The town market is an everyday market with big market days . It is easily accessed from any part of Port Harcourt. The market space is not enough for traders who come from as far as even Aba to sell their wares that they call a street Aba line which runs from Creek road crossing Bonny street ,Bende street ,Niger street , Victoria street to Aggrey road. The traders have taken over the front of almost all the houses opposite the Market as the stalls are not enough . On a regular big market day like Monday, Wednesday and Friday, the market used to cover Creek road and Bonny streets but the government have used barbed wires to stop traders from obstructing the free flow of traffic on Creek road. The road is tared and without potholes but there is always traffic congestion due to the attitude of commercial bus drivers. I like this market because you can buy most food items at wholesale prices in small quantities. For example, a cup of dry pepper sells for #120 in most markets but you can buy 3 cups for #250 here . Same goes for Rice, beans, yam, dry fish and crayfish. The market has names of segments like Aba line, yam zone, cultural center, st Jude's, dry fish and crayfish areas.
This is a very big market in portharcourt. There is barely nothing you can not buy here just be asking questions as you. I bought a bag of crayfish here. Fresh fish, fresh crayfish and prawns at good price. Know how to price (hangle) because some traders if they notice you are a novice they will cheat you.
Very big market with awesome groceries. Items range from grains, cereals, fresh fruits, condiments and proteins. I bought really fresh prawns at a decent price. Its a sure place for every fresh ingredients. They also sell home tools, gadgets, cosmetics, hair accessories and so on
One of the most popular market in the city of portharcourt...Big and always busy. With the road completion by the current governor of the state, the market can now be easily accessed by vehicles.

It's one of the best markets in Rivers State. If you have not visited Creek Road market to buy or sale then your kitchen items is not complete.
The government needs to do more in the structure of the market. Very dirty market with sales being made on the road which is wrong
Well the market is too crowded, one thing is that is extremely duty. People should have a sense of belonging not government along
