James was a phenomenal bartender and gave great service. However the hookah girl was very rude, dismissive and under trained. She seemed as if she didn't want to be there from the time we walked in.... Meanwhile, I could count 2 hands on how many people that was there. The hookah girl sat on her phone the entire time with her face balled up while letting her tables go under. We simply asked for more coal (in which it shouldn't be a request, it should simply be changed or asked if we need anything). She lack communication skills, and have a low understanding of service.... yet, expect a 20% gratuity. When I addressed my concerns, SHE LITERALLY WALKED AWAY. I've never seen anyone act this way in service. It's the rudest interaction I've ever had at a restaurant Once I asked for a manager, I realized he was the man sitting across the bar the entire time. His presence as a manager was not known nor did he step in to make sure the quality control of the restaurant was at its best. We stepped to the side to discuss the issue. While I expressed my concerns he LITERALLY called me aggressive for being direct about my service and the hookah girl. At one point he proceeded to walk away mid conversation. Clearly, he's in no position to be a manager. He's conflict resolution and communication is extremely LOW. My group of people are /were paying customers that ordered and drank without an issue. We are not peons from the street and shouldn't have been treated as such. The food was great, the view from the rooftop is amazing, I'll give credit where it's due. However, this experience completely ruin my night and my experience at TDH. It will be hard to ever patronize this business again. I've always thought and said nice things of this place but this was a disgusting interaction. Readers: please be aware of your choice to visit this place. Hookah Girl: lace front with braces and a headband Manager: Gentleman with locs Thanks James, the bartender for making the best of the situation C. Mar

I had a wonderful experience at this TDH location! It was Super Bowl Sunday and the staff was festive and super nice. I ordered the fried catfish, mac and cheese, collard greens, a strawberry margarita and a watermelon/mighty freeze hookah. The food came out relatively quick. The catfish was large, seasoned well and had a perfect crisp. My server brought out condiments promptly. The greens were soooooo good! I didn't necessarily care for the mac and cheese, but it was seasoned very well. I just prefer a creamier Mac and cheese with more of a cheese pull. This is more personal preference than anything because it was still a good mac. The hookah girl was very nice and attentive. I didn't have to track her down for a refill or new coals. She kept coming over to make sure that my hookah was OK and that I didn't need a refill on coal. The bartender was also a really nice guy. The only negative comment that I have is that there is no parking. You have to find free street parking or park in the lot across the street, which is $20. Just don't park on the street in the front. It's a bike lane and APD will promptly give you a ticket or have your car towed if it sits too long. Nonetheless, great experience. I would definitely go back.

This was mine and my wife's second time to eat here. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I ordered the brisket and ribs combo plate, and my wife got the brisket. We ordered the barbecue chips for an appetizer, and they were amazing! I loved the rub that was sprinkled on top and throughout. When my food was brought out, I noticed the ribs I got were from the end of the rack. Without saying a word, our waitress said she'd go to the kitchen to get me some better pieces (better ribs). Of course, I didn't object. They brought me two extra ribs, and they were smoked just right. She said that they were known for their ribs and she didn't feel right with what I had been given. I gotta tell ya, that meant a lot to me, and I appreciated her looking out for their patrons. Baked beans were delicious as well as the collard greens. The brisket had the right mixture of fat to lean but was just a little dry. I know I'm getting old, but the music was just a little too loud, and the tables in the booths are unusually low. It was resting on the top of my leg. I wish parking was less of an issue also. We circled twice, trying to find a parking spot. Ultimately, fast, friendly service and good food. Go check it out!

