I went with my wife to grab some drinks. She typically doesnt bring her wallet since we were only shopping. I was not aware of the policy that all people in line had to ID. The manager was asked to come and refused to entertain photos of her ID, and even a physical provisional license given by the state(cause no picture). On top of that the manager was rude, gave no apologies on the policy. He also treated us like we were in the wrong and said that if I try to come back alone, they have camera footage. All in on, the policy is very inconvenient and not applicable to state law(where the person paying needs an ID). The manager just acted liked he was on a power trip. Not a good experience. The selection is great, but lots of private labels. Its better to support a local liquor business than this chain.

Great store and everyone is super helpful and knowledgeable. It can just be a little difficult to find some one to get help from sometimes but as soon as they notice you need help, they are on it! If you've never been there before, whatever type of alcohol you're looking for, look for the yellow/beige type colored tags that say "spirits direct". These tags indicate that the item is solely available through Total Wine and that the store has purchased a boatload of that booze so they can offer it at an incredible value for the price! You can get 20 and $30 bottles of alcohol that are in comparable quality of brands/distilleries to to three times that price range easily! Their group ID policy is ridiculous. They literally monitored me and my wife who didn’t bring ID with her and headed back to the car while I went to the cashier. The manager went straight to me said I couldn’t buy anything for 24hrs. They just arbitrarily tell who is together with your group by seeing you walk in together into the store. If they really want to impose not selling alcohol to minors, they should really check your ID when you enter the store, rather than let you waste the time it the store find what you need then be told you can’t buy anything at the cashier. Finally, if you really don’t want to let minors consume alcohol, why not stop selling alcohol?

Not much to say, it's a consistently good store with a good stock and helpful employees. One note I will make: They are VERY strict about carding every single person in your group even though this isn't required by law, and if anyone is under 21 or forgets their ID they will not sell to you even if that person leaves. This happened to me once when a friend came with but left their ID at home, which was disappointing but understandable. Their selection is generally good, and while they don't have everything I ever want, they will have it sent to their store if they can. I'm a big fan of this place.

I am a young woman almost thirty. When I come in with my partner (a man) the staff is nice and will ask us if we want to sample wine. As soon as I came in with my friend (also a woman) multiple staff members either followed us, stopped and watched us, or asked us what we were looking for- making us feel extremely unwanted and like we shouldn't be there. I have legally been buying alcohol for years. I don't know if it's ageism, sexism or a little of both. Seems like bad business to me to harass your customers like that. A simple ID check at the register should be enough.

Great selection but had a strange experience with the sales staff. First person was very quick to lead me directly to a bottle of wine that he strongly recommended. I was thankful and grabbed it (was delicious!). Second sales person led me to the exact same bottle (strange coincidence?) and then when I explained that I was looking for something else she couldn't answer any of my questions or give any further recommendations. I'm thinking that they weren't really knowledgable and were given instruction to push specific product.

Amazing helpful staff here. I started off at a tasting that I didn't expect they'd be having for a few beers and ended up purchasing quite a few items from recommendations the stocking employees were giving me. They all seemed very knowledgeable about the products too. One of them even found a beer I had been looking around for a long time to find! I will be back here whenever the need arises again to get some more alcohol that I can't find other places. Very well run and the prices are quite fair for the area.

Total Wine & More is a great place to buy adult beverages at a great price. They have lots of great gifts for housewarming parties, birthdays and other events. They also have a lot of random drinking "accessories" but you need to check out their clearance sections. Lots of time there are things you normally wouldn't buy because they are too overpriced but are on sale for less than a dollar! The staff is nice and helpful, so make sure to ask for help if you need some.

The total wine staff is very rude and racist. I been customer to this store from last 6 year, I always carry my Identification card to buy liquor. But from last 10months these guys are giving me hard time to buy liquor I m partially blind and these never treat me properly. This is very humiliating and disrespectful to me all the time. I will stop going to this store and also tell my known people not buy anything from this total wine store.

Excellent selection of meads and if you look kind of downtrodden the customer service is better than the normally excellent service. I was getting tips for good liquors from three different staff members all in the space of ten minutes in my grubby carrhartts and thermal underwear. The checker remembered me and is of a jovial and relatable sort. I hope it is because I made an impression other than buying too much alcohol for one person.

I enjoy perusing the selection of liquors and wines. The sales staff were very helpful when I was looking for a specific item. It feels a little shocking when you check out since the prices on the shelves don't include the actual amount you pay due to taxes. No gas station would get away with that! But I am happy at having the selection! Life is too short for the limited choices one has in a State Liquor store.

