YAY!! This is the best Trader Joe's in the city! I've been shopping at this location since the first day they opened their doors. I was one of the residents who was SOOOO excited when this location began construction because there are no other grocery stores in the area. The closest grocery store was Dean & Deluca in SOHO and, I mean come on! Who was doing weekly grocery shopping at Dean & Deluca? And so fast forward to now and I love how everyone in the store is aware that I am in the store every time I stop in to grab a few items. It's as if an announcement is blasted over the intercom, "Black person on the way in. Repeat, GROWN BLACK PERSON on the way in! Everyone be sure to watch her shop! She may buy too many sugary products." It makes shopping fun! In addition to making consumer decisions, I also get to run through the store in circles, in a lab rat, labyrinth kind of motion. Simply to annoy the people who are also circling right behind me in the same circular, lab rat, labyrinth kind of motion. So we all circle around together like a bunch of video game AI avatars where the game is called "Chase The Black Woman Shopping" and honestly, at this point, it has became really fun! :) Fun like in the film "Get Out" kind of fun! Where you smile real big while "ugly cry" tears stream down your face at the same time. There's no human rights issue there or anything. Completely normal for people to act like bigots in 2023.

Trader Joe’s Soho is the best of all the Trader Joe’s in the metro area. Everything is absolutely perfect in this store. The store employees are the best! They are all very kind, helpful, and make the entire shopping experience a true delight. My favorite are the prices of everything. The food is high quality, with a huge selection of organic, non gmo products. My favorite are the brioche French toast, or Belgian waffles are cool fall morning. Love that I can buy tons of fresh organic veggies to make my favorite green juice. Did I mention there fermented drinks, and kefirs have the best prices I have ever seen. I must admit, I have a food shopping orgasm every time I enter this location. You will not find a better grocery shopping experience with the quality, and prices than Trader Joe’s. The other chain grocery stores do not compare!

Good and convenient location, quick service, great assortment. Being a chain, we won't comment neither dwell on the assortment of the products carried by the store, for it is more or less standard for every Trader Joe's. We would, however, point out to the separate stall offering biodegradable utensils (forks, knives, and spoons), located by the store's exit. Starting from today (March 1st), every paper bag supplied by cashiers would necessitate a 5 cents surcharge, so the store's double bagging routine (for heavier loads) would result in 10 cents for every double-bag used. Bring your own bag with you. Please note that the entry door is only for entering, The exit features a separate exit door.

Doing an investigation down the block at the new Disney building on Varick and During I saw a Trader Joe's. After my work was completed I stopped in. A bit larger than 14th st, but we'll stocked and of course helpful staff. Picked up an intriguing item. It stated an Almond pastry with slivered almonds as a bonus on top. The price? 4.99 and it weighed a ton. I did pick up a couple of other items but wanted to get this pastry. Upon arriving home I put the kettle non and then my wife walks in and says I will try it as it looks so tasty. Well we ate the whole thing. No joke as delicious item we are sure to buy again Try it. You will not be disappointed. Manga!!!

Always a big fan of Trader Joe's since experiencing the store 30 years ago when I lived in California. But I wasn't prepared for this particular store. Very wide-open space. Plenty of room to move around. And no shortage of variety. Produce immaculate and fresh. You can tell someone fusses after it all day long. Great selection of meats, and other fresh foods. Another really good thing - check-out is in its own kind of separate area, out of the way of food aisles and main walkways. And there are lot of register stations. Really good updates to a traditionally great healthy food store

We visited on a Sunday evening a month after they opened. We expected the place to be really busy just like our neighborhood TJ’s in Brooklyn but it felt almost deserted and I could count the number of shoppers wandering around. We were done scanning the entire store and with our purchase in 15 minutes. The floor space is huge, which is a welcome change but they didn’t have some of our TJ’s staples. Some shelves were also near-empty and no one was re-stocking them. I do expect the variety of products to expand over time. Customer service was friendly as expected.

Absolutely fantastic! It's the best of all the ones I've visited this far. It's larger than the one I used to go in NJ, and it's very well stocked and prices are surprinsgly good and actually probably cheaper than other grocery stores in NJ. As always lots of own branded products. One thing I cannot get anywhere at this price and quality it their pea protein powder. For $11 it's a no brainer. Pure pea protein and nothing else. Also fruit prices are very competitive, and else. Super friendly staff, clean, well illuminated, convenient, fast ch checkout!!

Worst service I've ever had at a TJ's. The Australian-accented man that checked me out blew his nose and then without cleaning his hands grabbed my receipt to hand it to me while I was in the middle of packing my bag. As i neared the end of my packing, he interrupted me to suggest i move to some "tables" (that don't exist) to pack my bag... As i made my way to the exit literally 15 TJs employees were loitering near the door. Really poor service. The Dekalb TJs is far superior always friendly and efficient and kind, unlike this disaster of a store.