I would love to have given it 5 stars as my first visit was 5 star worthy however my second visit was beyond lack luster. They literally ran out of most items on their menu. The smoked wings (they are the best) were the main reason we decided to eat there yet we were told they were out of them as well as brisket, crab legs, smoked turkey ribs and quite a few other items. We could hear them saying new items they had run out of while we were eating. It became easier to say what they had versus what they didn't have. A staff member suggested they close the kitchen and just serve drinks. The dry rub wings we ordered we displeasing as the fries. The grilled zucchini and squash was delicious and my friend enjoyed the mac and cheese and greens. Their peach cobbler cheese cake will make you slap your mama, it is so good. We will probably go back but we will hit up other black owned restaurants first. We were truly disappointed... We were advised not to come back on a Sunday because what we experienced happens often on that day. If we do return it will be midweek. I almost forgot the nachos...we wanted beef brisket on them(which they didn't have) but got turkey instead. They were pretty tasty.

The service was great!! My server was Zakia(apologies if it’s spelled wrong) but she was very attentive, had a bubbly personality, and knew how to communicate with us. The only thing that I feel should be changed is the refill price of a regular drink. Why am I paying $2 for a drink refill that is coming out of the coke machine? I mean the lemonade wasn’t homemade at all!! And when I requested water, she said they only sold bottle water and it was $5. I feel as if tap should be an option. The information I received, not from the server was that it seemed as if the prices shifted after the remodeling. Well if the remodeling was too much, then that should’ve been waited on. Once I got home and looked at the old menu…I see that bottle water was $3. I’m not paying $5 for spring water with their label slapped on the bottle. A friend ordered a mixed drink…The drink was $12.. but why was the shot that she had $12 as well. The math just isn’t adding up! I really wanted to try this place, but that was my first and last time going.

I ventured upon this place and decided to give it a try. I visited the restaurant after lunch time around 2pm and there was no wait. We were greeted upon entry by the waitress. It’s a small restaurant but gives you super chill vibes and provides a sense of comfort. The bartender was my server and he was super nice and checked on us multiple times throughout my dining experience. I got the BBQ chips and added shrimp to them. They were good and the shrimp was even better, as it was seasoned just right, juicy, and plump. My only recommendation would be to add more queso cheese to the chips. I also ordered a Caesar salad with blackened catfish. The salad was a nice size and had enough parmesan cheese and dressing on it. The catfish was light and moist, side note the shrimp taste much better. I would definitely come here again to check out some more items on the menu. Service was good, food was good! Only semi issue would be parking may be hard to find, if you visit during busier times other than that no complaints at all!

The food here is A-1!! Everything is well-seasoned and delicious. I had the oysters and the grilled shrimp with corn and collard greens. I have no complaints about any of it. I was also able to try the fried fish and macaroni and cheese, and it was really good as well. The only hiccup was not knowing that we should have gone at a different time. It was a date night and we were looking for good food and a romantic vibe...well, there was no romance, but the food was good. It’s on the same block with other night clubs, and has its own club vibe on the roof. We were shocked to have our personal belongings checked and my husband’s pockets emptied before we were permitted to walk in. I get it. Those are safety measures for the party-goers on the roof. However, we weren’t one of them. Perhaps we should go earlier in the day to avoid the “club bouncer” treatment we received to dine there, but we would definitely return for the good food and the friendly service from the wait staff.

The venue was clean and empty. Staff nice. We had a group of sixteen. We arrived at 1:15 and Happy hour was at 2:00. I tried to order tap water but they don’t have that option only bottled water. A sweet tea does not actually come in a standard cup but smaller or shorter cup which I captured in the picture. Golly it’s sweet tea. The fish bites were very salty, Mac n cheese was ok and the vegetables was good. The concept of fish bites that has bones was a terrible choice. My other associates said the food was ok but doesn’t care to return. The parking only has 6 spaces ‍♀️. The food came quickly it seems as soon as your order is placed it goes to the kitchen. Our drinks came after our food. I feel they nickel and dime you. $3 for a sweet tea and you get half the average size and pay for any water you want from here. First and last visit.

While in ATL, someone suggested this place, and it was great. From the time we entered until the time we left, we were treated with respect, and they were very attentive and welcoming. I'm particular about my LIT'S, but the bartender did his thing, and I didn't have to send it back nor ask for something to be tweaked. They loved the burger, and it satisfied their burger craving. The upstairs was great as well. The shots were worth the money, and the bartender was also amazing. We will be back when we visit ATL.

