So disappointed by this police division and the domestic violence "help" they promised to provide.. I regret ever involving the police or asking for help in the first place. Initially I had so much hope because I had nobody else to help me but I felt strung along with victim services that they connected me with... I was never given a proper solution and told my services have been ongoing too long. I am now facing risk of becoming homeless because I wasn't able to leave my abusive apartment since living alone is very expensive and I can't afford it. I am disabled. I feel like the trauma I experienced didn't matter and now I don't even know if I'll be okay. I feel traumatized that I shared such personal details about myself to not receive any help at all. I feel like a burden to society and I wish Division 14 never became involved with my domestic case because it lead to me being revictimtized and this time I won't be asking for help again from the police.
What have I learned from this experience? I learned that the police don't give the slightest care in the world about crime. Break and enter, trespass to property, vandalism, property damage, theft. You'd think the cops would be inclined to catch this person. But no... just fill in an online form, and file an insurance claim using the form number. Oh, but we have the incident on video. Nope, doesn't matter, cops have more important donuts to eat. Lesson learned, crime is of no importance to police and one can break into garages, and smash as many car windows as they want without any care of being pursued. To serve (the tickets to hard working citizens) and protect (the criminals from prosecution).
Hi, I experienced a petty theft out of my vehicle on Monday. (My own fault really for leaving things on the seat in Downtown Toronto. ) I didn't think anyone would follow up on my report, but I was nicely surprised when Officer Ramos (9751) called to clarify the report and give me directions to the next steps in the process. He was pleasant on the phone and easy to deal with. I still highly doubt I will get my stuff back, but I appreciate the effort the 14th division put in. Regards, TM
Called 911 and requested immediate assistance from TPS because I had a customer in my store being extremely aggressive towards me and other customers. He refused to leave for a solid 10 minutes. I called TPS at 1:30 and it's been 2:30 now and no one is here. To protect and serve :) Glad to know that I have to deal with aggressive people who could be armed by my self and risk getting prosecuted if they get injured on my property because TPS sure as hell won't come. Great job guys!
Walking with my 2-year-old son, I saw a couple of cop SUVs in Fort York and decided to see if they had a second to wave to the little guy. They were really friendly, and even put on the lights for him. One said that he wanted to become a police officer to be a part of the community and invited us to 14 division to take a look at the cars etc. Very nice representation of the police force in Toronto. Thank you guys and gals for being so kind.
Me opininion about 14th division certain police officer using "Scary tactical technic" like PC Rennie Kai ....You tell her your opinion and she Searches the database ....for what reason ...she wants to spread news with her very shady back rounds Hungarian friends ...She should be FIRED from the Toronto police department ... Who the hell is she ??? This is Canada PC Kai we don`t live in Hungary !!!!! Making bad name for 14th division ..
You know that justice, or the system, is questionable, or doubtable, when you show up(at a POLICE STATION) and find the door is closed, and the women setting in a distance, looking at you as, what is up with this guy. And when you come again after an hour or so, you see another guy, from the same distance behind the glass, telling you with a sign language to go away?!
Personal belonging taken out of my room at 950 king April 2016; not convicted of a crime; cannot get these belongings back and i am poor, the police officer that did this was switched from 52 division to 14th, also he went into room 62 at 942 king without search warrant and took stolen merchandise out of room that case was thrown out of court , A.K
I worked here in the early 90s and all I can say without going into too much detail is, one of the worst experiences of my life working here! unbelievable amount of unprofessional behavior and antics that if I went into detail would make anyone question the types of people that are being paid to protect and serve !
As a cyclist or "vulnerable driver" I don't feel protected by the police services of this city. A driver can kill me and get away with a fine of ~$1000. I should assume that drivers won't think of me when pulling out of a parking spot and that cops won't defend me in such a situation.
These officers are hardworking, helpful and courteous to local residents. Unfortunately they are extremely busy and the staff is limited in their resources given their volume of work. They definitely need a bigger budget to help tackle organized/multi division crimes
Worst cops are here, most of them member of criminal organization Working directly with Thief who are civilian and members of Community Watch ...they basically work for insurance companies and lawyers to TARGET their parties before court with nuisances.
I went to the station with a question regarding a car accident and insurance conflict. The female officer there was very helpful and gave me additional information and suggestions on what I should do for my case.
Was on hold for almost 10 minutes trying to get the police out to deal with someone who was threatening the public (they never answered). I guess they were too busy trampling people with horses.
My friend lost a wallet last night so came to make an report. Officer R. Robertson listens to what happened and gave me a solution. Thank you for being kind and helpful officer!
They were very gentle when they handcuffed me. Also the patrol vehicles were very comfortable and roomy. Overall great experience 100% would get arrested again.
The police officers here likes to waste people time. I've got here at 4:15 pm and it's now 5:20 pm and I'm still waiting to get my finger prints done.
Not good police station no body help the people I whit 2 hours for fingerprints and no body help me …
The staff was fair. However I would recommend some extra pillows and a blanket. A shower would be nice.
Very understanding and compassionate...even if one's having a bad day.
Bring back the 90's 14 division please. 45 Windermere unit 6
