"One of the important bus stopage in Kathmandu from where you can get tickets of tourist bus to go tourist places in Nepal, specially you can get tickets of tourist bus for Pokhara, you can buy ticket in advance from directly bus companies, there are many bus companies and many types of buses here, do compare the prices and try to buy tickets from company because there many agents in the bus stop and you can many agents in whole city, even in your hotel but most of time they ask for high price and as it takes 8-12 hours to go to Pokhara by bus, there are mainly two break for having breakfast and launch, and the bus take stops for toilets purpose, so generally you need not a bus with toilet which takes higher price and Please do not take food with your bus tickets, it's just fraudulent to tourist, they take unnecessary price for that, you can easily buy breakfast or launch by Ur self in the restaurants where the bus takes break"
"So, it's a section of sidewalk where buses stop"
"There are loads loads loads of buses along the road for Pokhara"
"Zorg dat ze je tickets niet afpakken! Bussen vertrekken als ze vol zijn"
"Be aware of these douche bags, they’ll just sit you wherever is convenient for them and give all kind of excuses, if you ask for reasons"

So, it's a section of sidewalk where buses stop. It actually stretches for about 100m of coaches from various operators so pay mind to where you're operator's coach will be. Your ticket agent probably won't know or tell you if he does know. There are a few shops and stalls nearby, and most will be open to buy drinks and snacks for the bus ride... ...as you're normally here in the early morning (I have been here several times for the Pokhara bus) You'll probably have a wait of an half an hour so take the time to stand about and drink ropey coffee from a nearby cart and smoke a lot. If you're here in the daytime it's probably too "smoggy" to smoke so don't hang about. What can I say, it's a bus stop...
There are loads loads loads of buses along the road for Pokhara. I'm not sure if all actually leaves everyday but a lot of them are leaving, at different times I reckon, 6am, 6:30 and 7am etc. If you arrive early enough, you'll definitely get a seat. But you don't know which bus leaves first or soon - they will just put you in their own bus. If you book in advance through an agency, it's the same price. Chitwan 850. But because I booked early the day before, I was given a seat at the back. Normally you can choose seat, but tell them before they make your reservation. They are super fast and they don't want make changes the second after.
Be aware of these douche bags, they’ll just sit you wherever is convenient for them and give all kind of excuses, if you ask for reasons. On the return, the bus may drop you far away of the advertised bus drop, obviously a taxi scam strategy where you’d have to pay for a taxi to get you out of the area.
When you go back from pokhara to ktm, the driver would throw the passangers into the unkonwn place (2km from the tourist bus stop). Following the Google suggested Route and consulting the local drivers. There may be 2 place of Parking lot, depends ob your booked bus number. Reaching there and ask
The bus stop is just the length of the side of road. There are about 20 different buses lined up. Our journey to Pokhara took 9+ hours, the road is an absolute mess at the moment so you will want a bus with very cushioned seats for smooth landing.. you will bounce in to the air many many times.
Kathmandu -Pokhara. The tourist buses are for 900, you can bargain for 800. Or take a local bus for 600 but from another stop. The departure of buses starts at 6:50AM, so come earlier. Road took us 9 hours cuz we had like around 5 long stops on the way for some reason.
The bus stop is actually about 100m of sidewalk with 5-10 busses, so make sure you're on time to figure out which bus you need to take. Departure time for our bus to Chitwan was actually 6am (reporting time 5:30) and not 7am as listed in de lonely planet.
Buses to Pokhara leave from here at 7 am. Everybody’s friendly and helpful. Tea and snacks available. No toilet but there will be a 10 minutes break after the bus left the valley ( 1.5 hours ) with a possible first view of the Himalaya range
We drove with de MnS bus from Kathmandu to Pokhara and can recommend to book this by MnS. The staff was helpfull and the buss leaves on time. The sofas are good and the climate as well. The only thing is that there is no toillet inside of …
The busses are stopped (parked) in a haphazard line on a very dirty road....difficult to find the bus.... Gives a negative impression about the capital city Kathmandu... Shows the weakness of the government in providing travel facilities …
I took the tourist bus to Chitwan from here. Departed at 7am Arrive 30 minutes early if your ticket is already booked, because there are soooo many buses. If you haven’t booked, I’m sure you can show up in the morning, maybe try for 6:15
It’s where you get the bus to Pokhara and other places… not obvious that it’s a ’bus stop’ - it’s just the side of the road. If you get there at 6.30am you’ll see lines and lines of buses, come 7am you’d never know!!
Its not a station but a street side where tourists buses going to Chitwan and Pokhara gather in the morning and take off around 7.30 am. However, it's not necessarily that in their way back they will stop here!
Good place to grab a bus, if going to Pokhara be aware that the journey will take much longer the the usual 6 to 7 hours. If traffic is good the best you can really hope for is 10 hours
Never take a bus with ‘’Open Visit Nepal’’ bus company. The service is terrible and the bus is broken. The seat recliners don't work. The staff does not listen to me and is the worst.
All the tourist busses leave from here. Once u get to this place ask any of the drivers to point you to the coordinator that will tell for which bus you bought your tickets.
No need to buy Ticket in advance just show up before 7 am look for your destination bus and pay the bus fee to the bus driver , 9 to 10 hours to Pokhara by public bus
Its prabably shorowakhuttey.. this is only the solution for toursit coaches thae departure for various toursit destinations such as pokhara, chitwan …
The customer service team is so nice and friendly. They leave extactly at the stated time. Online booking is okay and payment with cash is good too.
If you are travelling from Kathmandu to Pokhara, do take the tourist bus. Amazing view and great spots on the way. Comfortable and smooth drive.
Quick and easy way to find buses from Kathmandu to Chitwan right at the spot. Buses usually leave at 6.30 AM and arrive in Chitwan by 11.45
there is no bus station, just buses along a road. the "tourist Bus Park" could be better. but your bus is here, and this is what you need
Boardingtime 6.30...plebty of busses leaving at 7.00 to Pokhara and Chitwan... some foid available toilettes only in restaurants
Can't find out the perfect place for the parking. And does not looks like a bus park how to think it's tourist bus park.
It's not too well managed as the roads are kind of dirty but the buses are good ,neat and clean so it's okay ! …
You can get Pokhara , Chitwan And Sauraha tourist bus with restroom, delux seat and friendly service from here ..
Bus stop for Pokhara. Standard bus, which was of good quality can be bargained for 800 Nepalese rupees.
Presently, it has partly replaced to the Sarucotte (near Metropolitan Police Station)

Unmanged bus on road no polite no toilet washroom ...very bad
The bus stop has shifted to Shorekhutte from Kantopath area.
Not seen a stop. Just too many busses directly on the road .
It should be moved somewhere else and get it more organized.
