I've scheduled 3 appointments here and almost every visit something has gone wrong. My first experience with Thrive was in January, I called to schedule an appointment, they say they don't schedule appointments over the phone so I went on their website to make one. I needed to bring my dog in to get his prescription of meds, so I fill out the appointment form and list this as my reason for coming. I schedule it for 11:30am. I get to the appointment and am waiting in the room with my dog for them to come tell me that prescription visits are technically "sick" visits, and my "wellness" visit is not long enough(i'm guessing 30mins) for the doctor to come, and they asked if I could come back later at 1pm. I declined, I had work that day I couldn't stay around nor did I want to drive home and back, so we rescheduled for that next monday. Next appointment comes and we see the doctor, everything is going well she is very nice and writes his prescription, and since he's on a new medication he hasn't taken for more than a month the doc says we should have his liver tested to be sure it doesn't affect it, she recommended 3months from then. 3months later I schedule an appointment online, very specifically stating I need a new prescription and that we need to do bloodwork/tests to make sure the meds are working well for his organs. I schedule it for 2:30pm, I arrive and they claim my appointment was at 2pm, confused, I show them the appt reminder text message that says 2:30, luckily they still see him. They take his blood and give me the prescription, I explain to them what the last doc said about getting the test so we can see if the phenobarb doesn't affect his liver. The test and doc visit that day was about $225, not bad compared to if I got it at mission vet where i have taken him before. Anyway, they see me and do the test and say they'll call me on saturday with the results. Saturday comes with no call. Sunday i get a text reminder of an appointment scheduled for the next day, so I call them and ask about it because maybe something went wrong in the test, but they made it out to seem like the doctor was going to tell me the results during the appointment, so i rescheduled it and come today, hoping for results. I arrive and the tech is confused as to why I'm there, and I am too. I explain what's happening and she looks into it and tells me the phenobarb levels are normal but i ask about his liver and she says they didn't run that test and there must have been a miscommunication about which tests were being run. So they had to draw his blood again and charge me $50 for the test which is just disappointing because it all could have been done in one day. Overall this place seems disorganized, you would think a big place with many locations would be more organized. Makes me regret not taking my dog to a local spot again, but the prices aren't that bad, i havent visited the doc for anything major and hopefully i don't have to. After i get the results of this test i'm hoping to switch vets because this place keeps proving to me that they are incompetent.

Not affordable and they do not care about their customers. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with a vet’s office. To the point that I feel it’s necessary to tell everyone to stay away. At first it seemed good and I wanted to love it. Took my dog in, signed up for the membership, everything was easy enough. Then came time to deal with her ongoing allergy issues, they switched her meds (I later found out the new ones are more expensive and honestly don’t seem to work as well). Since the new meds are more expensive I decided to order them through 1800petmeds and save myself about $62.50/mo which adds up. Filling her prescription has been the biggest pain and it takes so much back and forth each time that my dog ends up going without for a week and her allergies get so bad that she’s chewing her paws and shaking her head until she whines. So I call to tell them that 1800petmeds is waiting on them (again) and get the worst customer service from the receptionist, Irma. So much attitude, unwilling to help out, keeps telling me I can just get the meds there (believe me if I could afford paying that much, it would be easier), etc. eventually she hangs up on me. Wait times for appointments are long. Trying to schedule follow ups for my dogs ears has been a pain. Just overall terrible service and they truly do not make you feel like they care about your pet or you.

I went here about two months ago concerned about my 4 year old dogs skin, which was very flakey and smelled bad. When I made the call for an emergency visit, I specifically said I want a skin scrape done. When I arrived, they took my dog in the back to “look” at her. Came back and told me she has allergies. She’s never had allergies, we’ve made no diet changes and she’s hardly even outside. I told them to look at her, her entire under belly was red/pink with lots and lots of flakes. They barely lifted her up to look, and seemed so unconcerned. They were more concerned about asking me if my dog was spayed and if I was going to breed her. Like, that’s completely irrelevant to the issues my poor dog has right now. I asked if they thought it was fungal due to the smell, and if they could please do a skin scrape. Very dismissive about my concerns, they insisted on an allergy shot and medicated shampoo. I didn’t agree, but hey, I didn’t go to vet school so what do I know. Fast forward two months and she still has the same issues. Took her somewhere else where they did a skin scrape. What do you know- yeast infection! My poor dog suffered for so long because these guys were more concerned about spaying my dog than addressing my emergency visit (which is much more expensive than a regular visit, mind you). This place sucks. Never again.

