This is the 7th time I have gone here and called 30 mins before the posted closing time. They close early and are rude on the phone. My boyfriend was on his way there and I called 20 mins before closing saying he was on the way. The person who answer the phone was very rude and said he had some time but he had to hurry as they close at 12 on the dot. Well my boyfriend got there 15mins early and then called to tell me they were rude to him to and said they closed at 11:30.even after I called...dont shop here the alcohol is always warm and overpriced and the service sucks.

This place will absolutely rip you off if they can. I bought a 2L bottle of Coca Cola here because it was on my way home. The price tag in the cooler said it cost $3.33. Expensive but it was convenient so whatever. I go to the counter to pay and the guy charges me $3.75. There is NO WAY the GST would come to $0.40 on a $3 purchase. It would actually be $0.15. It's not like this is a lot of money. But it IS a huge scam and definitely illegal. I wouldn't be surprised if they were doing this to everyone who shops here.

I have been coming to this store for the last 8 years and I must say the staff is amazing. They have greeted me with kindness and respect and have made my liquor purchasing experience amazing. They have an amazing selection of beers and wines and the price is very reasonable considering the fact there right in the hub of Whyte Avenue. The owner of the liquor store is in sometimes day to day but hes very amazing as well, such a humble guy to be around. This store deserves a 10 star rating!

BE AWARE!!!! of your total purchase when you get to the cash at (Tops Liquor) 10768 82 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T6E 2A8 I was overcharged on a bottle of rum today, Feb 7,2021..which the guy behind the counter defended.. saying it was $36.99 when the sticker said $30.99...And then after checking his computer,(he said "oh,sorry,what got scanned was an other bottle of rum that was $36.99").. He was defiant until I called out the $30.99 price..

The staff at tops are exceptional, even on the days that a cold beer is needed to make 24 hours seem worthwhile, I walk out of the place with a smile simply with how “mom and pops” it feels. Best deals on whyte ave by far, and a fantastic selection. Thanks for all the good times guys, even though I’m moving, I may still make the trek to satisfy any boozy needs I may have

I have been a regular customer for several years and the prices and service are usually adequate. Today (Dec 21, 2014) It smelled like cheap cigarette smoke that I found extremely offensive and made my girlfriend sneeze the whole time. I will never be back as there is a similar liquor store a block away and an excellent one two blocks away.

Nice liquor store in a convenient spot. Despite being on the smaller side there is a lot of selection. Service was quick and the gentlemen working was friendly. Only downside is that the place lacks clear shelf labels and sometimes it feels as if you must guess that the label is for the product that is sitting there. I will happily return.

I get to meet the owners and they were good to me and sometimes I was always a little bit short and they help me out so that do you understand the sun's your excellent service willing to help me and plus you give me little treats on the side and shirts and cups and all that other stuff good service appreciate going there

My go-to place for liquor. Always have the best variety and prices of liquor on whyte. Friendly staff and best part is that they are well versed with all kinds of liquor so they come up with the best suggestions for the confused mind. Does justice to its name as it is the Top liquor store out here …

TOPS FOOD STORE are credit card stealing thieves. Used a fresh card here, which ended up being used by "someone" for a illicit purchases of thousands of dollars. They must be using card scanners on their customers. PLEASE do not use these people, i'm fighting to get my money back with my CC company.

This place is exceptional for sure I accidentally left my wallet on the counter when I came and back to get it everything was in my wallet excellent service all the time knowledgeable about their products thank you so much again for being great

I'm not too sure if the employees really care.They don't look up, say thank you and coming home late at night one evening two TOPS employees were leering outside the doorway with a real menacing look in their eyes. Will not be back... ever.

Fabulous options and knowledgeable staff. One of the best suggestions i got for liquor. They suggested me options according to my taste profile which they built in real-time. Highly recommend to go to this store for any kind of liquor

These guys have pretty good prices and decent hours, always been nice to me. Nice to have a convenience store next to it, and across the block, so it makes a great stop and go if you're in the Whyte ave area. Would recommend them!

Very rude, called to double check closing time they said midnight, got there at 11:45 and they told me they closed at 11:30. Was very rude when I brought up how I called and how online it says midnight. 10/10 would not recommend

It is a small liquor store on White Avenue there is a convenience store that is connected to it so it's kind of all in one shopping they have a good selection of hard liquor wines and beer and the prices are very reasonable.

The convenience store and liquor store both have horrible service. The owners think everybody is stealing or going to rob them. They also are very very stingy and don't offer any sort of discounts to loyal customers

Unbelievable customer service, man at the front went above and beyond for me! They have an amazing selection! Lowest prices anywhere on whyte ave! Make the extra 2 mins drive and go to Tops Liquor on Whyte!

Always smells like stale cigarettes and the employees don't like to wear masks. Otherwise probably the cheapest liquor around whyte Ave. Beer selection is minimal if you're looking for craft or local beers.

I live near by this store and after I started liking reign sour apple energy drink I asked the cashier if there was a way to get it and next day there it was in the fridge. Kind and fast store!

These guys sent me warm beer via Uber. Total joke. I tried to shop local even though I know they have crazy prices, then I get warm beer. Zero stars. Done with them.

Grungey and grimey. Just like most liquor stores in Alberta. This one is attached to a corner store as well.so you can get your smokes and beer in one spot.

Good place to buy drinks and affordable price. The staff is so friendly. There are two guys named Shubham and Nitin they are so friendly and helpful