I will NEVER go back to this place. First of all, the sweet tea IS NOT BREWED, it’s Nestle. Yes, at a black spot in Atlanta GA with store bought sweet tea. On top of this, they gave me the store bought sweet tea IN A SMALL CUP! When I asked about a bigger cup, the RUDE and super GHETTO waitress says “this is the only cup we have.” I then stare at a table across from me with bigger cups to which she says “Oh, those are To-Go Cups” Then, while we were eating, a guy runs into the restaurant, running from another guy. He holds the door so the other guy can’t come in. When the waitresses told him to leave he cursed them out and the spit on them! They then had to lock the door. To top things all the way off, they force gratuity. Don’t go here.

omg the Food is So So Goooooood.. the meat is just right falling off the bone. I mean U can taste the seasoning on the Ribs and don't forget the amazing BBQ sauce. They also have a mustard BBQ sauce....oh my God too good to be true taste so good on top of the rib something different but good the Macaroni & Cheese tastes like Grandma's homemade collard greens awesome not over Cook.. The cornbread remind me of my auntie Betty homemade cornbread muffins this place brought back so many good memories every meal time I really like the way everything was laid-back set up nice music Tv's everywhere the staff is very nice and polite... They also have a bar for those who are 21 and up I give this place 5 stars and most definitely I will be back... so if you're looking for some good home cook food this is the place

I used to love this place but this most recent visit, I'm good. I will not be back. Came on a Saturday with my husband and initially we were the only ones downstairs. Service was a little less than average. I had to call her over to place an order although we were the only guests. When my food came out it was incorrect. Lastly when I received the total of my bill, I asked was the tip included. I was told no but when i went to sign the service charge was in fact included. When i confronted her, i was told it I was a fee that went to everyone. If she would have been upfront that would have been a different story, not that I believe her. I was also informed that this location is turning into more of a lounge vibe instead of restaurant.

Parking is a joke! They only own about six spaces or so... we parked across the street, on the street for free- not a fan of paying $10 to park. The food and service was very good! I was looking forward to sitting upstairs in the open air but will have to go back on a non 90° day! The inside space is pretty small and awkwardly shaped, but it's pretty nice. There are many TV screens for sports fans. The dry rub wings were tasty! The cucumber tomato salad was tasty! My Arnold Palmer was perfect! The mac and cheese was a little peppery for me, but I ate it. The baked beans were tasty! The corn muffin tasted like cake. The banana bread pudding cheesecake was very good!! It was a pretty big portion also! Almost the size of a personal sized pizza! I will probably visit a few more times as long as service stays wonderful and food stays tasty!

Honestly, some of the saddest service experience I have ever experienced. There is an upstairs which splits the focus of all the servers. It will be 20 minutes without seeing our server. She did not check to make sure we received our drinks. There are no refills on water, as well as she asked us if we wanted ranch with our wings, and completely forgot about us and then we ate our wings without any dipping sauces. It seems that if the owner would like to make extra money by having an upstairs they should hire more servers to serve downstairs and upstairs instead of splitting the servers attention. It has been 40 minutes since we ordered our food and the waitress hasn’t checked on us once since she’s always upstairs. In addition, she completely forgot what sides I wanted.

Really great food. Got the wings platter with potato salad and Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese is amazing! Also got the burger. Tastes fresh and actually grilled. Really impressed with this place. Food came out hot and fast! Cassidy is a good and attentive waitress! Fixing my review based on experience afterwards. I left my sunglasses on the table and realized it once on the road leaving Atlanta. Tried to call restaurant and phone rang for a long time until no answer. Tried the next day, same thing. Sent a Facebook message to the restaurant with no response. On the third day someone finally answered and said there were no lost sunglasses in the restaurant. Disappointed now because of how much I like them, and they were brand new. Food was good but this left a bad taste in my mouth with management and work staff.