Love this location. I've been in at different points in the day (mid day is always an in and out experience, later in the evenings there can be a line but it moves quickly) and each experience has been smooth. I've always found what I need and sometimes things I didn't even know I needed lol. Staff are friendly, as per Trader Joe's norm. Shelves are always stocked. Haven't had an experience at this location where things weren't in stock, fruits and veggies included. Very convenient location, less than a block away from the E and C trains.

An incredible place to go shopping for groceries. I was particularly impressed with their affordable organic options and the wide range of flavors that you won't find in your typical grocery store. Whether it's their delicious frozen meals, fresh produce, or quirky snacks, there's always something exciting to discover at Trader Joe's. Plus, the layout and organization of the store made it easy to find everything I needed. Their private-label products and friendly staff exceeded my expectations, which keeps me coming back for more.

How amazing is the experience at Trader Joe Spring Street. I was alone with my 3 kids for grocery shopping and the service was incredible! Ninnie gifted my kids with stickers, they packed up all the groceries (and as some of the others crew members were free, they came and helped Ninnie so my wait time is not too long) and Ninnie even escorted me to the car with Karole and helped me load so that I could sit with the kids inside. Thanks again so much for the INCREDIBLE service

I am always impressed with the expansive size of such a store in relation to the short amount of time I need to spend here. I like to make sure I’m not here for more than 10 minutes or else I’ll buy half the store. I am always able to leave before 10 minutes regardless of how busy it is in there. All of the staff are freaking wonderful as well, I don’t mean to leave them till the end because they always make my day. Obviously middle and upper management is doing something right.

This is such a great Trader Joe's. Not only is the selection really great, the staff is so awesome! Everytime I come in they are super friendly and helpful. We tried out the home delivery they offer at check out- we got our groceries within the delivery window we were given and they were kept cold! Also, the berries we had chosen apparently had some bad ones so they took the time to grab us better ones and left a note letting us know! So happy this store is close by.

I love Trader Joe's, because it is great place to shop and to save money. If it is not Trader Joe's, I can't eat properly in this city. Great price for everything even organic food is affordable. This is the Chelsea store. I couldn't find an employee that would direct me to appropriate area so I walked the entire store to determine they didn't have the product I wanted. They fill two rows with product leaving the rest of the shelf empty. I estimate 1/3 of the shelves (dry products) were empty. Lots of bread and meats but they were not the product I wanted. Lot less cashiers than they had in past at 4:30 pm. Lot less customers as well.

I prefer this Trader Joe’s of all the Trader Joe’s in the city. It still has a town feel, even tho in the bustle of Manhattan. It’s bigger than others too so the madness after work (5-8pm) is still manageable here. No wine tho (only 1 in NY is allowed to sell wine and hard alcohol!) and of course, the staff are kind and helpful. I go out of my way after work to go to this one (I pass 2 others on my way home that are chaos).

This has to be the best Trader Joe’s for cyclists in the 5 boroughs. Easy to access and great outdoor seating next to Ducati bike shop. I come here often when I cycle towards Central Park from Long Island. I usually pick up a fruit platter for under $5, an electrolyte water, & a pack of Fooze balls. Pros: Clean, spacious, fully staffed (so lines moved quickly), diverse inventory with friendly staff to assist you where needed. Plus they have clean, operational bathroomS. Yes, that plural! More than one bathroom available for customers. Virtually a hurdle to find nowadays in this God forsaken city. Con: They were out of their famous, dairy free cheese dip. Better luck for me next time, hopefully.

What can you say about Trader Joe's? This most recent store addition which is located in SoHo has wide I aisles and is perfect during the pandemic as it never feels crowded during the day. There is always an interesting variety of foods some of which rotate seasonally so you always see new items which compliment the ones you are familiar with. The only thing I miss is the delivery service.

This new Trader Joe's location is a fantastic addition to the neighborhood! It is so wonderful to be able to stop in here on the way home from work to pick up groceries. Nearly every other TJ's is so busy I don't even bother going anymore. This one is well managed and still not as busy, so I'm so happy to have easy access for lunch and groceries again. This store is not in my neighborhood so it was my first time here. I will say that they have a lot more produce, dairy and snacks than the one I frequent. Overall, it's basically the same set up, just with more items. I went at 5:30 pm on a Wednesday and it was as not too crowded, everything I wanted to get was in stock and the lines at the registers moved quickly as well.

Today I was craving the Chili and Lime chips from Trader Joe’s, when I got there, they were sold out. I asked if they had any in the back and this extremely kind captain went to the back and hunted down another box just for me. I appreciate her taking the time to help me and having a positive attitude in doing so. I left feeling taken care of and satisfied.

This location is laid out so well. I visited twice in one day while in the neighborhood! Seeing how what I had gone back for was already low in stock and in a different place, I would say this place is quite popular. It also seems like at any given there will be some traffic but the wait on like was an average of 5 min. AWESOME for a TJs visit

I wasn’t a Trader Joe’s fan until this one opened. Aisles are wide, selections are orderly, staff is helpful. Tasting area is in the back to the left but currently no samples are being offered. In light of the “no sampling” policy, know that if you buy something and don’t like it, bring it back and you’ll get the value of the item credited back.

