Constructive Criticism rather.... Not only focusing on the negatives, but Please, Please, Please do something about the heavy unpleasant, lack of air in the study room!!!.. I believe this can improve with a little more attention and control of the AC units from the librarians, Or just Open the doors and let some air circulate! The librarians could easily have a little more consideration with the users as they tend to be very loud when setting up their stations/desk/handing over to another colleague etc. This can also easily improve, we are here to try concentrating on our studies but with so many distractions and loud conversations isn't always so easy (and I am wearing headsets) Anyway, Nice, bright study room apart from all the above. But it could definitely improve if there was a little more attention to details. (I could happily and discretely donate a couple of neutradol gel for the study room) Thanks for being open on Tuesdays as unfortunately Balham's is closed :(

After the third time this happens I decided to write a review. Tooting Library is an amazing space for kids and adults; all librarians have always been nice and friendly with all kind of requests except for one male employee who keeps being rude and totally unfriendly. Is not about having a bad day, he is always like that, treating anyone in front of him like a stupid. If you have a job and you interact with people, you need to expect questions and you should be polite enough to answer in a professional way. I am sorry that this really ruins the atmosphere of the library and makes me feel unconfortable every time he is working there. I forgot to get his name but I think is easy to understand who he is. Please, the supervisor there needs to have a chat with him!

I have had a good experience with ordering and reserving items. This library hosts great kids activities and my children especially enjoyed the murder mystery adventure for which they won certificates and medals which was a nice touch. In collaboration with their school they host many activities as well. Quite a spacious layout. The only reason for 4 star is that the centre has struggled with squatters outside who also use the toilets inside regularly.

Tried to purchase the local parking parking permits here and the staff were incredibly unhelpful. Told me that the "system is turned off half an hour before closing time" which is not something that I was ever made aware of. They offered no apology for the inconvenience caused and were very rude. In previous visits the process has been tedious and very time consuming. Seriously need to reconsider the whole process.

Excellent help from the staff team here today and yesterday. Came in to use the computer suite and needed to print out quite large documents and I had lost my membership card but this wasn't a problem as I had other ID on me so a replacement was then issued and off I went up to the suite. Great help here also and lovely people assisted where necessary. Thank you "Team Tooting Library"

Rhyme time at Tooting Library is the hottest ticket in town (for under 5s). Gillian, the hostess with the mostess, rocks out Mondays and Tuesdays from 10am for half an hour of hand clapping, feet stomping classics such as the wheels on the bus and sleeping bunnies.

This library is my favourite place in the area! I found some really interesting books about our history here. The staff is friendly and always smiley. It would be great if today's teenagers visit libraries more often as the most regular visitors here are adults...

The children’s librarian throughly enjoys singing nursery rhyme about monkeys and bananas. She even went as far as pretending she didn’t know a banana rhyme and then asked a POC to help her sing the song. Not sure this is appropriate.

The study room needs improving as its smells strange as for staff i think it friendly helpful staff would make it easier for shy kids to ask for help. All in all its fantastic place for kids and adults alike.

  • Jackie Middleweek

The staff were extremely helpful & I was very impressed with the knowledge of both the young ladies who assisted me as I am not very good at working out how to print documents & tickets.

  • Sarah Kavanagh

Calm and welcoming environment with knowledgeable staff. Lovely preschool singing sessions and holiday activities for kids of all ages. My two boys love coming for a browse!

  • Hadi Rizvi

4 stars for the children's area. It hasn't got that same unique feel or set-up from when I would visit as a kid, but my son enjoys our visits and the reading time sessions.

  • Sandeep Kumar

Lovely place. I spent lot of time here consuming information. Staff is definitely rude and need to improve their robotic attitude towards visitors.

not the best could be better. customer service was not that good and i felt a bit upset but it’s ok it was resolved. Still could’ve done better.

Rhyme time is amazing- I would appreciate when singing baa baa black sheep, if other colours were sang; baa baa blue/white sheep.
