The quality of service at the front office has gone down significantly. In a recent experience, I had an appointment for a cleaning and called in to check on the date (because I had not been notified via email or text); when I did, I asked had their been any cancellations prior to my scheduled appointment (since it was about 8 weeks to get in to see the doctor from my original request). They had an opening sooner but required me to provide updated insurance information prior to the apt (not the day of) and because I had just started a new job, I didn't have the information. I received a voicemail asking if I wanted to cancel the original appointment, which I did not respond to and called back 5 days before the appointment to provide my insurance information only to learn the appointment had been cancelled. Without any verbal, text or email communication whatsoever with me as the patient. Then when I tried to reschedule, their next apt. was going to be in April - 3 months later. I actually really love Dr. Acampado and the staff that used to be there was amazing, but this experience is like none I have ever had with any healthcare provider. I will be moving dentist offices and they are losing 4 patients as a result. I would highly recommend that some policy is put in place where the office notifies patients of their appointments in advance, just like all doctors, hair stylists, (even schools) that send emails and texts in advance.

Highly recommended! Dr. Savage was very detailed in explaining everything she was seeing and doing, and gave lots of good advice... like instead of bathing my teeth in sweetened acidic coffee all morning, to chug it all within 20 minutes to prevent enamel damage. Then swish with water, especially if snacking between brushings. Assistant Elina is easygoing, humorous and patient while you choose a TV channel to help distract you while in the 'tooth spa' massage chair. She, Carolyn and the rest of the staff listen closely and make sure your questions and needs are taken care of, and billing is explained. The office is comfortable, fresh and clean, fitted with high-quality modern equipment and furnishings. Just like your teeth will be when you leave here. Good variety of magazines, too... love the Bazaar and Money. Not so much the Golf, but glad its there for others interested ;) Dr. Grace did a great job in choosing sticker resin to fill non-showing cavities, and smoother, more cosmetic resin for the front tooth cavity. The regular exam I had with her a couple of weeks ago was the most thorough exam I've ever had, and she's happy to answer any questions you have, also thoroughly. Again, highly recommended! Dr. Savage possesses every quality one would want in a dentist. She provides exceptional care for her patients while being careful, and understanding of each patients needs. I was in a car accident years ago which left me with many broken teeth. I came to her feeling completely lost and discouraged after dealing with many dentists who simply looked at me as another dollar sign. I am an extremely nervous patient and found she was the ONLY dentist that I have ever felt at ease with. She handled my case with empathy, expertise and patience. She assured me my smile would be restored and would look even better than my original smile. I put my trust in her and she delivered. Words can not describe how happy I feel to have my smile back!!!! Not only is my smile back, but my confidence is too! For the longest time I was ashamed of my smile but I feel so confident and pretty with my new smile. Dr. Savage exceeded my expectations! Her knowledge and expertise are simply unmatched! I highly recommend Dr.Savage to anyone who is looking for an exceptional, trusting dentist, or more specifically a skilled cosmetic dentist.

Dr. Savage has now been my dentist for over 10 years. When I first met her my teeth were a mess. I was clenching and grinding and causing severe damage. Dr. Savages time and effort helped repair my bite, and this in turn helped alleviate my migraines. She guided me through root canals and helped redo poorly placed crowns. Her appointments are unlike any dentist that I have ever seen. The hygienist take their time and then Dr. Savage come in the room and spends an enormous amount of time evaluating the entire mouth. I used to fly in and out of dentist offices, but these appointments Take time since they are making the effort to take care of any concerns or issues. I also wanted to comment of their extreme and impressive covid precautions. The office is always spotless, but once they opened up the office during covid, they spent an insane amount of money on PPE which helped make me feel comfortable and safe. I have referred several friends to Dr. Savages office because I am truly impressed.

I've been to Tranquil Dentistry two times for cleanings thus far and not only was it painless, but I really enjoyed my experiences! When you walk in the office feels more like a spa than a dental office. The front desk lady was friendly and called me by name. There hasn't been a wait either time. The dental chairs massage you and you can watch tv the whole time. The technology in the office is also state of the art. What I was most impressed with though was Dr. Savage. She explained everything the was doing to me as she did it and why she was doing it. I told her that my old dentist office made me have fluoride each time and she explained that that wasn't necessary. It would have been very easy for her to upcharge me since I was already used to having that service each time. It's so nice to finally have a dentist that I can trust and know is taking great care of me.

