut to pennant hills road.

  • Ryan Moore

Great little shopping village! Just wish it had mobile phone reception. Only place I go in all of Sydney that I have absolutely no reception! Thankfully Dan Murphys has free Wi-Fi.

  • Paul Swain

Good local shopping centre. March 2020:. Great to see the seniors' shuttle bus service. Pity it looks like it's just a trial, but hopefully people use it and it becomes permanent.

  • Phil Lindsay

Always a delight to shop in Thornleigh. The butcher is high quality , Dan Murphies is huge selection of drinks, Woollies is fabulous, the mens barber do a brilliant cut.

  • Robbie Cannings

Woolworths is worth visiting, but otherwise there isn't much there which appeals to me. Parking options are good - overheight vehicles up top, small cars downstairs.

  • Gordon Dracup

Woolies and Dan's are the only reason I go here now. All other shops seems to be struggling or closing. Eating options limited although you can get a nice gozleme.

  • Mick Narracott

Always parking, medical centre gym post office hairdresser chemist coffee shop etc very Spacious Woolworths unlike Coles they had exclusive rights to daffodil day.

  • Sarah Boyd

Has everything I need. Convenient. Lovely Japanese takeaway ÷ Dan's and Woolies. Usually passing through so haven't tried the butcher. Good coffee from the cafe.

  • Robert Sepping

It's a shopping centre, what more to say? Not as large as a Westfield, has a Woolworths. Tricky vehicular entry from the back street. Narrow ramps between levels

  • Brendan Smith

Folks, your bathroom rates somewhere between high school dunnies and high way thunderbox. You might need to hire a Hazmat team and give your cleaners a break!

  • Stephen Crampton

Best burgers at the food place between tobacco shop and woollies. Tobacco shop blokes always friendly. Woollies has all you need. No reason to shop elsewhere.

  • Paul

Handy shopping centre on Pennant Hills road. Easy to stop and grab things from Woolworths on the way to work to avoid paying crazy take away prices for lunch.

  • M Short

Spacious, clean, with a number of large and small shops you'd want to be convenient to you such as Woolworths, Dan Murphys, a bakery, cafe, and others.

  • Paul Brennan

I only went to two shops being Dan Murphy's and Woolworths. Both of these were well stocked and provided excellent service. I will shop at both again.

  • MC Alex

Good place for weekly grocery and shopping.. But not for the place to go for other shopping like clothing, electronics, household items /appliances

  • Zhivan Wasinski

Good for a quick visit to Dan Murphy, the hair dresser or chemist. 4WDs need to park on the rooftop due to low ceilings in the other levels

  • Josh-I Fam

3 and a half star actually. Good for basic grocery shopping and a quick bite. Can have more shops. Parking can be tricky in peak hours.

  • Andrew Speirs

Active with most services, currently has a couple of vacant shops (no butcher or seafood shops). Parking on the roof is never a hassle.

  • Joy Perkins

Won't stop there again. Computer and internet problems which made shopping very difficult. I had to go elsewhere to get what I wanted

  • Kim Rosewell

A small but well catered for shopping place. Open air and undercover car parks. Has Woolies, Dan Murphy plus other specialty shops.

  • elyas khaliqis

small marketplace with all necessities... Woolies and Bottle shop are main shops and pretty well maintained little local centre.

  • Peter Noble

Centre is OK, sometimes not easy to get into/out of the carpark with all the traffic and now building apartments on Bellevue st.

  • Pete Holman

Small collection of local shops around a large Woolworths and Dan Murphys. SUV parking upstairs and covered car parking under.

  • Luke Ross

Good parking, had to deliver cabinetry to new optometrist opening soon. We were able to get our truck up to the top car park.

  • CASSANDRA FOWLER

Quiet but lovely place to take a walk through lots of little places to find something to eat and to do some shopping as well.

  • Bernie Saliba

Easy parking with undercover parking, great on rainy days. Friendly and helpful retailers who support the local Community.

  • Amit D

Very convenient to get in and get out of the shopping center. Ample parking is available. Would love to see its expansion.

  • George W.

Good local shopping complex with underground parking and reasonably sized spaces It is home to Woolworths and Dan Murphy's

  • Leon Roberts

Clean, fairly busy. Supermarket well stocked, but not the best for vegitarians. There foods for vegitarians is limited.

  • Peter Neeson

Located very conveniently with good range of shops for that quick and necessary item. Nicely laid out and good parking.

  • Peter Fowler

Pleasant neighbourhood shopping centre with plenty of under cover parking. Woolworths and Dan Murphys the main stores.

  • arijit maity

With Woollies and Dans, you will find pretty much everything. I hope it was a bit bigger with more shopping options.

  • Stefan Pulpitel

Decent selection of shops to get things done. Only downside is the prevalence of charity people as you enter/exit...

  • Jon Humphries