This is a well organized store that make finding thing pretty easy. Also, the staff here is very helpful. So if you're u don't want to look for what you want, ask them and they will take you right to what you are looking for. This store have a large selection of wine, spirits and beer. If they don't have it they can order what you need. Another good thing is they have parking that is easy to get in and out of.

wanted to build a case of wine. I hate the baskets because the metal handles make carrying more than a few bottles painful. saw a U-boat with empty boxes. asked an employee if I could have it and he goes "no. there are boxes at the front." end of conversation. walks away. for real? terrible customer service. decided to get wine at QFC and whole foods instead where boxes are less important to the staff lol

This is where I get all my hard liquor and lots of our wine. The beer selection is pretty fab too. Friendly & super helpful staff, awesome selection, and good sales! The tastings are always fun too. Love the sales and the good staff tips on the cards everywhere. They have all the drink accessories and lots of good snacks too. Love this place. Don't know if there's even a way to improve it.

Very good selection of cigars. Unfortunately after going frequently for the past 6 months and waiting for a new id they did not allow me to enter. Fairly annoying since the manager who told me I could not go in has seen me enter about 20 times now. Unable to make basic accomadations for frequent clientele. Will be purchasing cigars from local companies instead of a mega Corp.

Total Wine is a great place to get everything you need re: wine and spirits. They carry a wide selection of local products along with imports from around the world. Their prices are amazing and their sales cannot be beat in comparison to other stores, even ones like Costco. Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable; I never hesitate to ask advise or recommendations. Cheers!

Good selection, best prices. Completely subjective but I have never liked any recommendations made for liquor. I have made several inquiries about Gin Tequila and Bourbon. After purchase and taste I have regretted every one of them. Sticking with dependable brands I know from now on. But this is the cheapest (beat Bevmo on my selections) deal on booze in my area.

Always good service but today. The cashier is more interested in his cell phone. Didn’t ask if you need a bag. Didn’t ask if you have a phone number with them. Once payment is done he handed over the receipt and got right back to his cell phone like nothing ever happened. I like their service from time to time but today was really not great at all.

I could wander around here for hours, huge selection of boozes and wine, and they have kegged beer. Staff are friendly and helpful. Generous parking, too. Great selection with reasonable pricing. I like that I can choose between dozens of brands and origins of things I want. From regional and seasonal wines to gins and whiskeys, they have had me covered. Beyond shelf items are in stock and ordering online is simple and had guaranteed sometimes limited stock on these items.

The guy who helped me worked very hard to find a wine that would suit my needs and I never felt like he was trying to upsell me or anything. They also had some useful accessories at reasonable prices, and a LOT of selection when it comes to spirits. Mask wearing was kinda lax, but that's par for the course these days

Massive selection, knowledgeable staff. I had a bad experience with a cashier, who obviously didn't want to do his job. He told my wife that becoming a member was a waste of time and then when my friend who was with us insisted he'd like to set up an account, he became visibly annoyed. That was just 1 visit though.

Went in for a specific bourbon, Wild Turkey Rare Breed, which isn't always carried elsewhere. Unable to find it on my own, an associate eventually found it on an odd spot. Then the bottle leaks in my way to the car, but I was able to get a replacement right away. Good service and of course, great selection.

They have all the liquor and wine you want. They make recommendations to me all the time. For any kind of cocktail I want to try and re-create, I can find the liquor I need here. The beer selection is also very great. They always have staff to point you in the right direction. Pics are of their keg lists.

What can be said about my favorite store on the planet? They have a tremendous selection of all things alcoholic. I can even find some more challenging imported beers here. I love the online ordering system and contactless curbside pickup. They are always fast, friendly, and my order has never been wrong.

I went in looking for some specific, and came out with more. I'm a big fan of cider, but most PNW cider is super dry. Pineapple cider often does the job, but I didn't know Schilling made one. I gave it a shot, and let me tell you, I will be back for more. I'm also a Trappist fan, and love my gravity 10!

I had a great experience today at total wine in northgate! Frank was an amazing cashier and helped me with a payment issue. His manager was extremely kind as well! Everyone made sure I found what I was looking for without being intrusive. I love this store. Great prices, very helpful staff!

I have had generally good experiences with Total Wine and More, but they have missed elements on orders that were delivered, and they won't make good on the orders. They refund, but they won't make a second delivery to fix their mistakes. Be cautious about ordering online for deliveries.

This location is my favorite shop they have amazing huge selection great price and helpful employees. Just picked up Maker's Mark FAE-02 one of the almost hard to find bourbon at wonderful price if you like bourbon try this bourbon can compete with all expensive and hard to find bourbon.

Yeesh, terrible customer service. Called looking for a specific bottle, guy who answered just couldn't be bothered to be pleasant, said they're busy as if that's an excuse for being brusque. It really doesn't take much to not be a jerk, maybe customer service isn't the best job for him?

This is the second time in 2 months that a bottle of wine I bought was sour. This was $52 bottle if wine. It is a hassle to take wine back and they only will give you store credit. I do not recommend Total Wine. They should take better care of wine if that is their main business.

The merchant gets a 1-star for advertising fine wines but then selling a different vintages of the wine. They need to work on their inventory system and online advertising.

Holy sheep this place is huge. The only thing I couldn’t find here was The Bitter Truth Violet Liqueur. They have everything else, including awesome brandied cherries.
