A number of years ago, I had to arrange the cremation of my mother. It was one of the most unpleasant experiences in my life. My husband of 25 years recently passed away on September 26th. I googled various funeral sites and came across Tranquility Funeral Services, Mississauga location. Right off the hop, this Service was different. They provided prices up front on their website. Fortuitously, they were close by so I went in the next day and met with Brittany. She was kind, sympathetic, professional and treated me with dignity at all times. She explained their basic services and exactly what the prices listed covered. She then provided other options that were available and again provided prices. These were all written down on a handout provided. She answered every question I had. She even provided comfort when I broke down a few times during this meeting. There was NO pressure, NO sales pitch. Brittany just outlined the basic services and the extra services they could provide and always, always, provided the price for each service. In less than two hours, we had made all the necessary arrangements. Tranquility prepared all the necessary paperwork that I would need to submit to the Government as well as the paperwork needed to begin settling his Estate. Brittany stayed in touch with me directly throughout this whole process. It was stress free. I felt good about the arrangements I made. I am very grateful to Brittany and Tranquility Funeral Services and I highly recommend them. Tranquility Funeral Services Inc. were great with helping when my family passed. Amazing professionalism and care was given, but they unfortunately were not able to generate a legitimate proof of death certificate the first time. Specifically, the certificate was dated and signed on a date before date of death. People rely on funeral services in time of need, and this is unacceptable. This causes a multitude of problems from processing their death. It should be expected at any Funeral Service company should be able to produce a proper death certificate but this unfortunately not the case. If leadership at Tranquility wants to rectify the damage done, please contact the remaining family.

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST SERVICE!! So caring, compassionate and patient! They helped every step of the way and everything was beautifully done. Although we found out about Tranquility after we chose another funeral service, we purchased an Urn through them after shopping around everywhere. They had the nicest selection and best prices on Urns and made sure we received it on time. The employees are very friendly and I wouldn't hesitate trusting them for their full funeral service.