First time here, found out after leaving the GA aquarium and so glad we did!! Delicious food and the two barbecue sauces they had were so good! Atmosphere is kinda bar like with music and sports on TV but we had the family and it was fine sitting downstairs. If you wanna sit upstairs it's 21 and up. Food came out quickly. We had chicken wings, turkey leg, chopped barbecue, pork ribs, fried shrimp and catfish with fries, Mac n cheese, baked beans and ceaser salad, 4 waters...$110. Shout out Duke our waiter who was great!! You would miss it if you weren't looking for it and it's payed parking or street parking, so keep yours eyes open. I will definitely come back when I'm in town!

Update | I came back to this restaurant and found out that they discontinued the corn and other good sides. I was sooo disappointment because the corn was soo good. We came back to experience the rooftop and it left a bit disappointed. They gave us the end of the rib slab this time and it did not taste good. It was just fat. Everything was just okay. Not in a hurry to return. --- We were looking for food after attending the rum punch brunch next door to this restaurant on a Sunday. We were not sure what to expect, however we found one of our new spots! The kitchen was open until 11 and the food was scrumptious and did not take long. The corn was sooo tasty and is the best I've had since moving to the city. We definitely want to experience the rooftop and can't wait to visit again.

Let me start off by saying this place was on my list of places to go for such a long time. I went in on the evening of the 31st with friends to eat. The service was poor, we had to ask for napkins, and keep asking for drinks instead of them asking us about refills. The food took forever for it to come out after we had already waited forever to order. I ordered a house salad with grilled shrimp because I'm cutting weight and I absolutely regret it now. I have had food poisoning for the last 3 days, missed work because of it and have to seek urgent care in hopes they can make me feel better. I am beyond disappointed as a consumer and a business owner myself. I will not be going back.

Great BBQ. I thoroughly enjoy the brisket. The tenderness of the meat allows you to eat it without the need of proper utensils. Each piece has a good meat to fat ratio. Make sure to add some of there bbq sauce and hot sauce for a bit more of a kick. The collard greens was well seasoned and a personal favorites. The baked mac and cheese was delicious with the baked bits on top adding a nice texture to every bite just made me want more. The Hennessy peach tea drink was also great, to wash down this great meal. The vibe is literally like a club upstairs on the rooftop with the music pumping!

The rooftop is the place to be on a beautiful afternoon. Great atmosphere. An enjoyable selection of old & new skool music blurring through the space but not so loud that you can’t have conversation with your peeps. Attentive and friendly staff. Awesome $5 Happy Hour menu (12-8) is budget conscious & delicious. Now, the parking situation and neighborhood is why I couldn't give them 5 stars. Be prepared to pay $5 to $10 to park (shared lot with two other neighboring bars) or take your chance & find parking on the street if you can find it. The neighborhoods not the best so if your going at night best thing to do is pay for parking. All in all, this was my 1st time here but not my last.

Came into this location during happy hour . Arrived at 5:50 and was greeted by the bar tender . We placed our order with the bar tender food and drinks . 15 mins later someone else comes to our table to take our order . We let her her know it had been taken by the bar tender . 10 mins later the bar tender comes back to take our drink order again . We waited another 10 Mims at this point we’ve been inside the establishment sitting with no food or drinks for 35 mins. The customer service is awful . They are unapologetic and makes excuses that they are busy . Get better staff and management . This place is going down the drain. Go somewhere else !

First, parking is super limited, roughly 7-10 spots. It took ~10min to get a waiter to our table, another 5min to get waters, another 15min to get a beer. Took an hour to get our food. They were out of pork on a Saturday night, and maybe the pork would have been the redeemer of the meats. I almost always go brisket and the wife always goes pork, but she went chicken since they were out. Brisket was cut way too thin, had been re-heated, was super dry, and barely had a smoke ring. Chicken tasted like it was done in an oven not on a smoker and was over-sauced. For sides the mac&cheese and collards were average+ but the cucumber tomato salad and coleslaw were subpar by a long shot.

