Picked up lunch and snacks on Sunday. The Smokey maple parsnip sandwich was delicious. I have tried almost everything on the menu (it is all delicious) but I hadn’t tried the parsnip sandwich. Will definitely be ordering that again soon. Looking forward to trying the new breakfast sandwich that is available all day.
A cozy little bookstore tucked in Tache Avenue that serves vegan and vegetarian food, desserts and hot beverages. Seating is limited but the food and service are so worth the wait. Great spot to catch up with a friend or cozy up with a book or special someone while people watching. More

Very Unique café! Lots of books to buy and a happy, upbeat atmosphere. Food is fully vegan and very delicious, went there for a coffee date and lunch. Had the Thyme burger which was fenomenal! Finished it off with the Date square and berry square which were amazing! More
Cozy book store with delicious vegan food. I had a black bean burger which I thoroughly enjoyed. It had several special sauces on it that made for a tasty meal. I also had a matcha tea with oat milk and was pleasantly surprised it wasn't overly sweet. More
The food is wonderful and the vibe is super cozy and cute. They've got a lot more going on than just great food—they're also sharing ideas about plant-based eating. This book, for example, was very powerful and further radicalized me to veganism. More
A good place to get cozy. Good vibe with books all around you which are also available to buy. Got a Cappuccino which was definitely too bitter! Good place to visit if you want to relax or catch up with a friend. Not so sure about the coffee. More
All around outstanding space, I got the burger on gluten free bread and let me tell you, best damn burger I have ever had! My partner got the southwest fried tofu sandwich and said it was amazing also (as a meat eater), perfectly seasoned
Friendly and cozy. Sat down for a Cronut and coffee and ordered a take out sandwich. Delicious. Paid by debit but didn't notice an option to tip before it went through so I owe them a healthy tip next time (no cash with me) they certainly
I liked this place. Quiet, friendly atmosphere and good service. I had a green tea and a muffin of some sort, I believe it had mango and banana in it. And then I sat there for two hours and read my book. I asked for more hot water for my
I loved this quaint little restaurant and book store. I enjoyed looking at the books and they had gluten free options and lots of specialty coffee and teas. And you can buy books there. Very small place only 4 tables and a counter to sit
I have to say that my 15 year old daughter was so excited to go to this book store. She is really into botany and gardening. She bought a book from 1981 for $7.00 and brought it home. Showing it to us, I turned the book over to find the
One of the best overall brunch experiences I've had. The breakfast sandwich and southern fried tofu sandwich were both do good we shared them both and neither of us could pick a favourite. Also got a bunch of baked goods to bring home,
So glad I found this gem in the city. It’s a quaint little place with a distinct rustic vibe. You have shelves of old books neatly arranged based on genres and tasteful old style furniture. The gentleman at the cafe was super nice and
I cannot count how many times I have had takeout and dine in at Thyme Cafe. The owners make you feel like it’s a home away from home with their friendly service and delicious food. I love all their homemade baked goods, tofu strips,
Beautiful, cozy, feels like home a unique place. The food is delicious, the muffin is the best I've ever had. But the most standing out is the friendly service. I highly recommend visiting and will visit again soon myself. More
Really cool place to have lunch! They have awesome used books (I couldn’t really take a look because I already so many books!) & the food is great. And the bread is divine (from a French girl that says a lot ;-)) More
I have nothing but positive things to say, the drinks were really good and portion sizes were surprisingly good. The atmosphere is nice and the staff is super friendly, safe to say we will visit again. More
Lovely unique cafe to get a taste of Winnipeg on our cross country drive! Great samosas and coconut square :) All vegan too! So nice to not have to pay an extra 1$ for mylk in my cappuccino! More
Owners are super kind! The atmosphere is so cozy, my favourite kind of old charm. Great music and book selection. The homemade pastries and dishes are incredible. All of their beverages are made
I had an amazing experience at Thyme Cafe and Books. People there are so friendly and the food is delicious. I found an awesome book too and loved the quiet setting. I highly recommend :) More
Full vegan menu with gluten free options. My smokey maple parsnip sandwich was delicious and I plan to come back to try something else before I leave the city. Ridiculously affordable. More
Cute cafe with delicious vegan food in St Boniface. It's a very small space where they also sell books. There are a few tables but it can be difficult to find a seat since they are tasty.
First time visiting all vegan and gluten free cafe on Tuesday. Oh those Tuesdays.... Coffee worth 5 dollars you get it for 2.50 isnt amazing to start your day like that. ♂