I've been to Tranquil Family Dentistry three times for cleanings and had a great experience each time. The first time I called as a new patient, they were able to get me an appointment within two weeks which was great. I've never had to wait longer than five minutes in the waiting room, or in the chair. The office always seems relatively empty which is a nice change from previous dentists offices I've been to. Dr. Acampado is really nice, and Beth is a great hygenist. My teeth always feel fine when I leave, which is great, sometimes at previous dentists my teeth would hurt for the rest of the day after the cleaning because the hygenist was so rough, but not here. I definitely recommend them!

This is a 2021 update just to say that Doctors A & S of Tranquil are still awesome and doing amazing work during these times. Truly outstanding dental care and I wouldn’t dare go anywhere else. Wonderful, caring staff! My wife and I have been clients of TFD for many years and just love the care and attention the doctors and staff give at every visit. We'd never consider going to any other dental practice. I'd say the primary reason someone should consider TFD is that the doctors are highly focused on the details and go beyond the norm to ensure patients are completely satisfied. There are sound reasons this great business gets great reviews - they're earned.

I recently switched to Tranquil Family Dentistry and was blown away by the amazing care I received for a very complex problem. Dr. Savage was beyond thorough and meticulous and could not have been more patient and kind explaining my treatment plan. In addition to Dr. Savage going above and beyond (she even called to check up on me the day after my procedure!) the staff at Tranquil did all of the legwork with my insurance company and was very accommodating getting everything scheduled. I highly recommend this practice (and it’s gorgeous inside too!). Great job Tranquil!

Having a lifelong fear of dentists, I had found one in Charlotte that I loved and had been going to on a regular basis for years. Well, when he moved his office to PA, there I was again in "fearland". Having read reviews of Tranquil, I gave it a try. Not only is it the most comfortable office in town, the staff really does get to know you from the first visit on. Dr. Nancy fit me in and got all of my work done in just two weeks (before I lost my insurance with my job) and made me fall in love with all of them. I can't imagine going anywhere else!

Dr. Acampado was very thorough. She explained each procedure and answered all questions. The office is conveniently located and the furnishings and equipment seem to be the latest technology. The chair even provided a soft massage while I watched TV on the flat screen in the room (helps to distract you if you're not that excited to go to the dentist). The overview of the treatment plan, provided at the end of the visit, was a nice service. The expected cost, both before and after insurance, was reviewed. I highly recommend this dental group!

I've been a patient of Dr. Nancy Acampado's for 5+ years and would highly recommend her to anyone and everyone. She takes a genuine interest in my dental health and makes dental work as pleasant as is possible for being dental work! The environment is clean and the equipment is state-of-the-art...I particularly appreciate the massaging dental chair. Dr. Acampado and the entire TFD staff always make me feel welcome, and I wholeheartedly recommend them for your dental needs.

I have been seeing Dr. Savage at Tranquil Family Dentistry since they opened. The practice has a very calming atmosphere and they are extremely attentive to their patients (massage chairs, blankets, bottled water). I have a little anxiety about dental work and their team is understanding and kind. I have referred several friends who also love them. If you are looking for an excellent practice I highly recommend Drs. Savage and Acampado.

Dr. Savage is without a doubt the best! She and all the staff at Tranquil are the friendliest, most accommodating people I've ever encountered in a "healthcare" setting. They are personable, funny, and treat you like family. As one who was weary of the dentist in the past, I look forward to going now! I'd give 10 stars if it were an option.

This is the first time I didn't totally hate going to the dentist. Dr. A and her staff are so caring and attentive. And the massage chairs aren't bad either :-) When you're getting a procedure and the whole time you're asked if you're OK, that let's me know how much they care. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good dentist.

Dr. Savage is simply THE BEST! She has been my dentist for over 20 years. Dr. Savage performed a difficult root canal on my front tooth, which had died and become black over the years. The crown that Dr. Savage placed on my tooth after the root canal made me smile with confidence again. Her skills as a dentist are remarkable!

Dr. Savage superior bedside manner & is hands down the best dentist in my opinion. Her staff is excellent. And I can safely say when Dr. Savage is out , Dr. A is a great partner because her bedside manner is excellent as well. I would recommend them for all families to go to.