  • Xaundra Washington

Everything was great! The food, service, happy hour, sweet tea, and lemonade! Absolutely loved it all. Will definitely be back. TDH had one of the best Mac & cheese I tasted compared to other bbq places I tried. The greens were good but that cornbread ! Ordered the pulled pork plate and a half rack of ribs, sliced brisket sandwich (added pull pork to it ) , and two tacos. The music was jamming. The parking is kind of weird,we parked on the other side of the building where this guy was washing cars‍♀️.... definitely put on your list of places to go. Some nights they are open until 2am other nights midnight which is great !!!

  • Monea Taylor

Nice experience! -It took a while to get a server, the servers were too busy counting their tips to serve us promptly. -Once, we finally got a server she took out order and it came in a quick amount of time! -I ordered 4 ribs, baked beans, potato salad, and 1 cornbread ($13.99) The food was amazing! All of it was fresh and seasoned wonderfully! -The portion size was perfect for the price. I ended up having leftovers because I get full quick. -The pound cake tasted like my mother made it!! I would give 5 stars if we would have been attended to more prompt and if the A/C was blowing out cold air. It was really toasty in the building.

  • E Powell

So.. I wish I could give this 5 stars because I actually love the food and drinks here. I only have 2 issues. 1) They have a great happy hour options - BUT NOT ON FRIDAYS!! ..How do you not offer Happy Hour on Fridays?? … That was a big miss for me. 2) I love coming here and sitting at the rooftop at the bar but I don’t like the fact that 20% gratuity is already tacked on. … . So overall I’m conflicted.. food is good, service is friendly but those two things really bother me. Check this place out.

We came here because we were in town for work and we had seen this place on Food Network. I don’t even know where to begin. The service was terrible, the food was worse, and by the time we finished eating, we were the only people left in the restaurant. The brisket was a chewy salt bomb. Turkey ribs were so dry that I couldn’t swallow them without a sip of water. The spare ribs, mac & cheese, and collards were edible, but nothing special. They also add a 20% gratuity to the bill that they do not deserve. What an awful experience. This place needs Jon Taffer.

I can here after work for some drinks about 6 pm. I went to the rooftop bar. The food was pretty good. I got smoked wings and sliders. It was less than $30. The servers were pretty and really friendly, which isn't a combination you find along of places. The service was pretty good. We were the only people there, so the servers were just relaxing, so we had to call on them when we needed them. I would definitely come back here.

Food was great, with large portions. The dry rub wings were delish. My only problem was when the homeless woman came in and sat beside our table. She begged us for money, then a worker came over and asked her what she wanted. She stated "the usual" and named her dish. While the woman waited for her food, she continued to beg us for money and jumped in our convo. When she left, we spoke to the manager and commended him for wanting to help the homeless, but suggested that he have them come to the back door and not around patrons. He denied that they do that (???). I would not go back, but the wings were good.

I know.the location is the most pleasant but for a street guy to come inside restaurant and spit at waitress was totally not on my eating out plan. Also asked for a bigger cup of the store bought sweat tea served at this black establishment was told no bigger cups. Although she just gave 2 bigger cups (to-go cups) to her friends. Anyway I always like the food here but this go round I am hesitant on going back ever again.

The Turkey Leg was great, the Pulled Chicken was mediocre. The sides (macaroni & cheese & baked beans) sucked! My girlfriend took one bite & pushed them away. The service was mixed. The waitress studiously ignored me after I tipped her 30% on a to go order. The bartender was the one who went into the kitchen & brought my food out when I finally asked about it after waiting a ridiculously long time for such a simple order. Attention if I could give 0 stars I would!! This isn’t for the day shift strictly night shift. I ordered my food off Uber eats and when I received it, multiple of my items were missing my wings were shorted. It was packaged horribly and the sauce from my peach cobbler was everywhere on the boxes it was just horrible. And when I called in I got left on hold for 30 minutes and heard them speaking, laughing and playing music in the background. I am utterly disgusted with this place.