Great experience today for just an exam! About 10 minutes prior to my appointment, I received a text for self check in, SUPER EASY to do on my phone. When I got there, I went in and reception was very nice and welcoming, she asked if I wanted to be in the exam room with my pup (because I had a mask on) and we got his weight. Once that was updated, we immediately went to an exam room. No more than a minute later, a technician (Kathia) came in for vitals and she was very sweet and professional; made my pup calm down a bit which was so nice to see. I did have a short wait but as I could hear other exam room doors opening and closing, I was aware that I was not the only person there. I’ve also worked in animal medicine before so I will never mind having to wait, even 5 minutes. When the doctor and tech came in for the exam, they were sweet and upbeat; my pup was doing great the whole time and they were very communicative! All in all, I had a great experience and I think my pup did too. ❤️❤️

I don’t know what happened today but it’s made me furious. I had an appointment at 3pm, and waited in the front without anyone there for 15 minutes. After 10 minutes, I firstly took myself to the back to find that every single worker was lounging and laughing in the back while only one person was working and administering shots. After I had a notification that I missed my appointment since no one cared enough to sign me in after the extensive wait time, I called the phone to let everyone know in the back that I still demand my appointment because I had been waiting there the entire time with my dog at given appointment time. 15 minutes later like mentioned before- I finally got a room. 45 minutes later, I am still waiting in the room for my dog to have her vaccinations and heart worm medication. Where is the doctor? Does no one check on these people to make sure they’re actually working? Ridiculous. Total waste of my time and going to switch places.

Edit: Dropped stars again due to them never answering the phone, never replying to email. Do not sign up for Pet+ care from them. They will never cancel if you move out of the area or help you. No idea what is going on with them. Avoid this option as much as possible. ----------------------------------------------------- Not bad , reasonably priced. I have dropped the star down due to them never answering the phone, not checking the thrive message center and never chatting back when asking a question. Our kitty was very well taken care of and the price was very reasonable for what was done. The vet there is kind and did a great job. I would have to say, don't get the thrive account. You cannot cancel it for 1 year, no matter what. It's just not worth it for what you save if you only have one pet. More that that, it seems like a good deal. Just one, no need. Bit the bullet and pay the normal rate ( it's low compared to others anyway)

This veterinary practice has never let us down! Me and my girlfriend and my roommates just moved to San Antonio last spring, and we have a Thrive closer to us, but this one has much better reviews so we decided on this one instead. They took perfect care of my roommates old cat in her last month of life, and were completely kind, understanding and just empathetic. I took my cats in for a yearly check up and it was fast but affordable and insightful on their health. My girlfriend has gotten a new cat with a slew of problems so we just booked another appointment with them, and they were so incredibly helpful. They’ve helped us come up with a plan to get his health on track, and it’s not costing us an arm and leg to go in debt to get him the help he needs. Each time we’ve gotten a different doctor or tech/assistant, and each time they’ve all been just absolutely wonderful, understanding and kind. Love this place!

  • Frances Perez

Exceptional service. The appointment making process was very convenient on their website, where you can see all available times. I received multiple text updates prior to the appointment explaining the check-in process. Before entering, I was afraid the waiting room would be full of other customers and their dogs but there wasn’t anyone! They led me to my own room to wait which is great if your dog/cat gets scared around other animals. I was attended to very fast, the process took about 30 minutes in total. Everyone was extremely friendly from the receptionist to the tech and doctor. I’m not used to going to a vet’s office where everyone is nice and informative (usually people who work there are irritated). I was explained my options very clearly and given the price quotes on each. Very pleased with this place and will be back again with my other dogs in case anything happens!

