Advantages n Significant time savings are noted by the users who use it in large numbers. The railway occupies a place of choice in the various means of transport of the populations of the wilaya of Tlemcen, which has a network composed of a normal track of 165 km. This network, crossing the capital of the wilaya, extends north to the port of Ghazaouet to reach Maghnia. At Tlemcen railway station, officials emphasize the importance of this mode of transport which experienced some development in the early nineties with the introduction of a Tlemcen intercity train. -Sebra ensuring, at the same time, student transport. This shuttle is very popular because of its economic cost compared to other means of urban transport. A significant time saving is noted by the users who borrow it in large numbers. In this context, joint actions were carried out by the municipalities of Tlemcen and Mansourah and by the transport department for the realization of railway stops, respectively, in Pasteur, Aïn Nedjar and Imama. The unfavorable economic situation of the last decade has hampered this development momentum in rail transport, in particular due to the freezing of the major rail link project linking Imama University to Bouhenak. This was to settle, definitively, the student transport problem and relieve land transport. The recent resumption of the Oran-Tlemcen passenger rail line via Sidi Bel Abbes augurs well for the revival of this momentum, given the importance of this mode of travel, knowing that the wilaya has an efficient network affecting key regions, including that of Maghnia. The latter impatiently awaits the resumption of the Tlemcen-Maghnia service, very popular with travelers in view of the ever increasing flow of road traffic of vehicles, all tonnages combined, on the RN 35 and the dangers that threaten them in the event of accidents. . The wilaya's rail network serves nine municipalities, including five daïra capitals; it has eight stations and twelve intermediate stops serving these local communities. Its economic importance was materialized by the construction of eight specific ramps connecting the network to the companies Eriad de Ouled Mimoun, Enof de Maghnia and Metanof de Ghazaouet. These “branches” on the rail network facilitated the transport of goods and various products from these economic units. Statistics provided by the Sntf of Tlemcen show the transport of goods by rail of several thousand tons, including 204,362 tons in 1999, which break down into 186,178 tons at reception and 18,184 tons at shipment. The most efficient stations with regard to the economic importance of the regions are, respectively, those of Tlemcen (185,057 t), Ghazaouet (18,824 t) and Maghnia (481 t).

Oui il ya un retad par rapport au taxi..mais si tavais le temps pr admirer les paysage paradisiaques de tlemcen..sidi belabess et oran .. Ne le rater pas.