We came here after a late woke meeting, and their kitchen had already closed, but Monisha was incredibly kind and allowed us to still dine in. She was so sweet and attentive, and very knowledgeable about their menu. Which takes me to their food. Some of the best barbecue I’ve ever had, not exaggerating. Had the dry rub wings and the spareribs, highly recommend them both.

I just ordered from here, November 20th, 2023, via Uber Eats. I ordered a pulled BBQ sandwich fries and baked beans with a brownie. I get my food, and there's no brownie, and my pulled pork sandwich is just two pieces of toasted bread. Who sends an order out without verifying that everything that the customer ordered was there. I've ordered here before, and the food was good, but I am so done with local restaurants' inability to be consistent with their service. I want the same quality of food and service each time, not haphazardly.

Ordered off of Uber Eats. Brisket was dry. Ribs not pull off the bone. Pulled pork extremely too salty. Mac and cheese is good, collards okay, corn bread muffins very sweet. I also ordered potato salad and received potato chips instead… not the same. Overall, very underwhelming. For the cost of the meals, the food should be right and potatoes salad should not be replaced with fried potatoes. I will not order again.

Went for dinner on a Saturday around 7pm. Parking was horrible. Greeted immediately and we chose to sit upstairs in the patio area. More of a bar feel, played loud music. Bartender was AMAZING. Our service on the other hand was horrible. She literally brought us our food and sat down at the bar and started smoking hookah. We had to ask the bartender for service. Food was mehh at best. They were out of pulled pork and pulled chicken. The mac and collards were good. Brisket was very dry and tough. Portions of meat were very small for the price.

My experience was nothing short of amazing. I am so shocked that I didn’t know about this gem earlier, but I am so glad I was recommended to go here! Food was AMAZING! Not your regular soul food spot that just makes the regular grandma-like recipes. I could slap somebody about the zucchini & and squash medley and those turkey ribs I felt FULFILLED when I left. Rooftop is amazing, with a nice view of the city. They also have great Happy Hour specials too. Management, Chef, and the Staff were very polite. Can’t wait to get back there!

  • Brittani Mannings

Drinks were ok and the food was pretty good as well, their mustard bbq sauce made the smoked chicken wings extremly tasty. The mac and cheese was creamy, how i like it. The downstairs area is small and tables are really close together. Our table was particularly unbalanced, wobbly, and directly in the walk path, so it was a little annoying. A homeless man also popped in to make a couple of very loud "announcements" which was a little unsettling. Other than that i would go back and try their other menu items as well as the outdoor patio.

This restaurant was AMAZING!!! I recommend it to everyone. No one in our party had any complaints. We had the grilled shrimp, BBQ ribs and whiting, with mac'n cheese, grilled veggies, and salads. EVERYTHING to include the salads were seasoned to perfection. You need no additional sauce nor seasonings. I had the ribs and didn't bother to add any sauce. I also had the banana pudding cheesecake pictured and loved it. Sorry I made a video as opposed to taking a picture of our other food. You will enjoy yourselves and the atmosphere.

  • Chinaro Chukwu

Now, the food is really delicious! Taste just like grandma's cooking. Really well seasoned and cooked just right. The customer service is really good. You're not waiting a long time for someone to acknowledge you and the food comes out relatively quickly. My only complaint is the size of the restaurant. It can feel a bit cramped on busy days. Also, there isn't enough free parking. You may need to park on a side street and walk over. Other than that, it was a great experience.