Annual exam and vaccines today. This clinic has been taking care of my dog Mocha for 4 years since I adopted her as a puppy. The staff are friendly and professional. The clinic is always clean. The veterinarian Dr. Kronewetter takes the time to answer any questions or concerns. During our recent visit London was also helpful and informative as well. They’re very thorough and give great advice! I love their app and check in process. It makes things run smoothly and makes the whole process quicker. Receptionist also very nice! My dog has her nails trimmed when we go in and I’ve never had any problems with that either. I always get a follow up text or call after any appointments and I really appreciate that. Especially when it’s for a “sick” appointment. I’m also a part of their membership program so that saves us money too! Thank you for keeping our animals healthy!

  • Lily

This place has been helpful considering my dog has chronic skin conditions. We definitely get a lot taken care of during visits. Unfortunately the key word is visits if you need help in between visits for refills of any kind the receptionist lacks tact. After working in high volume situations it is possible she needs additional help and if that is the case I feel for her because I have been in that situation. My solution is to use them for appointments but do my best get medications elsewhere. So instead of dragging anyone just throwing this out for anyone else having a similar issue. Chewys and H‑E‑B pharmacy can assist with medication refills and most vets do not have a problem with refilling medications through a pharmacy. If their goal is to do what is best for our pets they should have more tact when discussing concerns.

  • Corbin Webb

This was the most unprofessional vet I have ever dealt with. I called made an appointment and when I got there they wouldn’t see my dog. I discussed with the agent that I needed my dogs vaccines they said no problem here’s when your appointment is. I drive there and they say no they booked me with the urgent care doctor not the general doctor and that the doctor I’m seeing can’t administer the vaccines. And I can’t even call the agent because it’s a call center. So now my dog doesn’t get her vaccines, I drove there for nothing and no one could tell me why this happened because they don’t have direct support to the clinic. Absolutely a joke of a vet, if they can’t schedule an appointment properly, then they probably shouldn’t be taking care of animals.

If you go to this location, be aware you might come across a very rude and distasteful Doctor named Dr. Smith. When my best friend came to have her cat seen for an emergency, the techs were very nice. The front desk people also super sweet. But when we finally got to meet the doctor, she was already very rude, barely said hi just introduced herself and started to in a very rude way tell my friend the condition of her cat. The whole time she was rubbing her hands aggressively and telling my friend in a condescending tone the plan for her cat. I get being a vet is hard, and people can be rude to you but the way your tone is and your body language can speak volumes. Me and my friend were already stressed from her cat being very sick.

  • Cristina Moreno-Garcia (so-selfie)

I go online and it shows no availability. But then it shows a phone number in case their supposed availability doesn’t work. I call and the lady mentioned no availability at all today or tomorrow, unless is an emergency, charging as emergency. And she clarified the emergency fee. No walk ins accepted. Is that the care and love Thrive has for animals? Are all veterinarians in America putting money before a pet’s well being? Because I’m from Mexico and over there I can take my dog to the vet when sick and if they are busy they’ll let me know but I can wait the same day to get my pet treated. Very disappointing experience. And from what I read in the reviews, it’s all about extra fees. Nothing affordable here.

I was really happy that I was able to have raven seen by them! They were professional the entire time! They were really informative and made sure to answer all of my questions and any other concerns! They made me and my fur babies and my mother feel comfortable and at home and relieved any worries that came up even during the exams! I took my other 2 dogs Baxter and Mei Mei to another location and loved the experience and professionalism there too.(didn’t realize they had one closer to my location lol) I highly recommend going to this establishment! They took care of my fur babies so well I don’t think I’ll go anywhere else! Thank you again so much for looking after my babies!!!

  • Evelyn

I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I thought highly of this place before and they use to treat dogs with more attentiveness. Past few times I’ve taken my dog I just get short responses when I ask what treatment options do I have, or any questions in general. Disregard importance of my concern. These are our pets and they train to care for our animals we are entrusting them to provide us with the upmost care and resources. I too have arrived and no one is available at front. Overall the compassion and the care they used to provide when they first opened is gone. I understand why they have less clinics now I have changed veterinary clinics where my pets actually matter.