I used to come to this store often when my office was open. I came here recently after dinner to pick up some essentials items (aka snacks). The store wasn't very packed and the lines were moving fast. The prices seems on par with other TJ locations. It's a great addition to the area. The grocery store is also located near the C and E line.

This is one of my favorite locations in the city. It is less crowded. Clean, neat, organized. Staff is always nice and friendly. The only thing that I don't really like about this location is that on some days music is way too loud. I guess, they do it when it's to slow, so employees won't fall asleep. Otherwise, the store is very nice.

It trader joes in the heart of SOHO!!.. It's organized with a great flow. Well stocked with there seasonal products. Light selection of wine and beer. TIP: of you love trader Joe's wine/ wine prices. Go to the trader Joe's in union square on the east side. Its the only trader Joe's in the area to carry frugal wine.

I am out of words to describe what an amazing experience I’ve had at this Trader Joe’s. Jahaira Q was the wonderful woman who helped me out with some very important and life threatening allergies concerns but she knew all the ingredients in all my products. I loved the ambiance and they have made a loyal customer.

Typical traders Joe. Although not my favourite of supermarkets, I have to review it in comparison to other existing trader Joe's. Although far from the largest/ cleanest, it is pretty close. Large variety of items, plenty of discounts and great samples. If you like trader's Joe's then this is a pretty good one.

All in all pretty good. Generally the staff is pleasant and helpful. They often discontinue products I like. The weakest link in the chain is the fresh produce. Often I have to toss out veggies that I buy. Hate that it’s a plastic wrap heaven. There are some exceptions. The fresh English peas for example.

One lone masked cashierno visible air filters. Reasonably priced healthy grocer. Excellent frozen section Great cleaning items, hand sanitizer, &fun holiday novelties. Good wine & beer, water, seltzer selections .Some staff were unmasked active coughers. Yummy deserts & chocolate to try out

Love Trader Joe's and the staff is so nice and there happy wonderful products and nice staff very refreshing. One of my favorite things here are the chocolate department is fantastic mostly Belguim chocolate does not get better than Belguim chocolate. There nut and dehydration fruit also the best .

Good selection and cheap. There are certain important points they must work on such as packaging, so much unnecessary plastic. Vegetables and Fruit doesn’t last the time which it says in the package or they sell them just about days before expiration so be careful and read the expiration date.

The flowers here are complete trash, like you should be giving half price for the roses if they are braking down already! Got my girl flowers here and realized this is the 3rd time there are damaged roses… be very cariful in what you select. Other then that food here is amazing

Love this Trader Joe’s, it’s my local location. Have shopped here since pre-pandemic, however I was surprised to have a negative experience here today after well over 4 years of shopping here. A cashier named Skylar was cold to me and for the first time I didn’t feel welcome.

1st world problems: Sorry but no kimbab EVER. Also their power crunch protein bar is cheaper than the website itself.... but whoever restocked it opened every box on the shelves, so buying per box is annoying. Otherwise, great affordability given NYC cost of living.

I had such a wonderful experience at this location of TJ today. Their cashier Danika (please forgive me If I am butchering your name) was sweet and professional and fast and amazing. She made my day. Really happy with this store and definitely be a regular customer.

It is a Trader Joe’s it can’t do wrong! The store is very organized and pretty busy in the evenings. There are so many varieties of products. Will recommend if interested in trying out good quality products for a reasonable price. Love love their bread selections.

My favorite Trader Joe’s location by far! It’s spacious and not overly crowded or claustrophobic. Every worker is nice and friendly and service at checkout is always a breeze! I like that they’ve expanded vegetarian vegan and keto options always appreciated.

This new location is spacious and clean, with a large selection of products (both TJ's brand and others). Layout is great, and on a Saturday evening I was surprised to see so few people! Will definitely be going back if I am anywhere near the area.

It's your quirky neighborhood supermarket which offers a pleasant shopping experience. Doesn't stock everything, but it has all you need for healthy meals and refined pantry management. And everything that's supposed to be farm fresh is fresh.

I love this trader joes! It tends to get very busy on the weekends and some things are out of stock, but they always have a lot of people working to keep the shelves stocked and the lines moving so there is not that long of a wait to checkout.

Continually discontinue great products. No longer sell Carrot ginger dressing, kale broccoli crust, frozen Cauliflower crust, chocolate covered cocoa beans. All products that were out off stock often, so you know they were popular.

Typical Trader Joe’s. Learn their delivery schedule, because this place is busy. So if you show up right before a delivery a lot of the shelf’s will be bare. They run a tight ship though and in a good location.

I love this supermarket! The vibe is wonderfull, the people who work there are nice and smile all the time. The only thing that I alwys miss is cucumber regular :( but definitely my first choice to do grocery!

This is one of the best Trader Joe's I have ever shopped in. The aisles are clear and clean. Product availability is high, as is the product knowledge of the employees. I always look forward to returning.

it’s a solid TJ’s. My only complaint is that they don’t always stock in response to demand — you’ll see completely empty rows of frozen veggies next to rows that no one touches. But usually not an issue