VISITED THIS RESTAURANT OVER THE WEEKEND, IT WAS A RANDOM STOP BEFORE I FLEW OUT. BEST DECISION MADE EVER!!! THE SERVICE FROM OUR WAITRESS GARRICKA FELT LIKE FAMILY, THE VIBE OF THE RESTAURANT WAS LIKE HOME AND THE FOOD WAS BEYOND GOOD. I WAS SKEPTICAL ABOUT ORDERING THE GREENS BUT ONCE I WAS TOLD THEY WERE MADE WITHOUT ANY MEAT, THEY WERE A NO BRAINER TO ORDER. THE CATFISH WAS FRIED PERFECTLY AND THE MAC N CHEESE WAS TO DIE FOR. MY DAUGHTER ORDER THE WINGS AND NOT ONE WAS LEFT LOL. THIS IS YOUR SIGN TO STOP READING AND GO!!!!

Nice little bar with friendly staff. I would give a one star on the ribs they were horrible, my wife and I could not believe we paid seventy dollars for a half slab of leather tough BBQ ribs.

Brisket was not cooked at all, was hard as a rock. Everything was super salty. The staff left us alone for about 20 minutes, and disappeared into the back (literally all the staff members). Had high hopes, but not good food at all, and service needs a lot of help. There was no one in there on a Friday night, which was a red flag. Will not be coming back.

You cant visit Atlanta without trying the BBQ. This is a hidden Gem! I aye here yesterday and Im still full the next morning. I got the hanky panky drink it wasn't that good. The waitress charged me for the wrong meal then said it would take a few days for the money to show back up on my account. She also spilled a drink on another customer. Despite that she was friendly and food was A1. I would still return and tell you to check it out. The corn on the cobb was my favorite!!

  • Aries Young

I ordered the Rib plate and the Mac and cheese was like the last scoop you get which was not good, the ribs were OK and the collards were good. That damn brisket sandwich is a rip off it look like slices of steak instead of thinly sliced brisket, the cole slaw was a joke!! Never will I waste my money here again

Great Happy hour drinks !!!! The food was hitting !!!! The ribs were good but the smoked wings were banging . The mac and cheese surprisingly really good cause it’s hard to find a place with good Mac and cheese but they definitely got a 10 on the Mac and cheese. Cornbread was nice and soft and good and not hard . The greens had so much flavor in it . Definitely check them out !!!

I have been here a few times and usually have a good experience. Today was no different. Food was good, wish I would’ve gotten more brisket in my combo. Coming on a Saturday is definitely a different vibe than during the week. My only complaint and it’s not her fault is the drinks too a while to come out but the bartender was by herself. She made it up by making good strong drinks.

The food was pretty good and the Hennessy cocktail was really good. After having two and another drink I was tipsy. I ordered half a dozen dry rubbed wings and they were amazing. Some of the best wings I have had since living in this area for around five years. They remind you of what you had growing up. They're the perfect size and not undercooked. I also enjoyed the collards. The Mac and cheese was good after a drink and a half. I will definitely be back.

Another Black-owned restaurant refusing to offer water in order to over charge customers. I ask the management for ice water and they said they would have to charge me the same price as juice or tea for tap water. I literally was buying food and cocktails for my guest but couldn’t get an ice water for myself. I’ve patronized this restaurant for years, but this is my last visit over something so simple. I do not drink bottled water, so oh well.

  • Zach Gomolekoff

To start, the food is outstanding. The brisket was THE BEST I’ve had so far in Georgia. So tender and even had fatty pieces. I can’t decide what my favorite part was, Mac and cheese was perfect and the grilled squash was to die for. On top of that, my server Shay literally made my night. She was so friendly and helpful. Give that woman a raise! This is a must try spot if you like BBQ.

This has always been one of my favorite places, but today was the best. My brother and I went for dinner. We always have fun together, and our jokes are on 10. Our waitress, Jewel, made it so much better. She was amazing with service. She was attentive. She even joined us with our jokes. We appreciated her beautiful personality.

The last 3xs I attempted to cone back, they were closed but people were dining in. When a person came to the door, they said they didn't know the hours. Can yall at least be consistent with the hours on the site so that people aren't traveling across town for a wasted visit. I don't remember why I stopped coming before prior but this definitely is the reason the volume has declined drastically if nothing else.