  • Chase Serafino

Unprofessional and rude. My appointment was at 3pm and when I showed up at 255 they said I would have to wait an hour and could not leave my dog. After I told the girl at the desk I drove 20 min, she (visibly annoyed) said I could just sit in my car for an hour - it’s 103 degrees. After waiting an hour and twenty minutes I took my sick dog home bc no other places could see him. A simple call or text saying they were running behind would have been fine but letting me show up on time only to wait over an hour and then be annoyed at ME is unacceptable. I’m sure the vets are fine here but common courtesy and business decorum should not be this difficult to get from a business.

I visited Thrive on Austin Highway today, Saturday. I needed urgent care for my cat's upper respiratory problem. It was not an emergency, but I did not want to wait until Monday since my cat was uncomfortable. I called and made an appointment for 5:00. My cat was seen at 5:00, and we were finished by 5:30. The cost was much less than a 24 hour emergency clinic, and I was even offered "Stretch Pay". The vet and her assistant were nice, and my cat received necessary medications. Strive is a really convenient and cost-effective alternative to emergency care or waiting through the weekend until my regular vet is open. I'm a satisfied customer. Thank you, Strive.

  • Amanda Abel-Shepherd

I called in an appointment for Vaccines and a pet exam. I was told over the phone the charge for the services. When I got to the office, it was different. The girl at the front desk told me there was additional charges for more exams. The cost was significant so i questioned it. The girl said the call center is not informed and then finally said that it was optional. After that, the Vet calls me and says the checkup is done. I asked if she did the Vaccines already since that was quick and she said No that she didnt know that my cat needed vaccines because it was not on her chart list. That was the main point of me taking my cat there. It was confusing.

  • Hunter Tuepker

This place wouldn't see my dog even though we had scheduled an appointment. They said his appointment was scheduled wrong and that we could come back later for a walk in. Which I get it but what was upsetting and appalling was the customer service and how they treated my dog. My dog was actively bleeding from his paws and was anxious and they did nothing to help him. They turned him away and said they didn't have time to help him. Also, they didn't even see him on time and didn't even have a person to check him in when we came in. Overall, this place was terrible and treated my dog and I horribly. I don't recommend this place to anyone or their pets.

Have a 12 year old female dog with not a history of UTIs got a UTI. I just moved here to San Antonio went to this vet who immediately gave me an estimate for $808 when I brought the urine and even be checked gave her an antibiotic. antibiotics wasn’t working called them five days later they want a whole new appointment just to change an antibiotic for UTI said well, it could be kidney stones, all they cared about was the money. The doctor never even called me back it was always an office girl who is not very nice and told me I could come back in in two days but the dog still in pain they didn’t care about that don’t recommend this place at all .

  • Sharonda

The techs are nice but the veterinarians are rude and condescending, one male Dr. B in particular. When I took my dog in, they proposed doing an eye exam with a special machine but this cost more money of course and wasn't included but could detect any issues with my dog's eye (which is the reason we came in) it looked like a magnifying glass. I thought are your kidding me that's the special machine! I asked for the office manager to call me and he never did. Not professional. Their fees are also very high, if you have to bring your pet back for the same issue within a short time they still attempt to charge you absorbant fees. It's ridiculous.

  • RA S

This is a very efficient vet clinic. Appointments are easy to book online. They have a room ready for you and your pet at the time of your appointment. You are able to pay for your visit in the exam room so the lobby does not get full between those checking in and those checking out. Beatrice keeps me updated via text and she responds right away. Both vets called me to give me an update on my pet. The clinic is very bright and well designed and very clean. It doesn’t smell of pets despite being a vet clinic. The only concern i have are the bench seats in the waiting and exam room. They are not the most comfortable to sit on.

I cant tell you what a sad day it was as I found out that I had to put my dog down because of his heart condition. The staff at thrive were compassionate and very kind .I think my crying was a bit much but my heart was and still is broken So I couldn't express my gratitude because of my grief so here it is. . Thank you for allowing me to show my pain thank you for trying to console me when I could do nothing but cry. Thank you for being patient but most of all thank you for helping Wallace cross over as peaceful as possible, with the dignity he deserved. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Johnny and Wallace

  • Nala Olivas

Everything about my visit was perfect! They are very organized, very clean, very friendly, and no wait time if you have an appointment. The doctor was absolutely amazing. She took her time to examine my dog and she was very thorough and friendly and answered all my questions and concerns . On top of all that they have the lowest price I found for the exam. It was only $25 ! Of course you still have to pay for meds and any testing but everywhere else I called charges $50 and up . I will definitely keep coming here and will recommend to all my friends and family. I am very happy I found this place.