I love Wednesday 10 for 10.... Peach panties for drinks .... The vibe is good. Nice happy hour with good specials. I've visited both for a lunch meeting and after work. Kind of small downstairs tho... The overall service is pretty good but I have ran into a poor server but management did a good job addressing the issues. They tend to be a bit slow at the bar sometimes, but overall it's a good time, great prices and good food

The whitening nuggets/bites were delicious. My Caesar salad was great and the dressing wasn't too bitter. The baked beans weren't sweet enough for my taste. My martini was ok, not the best. Overall, the service was pretty good. I was able to find street parking. If you go before 830p ish you can find $5 parking across the street from TDH. After that it goes up to $10 maybe even higher. The highest I saw was $10.

  • RealtorRob, Berkshire Hathaway Midtown ATL

After a busy morning showing a new client homes available for sale in the nearby community, I decided to treat myself to my first lunch at TDH. I sat at the bar and was given exceptional attention by the bartender. Drink and food was good. I’ll definitely come back more often. Stop by and let them know that #RealtorRob with Keller Williams Intown referred you. #RealtorRobsList

Wonderful food and service always friendly and there's even a Happy Hour as well from 3-7 pm Monday thru Friday as well I had a nice set of Pulled Chicken Tacos with a side of fries as well, the drinks, select ones are just $5.00 too, during the Happy Hours, which will help and work for those that enjoy this factor as well...

Service was very friendly and attentive! But food was just OK. Got the smoked wings, flavor was decent but they were far overcooked, the dry rub was good, the greens, left me desiring some FLAVOR, but I ate the delicious corn muffin with it too help with flavor. Probably won't return here but it was an ok experience.

The food was absolutely amazing, I've only been there maybe one other time and i just don't remember the food tasting like that. We had the catfish sandwich and turkey leg. Don't miss your blessing, make sure you try it. My only issue is that the bartender doesn't know how to make drinks well didn't know how to make a sidecar. Other than that i can't wait to go back!

Delicious food, terrible service. Not vegan friendly, though they have enough vegetarian sides for an over-priced vegetarian sampler plate. The fish Taco is nothing but tasty fried fish on a tortilla, completely bare. Waitress walked away mid-order. Took orders for some party members who just sat down, while completely ignoring others. Messed up drink orders.

  • TrapHouse Cookie Nails

Such a nice calm place. It was some what slow upon arrival which was a 3pm on a Wednesday but now at around 4:30 it’s swarming with people. The wings are great! There is a $2.00 fee for all wings or all flats fyi! The Hennessy swear tea is so good as well! There are several sides to choose from! Overall i had a great time and didn’t spend a lot of money

  • Johnny Johnson

I like how there's two different parts of this restaurant. The downstairs is chill & R&B music, the upstairs is more club like banger music where you smoke hookah. Also servers could've been better, when we first got in they took a lil longer to get to us. The food temperature could've also been better. I feel like it wasnt hot as it could've been.

Long wait for food and it was cold, can smoke hookah ($40) and drink on rooftop with music (nice vibe). Small area, must seat yourself (stand around until others get up) then wave a server down. Dry rub wings are good, server & hookah girl had great service. Gratuity added to all parties.

Great all around! Brisket...melts in your mouth with a great smoked flavor, greens were fantastic and the beans...yummy. Pulled pork was very tasty and a nice size serving. Inside has nice lighting and very clean. Our server, Kee, was on her game...overall great food and great service!

This place is a treat, either hanging with fam & friends or your special one. I mainly recommend the smoke wings which stays consistent, rooftop bar is very quaint and comfortable. Was excited on wed oysters..... but price and quantity isn’t worth it.

Here’s the $18 smoked beef brisket and $5 French fries which are made from a frozen packet. This is the most disgusting food I have ever seen. The place itself is in the most awful location I’ve ever seen too. Please avoid this place AT ALL COSTS.