Our 20 yr old cat was finally at the end of his long life. His quality of life had diminished and he was suffering. We called multiple places looking for someone who too CareCredit. The ones that did were unable to help us. Allure wasn't taking intakes but told us to come in. They saw our boy was not doing good and helped him find peace. We got his creaming back in less than a week. They were kind and supportive and the price was the same as if we went to a vet (normally urgent care is much more expensive). Should we ever need to take our pups in for an emergency, we will choose Allure.

  • Briana M.

Everytime I come here they schedule me for the wrong type of appointment and try to push extra services that aren't necessary. They refused to service my dogs because I did not want them getting *another* set of rabies shots. They lost the records I provided and then demanded I also pay to see the actual vet. I only went in for a nail trim and they were trying to force over 150$ of services onto my pets. They are very unprofessional and unorganized. This was not my first visit there but it was the first time they refused my dogs bc I wouldn't pay the extra money for unneeded services.

  • Marsha Hendricks

Andybear and I absolutely love everyone at Terrell Plaza Thrive veterinary clinic. They got us in promptly on time, thoroughly explained everything that was being done. Andybear said they were very kind and gentle with him considering all the things that were seen to at his annual visit. Thrive is good solid veterinary care without all the extraneous frivolous cosmetic Office furnishing frills. So you don’t have to pay for that superficial visual amenities. They charge approximately half of what some of the big cushy clinics charge!.

  • Cindi Manney

I love this place! My sweet kitty Fluffy was on the brink of death and even though I didn't have an appointment they took him in and over 3 visits they would check in with me on the phone or by text to let me know what was going on or just to see how he was doing. They were friendly and the prices truly are very reasonable and they even offer credit so you can pay it off. Finally they have a membership for $10 a month that gives you free office visits and discounts on other things. Several offices around town.

  • Nathasha Lencaro Soyza

Took our 2 years old Great Pyrenees to Thrive at Terrell Plaza Urgent care for the first time today. My Leo hates Doctor visits but surprisingly he was very calm at this office and while the doctor examined him. The tech, Ms Ashley and Dr. Smith was so nice and professional. They explained everything to us very clearly. Not forgetting the receptionist Ms. London who welcomed us warmly to the clinic and set us up with the doctor. Place is very clean and the staff is just wonderful. Glad we found this place.

  • Carrie Jordan

We have a Daniff (half Mastiff and half Great Dane) named Catfish. I shopped around for affordable pet insurance plans and Thrive offered the best price. So far it has paid off because we have taken him multiple times. I've made several appointments and the wait time till the appt wasn't long and prices were reasonable. Since he is a big breed I have peace of mind that I can take him in as often as I want under the plan and it won't cost me an arm and leg. Vets are informative and staff is excellent.

  • Paul Wilkerson

This place is nice but the wait inexperienced was too long. I had a 3pm appointment booked and my dog wasn’t seen for at least an hour. Multiple pets came in after me and were taken back to the vet ahead of me. Not sure what the deal is but I won’t be back. Too many vets that respect their clients time to practice this way. They took good care of him but you can spend your time and money elsewhere if you want your time to be respected and can’t be at the vet for 2 hours for a simple wellness check.

  • Althena Clark

My 2 babies had their wellness appointments today. My husband and I have been taking them there since 2019. The staff as well as the doctors are very friendly and professional they treat our babies as if they were their own. Any questions or concerns I had were readily answered by the doctor. Our babies were handled very carefully while their shots were being administered so if you are looking for a vet hospital to handle all of your babies needs I highly recommend Thrive in Terrell Hill.

  • Zackia Escudero

My pets needed to get a health cert for a PCS move in 1 day and they got us squared away. in addition they were very transparent about pricing and my dogs were very accepting of them. even my slightly apprehensive dog was good with them and I feel it's because they sense the people who work here are good people. My pets got the absolute best care and we are so happy! If I wasn't moving I would have made them my permanent vet clinic. plus the prices are very good.

  • Roccz 2o9

In my opinion I would never ever forgive them I never thought I would trust a vet so much yet to fail the way they did I hope no dog ever gets misdiagnosed the way my baby has they said it was an ear puncture he was getting worse so I took him to another yet said his jaw done was deterriating and wasn't sure he could be safe had to put him down. If maybe it would of been sooner I could of had a chance! I came here because of the good reviews big mistake.

  • Kevin Mendoza

The medical staff at this location has repeatedly shown me nothing but incompetence and severe stress. I have had multiple consultations with different veterinarians here and there, and every time I was given bogus and fearful information. They even sent me off to a specialized doctor in Stone Oak, because the doctor was inexperienced and could not do a test. Please take your loved ones elsewhere, if you wish to save trouble, money, and worry.

  • Jamie Zuniga

Absolutely wonderful visit Dr.Severns i just wonderful i just love how much she cares about my babys. I went in to office yesterday 8/31/22 i had 2 separate appointments and they did their very best to see 2 of my dogs at same time. It really saved me time and gas. Also the staff are amazing as soon as we walk in the remember who we are and call us by name it a great feeling i come from a small town they make me feel like im home again

  • Nicolasa Granados

My first time at Thrive Pet Healthcare and I have an marvelous experience. The staff and Dr were very concerned about my poor Brando. They took good care of my baby. They are very professional and they explain in details step be step of the procedure that they were going to preform in Brando. I am very happy with the outcome. Will recommend Thiver Pet Healthcare to families and friends. Thank you for taking care of my baby Brando.

  • DEBBIE

Best place ever!Walked in and was promptly greeted, didn't even have to take a seat and was put in a exam room in less than a minute.Smells fantastic too..London & Erma we're so gosh darn awesome! Dr Kronewette was on point & knew exactly what Peepsqueak had. Overall wait time was less than 45 mins, the fastest & best vet appt ever.13 years later we now have a go to Vet Dr's office. We'll be back in 2 weeks..Thank you ladies!

  • Laryn K.

This clinic has great prices, I loved the receptionists and the vet tech I saw (I think her name was Lindsey?), but my experience with Dr. Smith was frustrating. She did not introduce herself, attempt to make small talk, or appear like she liked my cat at all. I don't know if this was maybe just a bad day or if she just doesn't like cats. Whatever the case may be, if I go back to this clinic, I will be seeing the other vet.

  • Dezine 2 Shine Productions San Antonio

2nd time here. 1st time I brought in a stray &they were so kind. Brought my boy Petey in today for all his vaccinations & nail trim & let me tell you!! The doctors are wonderful & informative. Their prices can't be beat! They are welcoming & kind & wait times are nothing compared to all the other places I've been to. I love thrive this is our new Vet thanks for all you do for our fur babies!!

  • Jay B

I love that they have urgent care hours past 6pm when most clinics are closed. I thought that the employee at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Overall I thought that the services rendered were good and the prices fair. But i have to give three stars because the veterinarian never called us to discuss the urine sample we submitted for testing, which was one of the main reasons we went there.

  • Esmeralda Aguilar

I recently got my first puppy, and was concerned when she got diarrhea and wasn’t acting very “puppy-like”… I called Thrive and Amberly helped to 1. Calm my nerves and 2. She made setting up an appointment very easy and she got my Maya in the very next morning. She was seen by Dr. Severns who was thorough and so professional. Overall great experience and will be bringing my baby here for a long time!!!

  • christina shoemaker

Thrive affordable vet care went above and beyond meeting our expectations. The staff are very friendly, warm and welcoming. We was informed every step of the way on both pricing and the procedures being done on our dog. I love the place because you get the feeling that they genuinely love and care for the well being of everyone's beloved pets. They officially have our future business.

  • MArgaret Scott

Took my cat for his appointment today.I was greeted by Michael who showed me to the examine rm. Dr Kronewetter examined my cat with her tech Melissa. They were all very polite. You could tell by the way they handled my cat how gentle they were that they truly cared. They explained all the charges. I like that no surprises on my bill. I will be taking my pets there from now on.

  • Erin Therace

My dog always gets to see London. She is amazing at what she does. My dog is kinda shy and she makes him feel confident and brings out his playful side. She always goes above and beyond to provide tips on the best shampoos for his shedding fur or the best snacks for his sensitive digestive system. I’d recommend this location to everyone who has a furry family member.

  • Jessica Martinez

We started with Thrive on DeZavala Rd and were really sad to hear they had been sold. London at the front desk gave us information about the Terrell Plaza location and we made the decision to move locations. They have been so great to us and our pets! They are caring and affordable and always make me feel like they truly care about me and my pets!

I took in my cat because he was vomiting all weekend and found out that he also had tapeworms!!! Dr. Smith and Ashley were soooo helpful and answered all my questions!! We were out in about 2 hours and only paid around $200 to take care of the tapeworms AND fix his nausea, absoutely the best vet I've been to, I would 100% come back again!!!

I loved our visit today! Last year’s visit didn’t go as expected due to the previous vet’s comments towards my pet. This time I was nervous about taking her back but I decided to give it another chance and it was wonderful! I loved how they treated my pet and how well they explained things to me. I definitely recommend. Thank you so much.

  • And OneMore

They don't answer the phone, can't reschedule appts. They never call you back and their veterinarians refuse to ok prescriptions for special food each other like it's a controlled substance. Will be calling thrive corp. To complain and getting another veterinarian! I spend 45$ a month to have trive insurance on my animals, disgraceful!

  • Alyssa Jordan

Staff was great with my shy pet. They also were very informative of what they were doing the whole time which was nice. I’ve used them for years, even with my older dog who I had to put down. They made that hard process a little easier. I highly recommend them and even though I live 30 minutes away I will continue to use this location.

  • Michael Seidel

Our puppy was in need of urgent care, and Thrive got us in quickly. Dr. Beach and Tech London and the rest of the staff were really great and caring. They explained everything clearly and were up-front about costs (which, thankfully, didn't break the bank). Looking forward to take our little one back for regular check-ups.

My experience at Thrive has been consistently positive, the vets and the vet techs I’ve seen have been very kind and gentle to my pet. My only concern is their scheduling. Every time I go I can expect to be taken back at least 20-30 minutes after my appointment time at my location. But the care more than makes up for it.

Once you get past the horrible stage of trying to make an appointment, the vets and staff are wonderful and very friendly. The corporate side or administrative side of things is a hot mess! I've spoken to corporate office a couple of times and they have no idea what they're doing I'm guessing it's a call center in Asia

  • Alexandria Hogue

I’m new to the area and the reviews for this place were too good to not give it a go! London was absolutely great with explaining everything to me and how things were done in the office. Dr. Martinez was very friendly and communicative about what my baby girl needed and how to help her get to feeling better.

  • Drea M

I love Terrell Plaza location, everyone is always really kind…they get busy but always find time to greet you and that’s something that gets overlooked these days.. getting greeted. I feel comfortable taking my dog Joel there. If I have questions they have answers that I understand and take time to explain.

  • Tina Quintanilla

Took my dog Archie for an urgent care visit the other day and was taken care of by doctor smith and Ashley. They were both kind and patient with me and my doggy as were all the other staff members :) So if you're looking for great service and affordable veterinary care I definitely recommend this place!!

  • Izuku Dripdoria

Just wanted to thank the lady up front for getting our baby seen today. As for some reason the appointment we thought we had was not created by call center. Dr Richard was fast and friendly. Tech Mikey was helpful. And London from the front desk along with all the others we came across today. Thank you.

  • Vanessa Solis

  • ernest gomez

R ally like the staff, always friendly. Only thing I would change is the time frame in which let's can be seen. Appointments can be pushed out due to how popular they are. Either way for routine care we have both our pets here and will continue to go for routine care

This was my second time at this location and honestly, as long as they stay this amazing, I won't go anywhere else. My last vet had gotten so expensive and so pushy with upsetting that each visit was a nightmare.
