Title: Extremely Unprofessional and Allergy-Unfriendly Service - 1 Star I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this establishment, and I must say it was the epitome of unprofessionalism and lack of consideration for customers with food allergies. I visited the store after seeing advertisements for chocolate sauce, but to my dismay, they served Nutella instead. As someone with a severe nut allergy, this negligence led to a severe allergic reaction that has left me feeling utterly let down. First and foremost, the false advertising of "chocolate sauce" when they were actually serving Nutella is simply unacceptable. It shows a complete lack of transparency and a disregard for the safety of customers, especially those with allergies. Had I known they were using Nutella, I would have never risked consuming it and putting my health in danger. Upon expressing my allergy concerns to the staff, they seemed indifferent and uninterested. Instead of apologizing or offering an alternative, they simply brushed off my worries, which made me feel unwelcome and dismissed as a customer. A business that fails to prioritize the well-being of its patrons is not one I can recommend or support. Furthermore, I noticed a general lack of professionalism throughout the entire visit. The staff appeared disorganized and unmotivated, and the overall atmosphere was chaotic. The unclean tables and disheveled appearance of the store did not make for a pleasant dining environment. The fact that I had to experience a severe allergic reaction due to their negligence is not only distressing but also unforgivable. It is the responsibility of any food establishment to take allergies seriously and make sure their customers are informed about potential allergens in their products. In conclusion, I give this establishment one star out of five for their extremely unprofessional service, lack of consideration for food allergies, and false advertising. I strongly advise anyone with dietary restrictions or allergies to steer clear of this place. Customer safety and satisfaction should always be a top priority, and this establishment has failed on both counts.

After I kindly asked the selling man if the trudelnik that is currently being heated on the grill is really warm (after having some experiences already with cold and not very fresh ones) the man answered me - in a rude way that yes it is warm and was giving some sarkastic comments about my nationality and the warmess of the trdelniks . Anyway he claimed it was fresh and warm . I bought 3 and they turned out to be totally cold. It is simple cheating - by putting old trdelniks into the grill for just a moment just to mislead the people. Not tasty , cold but above all such poor client attitude I have never experienced . I am super sad as I love this city very much and such people damage its spirit . Very sad

Están suuuper ricos!! Me encantan! Ya es la segunda vez que vengo a Praga y es algo de lo que tenía un buen recuerdo, y por supuesto en cuanto me he encontrado un puesto de estos dulces tan ricos, he ido directa!! En este puesto, que está en Mala Strana, nada más pasar el puente de Karlos, los hacen rápido y muy muy ricos. Recomendable 100%. Las chicas que te atienden son muy agradables, y puedes ver cómo cortan la masa y la enrrollan para ponerla en las brasas. Me encanta!!

Wir sind in Prag nicht zum ersten Mal und haben hier jedes Mal gerne bestellt. Dieses Mal waren wir jedoch sehr enttäuscht, nach dem wir versucht haben auf Deutsch zu bestellen und diese uns leider nicht verstanden haben, haben wir es auf Russisch versucht, da es hier nie ein Problem war und oft verstanden wurden. Nach dem Versuch wurden wir von den Mitarbeitern darauf hin gewiesen „nur ukrainisch“ und wurden abwertend angesehen. Schade, dass man beim Versuch lediglich ein Eis zu bestellen so diskriminiert wird. Haben uns wirklich sehr unwohl gefühlt.

1st time trying a Trdelnik and it was yummy! You will find them all over Prague with different stuffing. We had the Apple/Strawberry and Vanilla ice cream. The Apple was like eating apple pie with whipped cream/the strawberry wax whole strawberries with custard and the Vanilla ice cream well was ice cream :0) It is neat watching how they make the vines. It is a very filling treat and if you walk up to the castle you can burn off some of the calories! It was busy but the line goes fast and the staff are all super friendly- Yum!

Après une longue journée de marche aux monuments ..un stop obligatoire et délicieux pour un Trdelnik qui ressemble énormément au Kürtõskalác hongrois et pour cause c'est une variante apportée par un général hongrois à la retraite (également poète et philosophe) nommé József Gvadányi. Il s'installa au XVIIème siècle en Slovaquie à Skalica avec son cuisinier transylvanien qui apporta la recette avec lui . Trdlo désigne le morceau de bois autour duquel on enroule la pâte. Bref... un délice..même nature!!!! Trdelnik de Skalica!!!

Ich kann nicht beurteilen, ob dieses Gebäck wirklich traditionell tschechisch ist. Es hat uns jedenfalls ungefüllt, mit Pistazienfüllung und mit Schokoladenfüllung gut geschmeckt. Der Hefeteig war jeweils super knusprig. Wir waren in drei Tagen nun schon das zweite Mal dort. Nachtrag von 1.11.18: Inzwischen haben wir Trdelnik in drei weiteren Geschäften in der Altstadt probiert...dieses schmeckt uns immer noch am besten, weil der Teig durchgängig knusprig ist und nicht so fad wie in dem ein oder anderen Geschäft...

Ho appena recensito piuttosto male il locale di fianco a questo, ovvero il primo che si trova all'uscita del ponte, in quanto sgarbati e incompetenti. A mia richiesta su allergeni mi hanno detto di andare da un'altra parte. Grazie a loro quindi ho trovato quest'altro posto un po' più avanti, dove senza nessuna difficoltà mi hanno informato sugli allergeni e finalmente servito un dolce tipico che avevo tanta voglia di provare. Bravi.

My experience at this heavenly place was phenomenal. Nothing has ever tasted as great as this, it was located coveniently next to the charles bridge where we could taste the explosive ingredients of the tridelnik which was made with love and great care. Nothing would ever beat this rare experience we had therefore making it forever memorable and lovable

Great place to try trdelnik honestly is good just plain but of course you can play with all the toppings you’d like. I went by with the caramel icecream whipped cream one. Good luck!!! ❤️‍

We’ve been there in the evening and unfortunately the Trdelník haven’t been fresh. They just get reheated - it makes them quite hard and you can taste that they are not fresh. I even went back and asked for a new one as mine was uneatable but unfortunately the other one was more or less the same. Quite disappointing!

Niestety nie polecam, zamówiliśmy kołacza z czekoladą i truskawkami, nie chcieliśmy lodów. Czekolady bardzo mało, w połowie już jej nie było, kilka truskawek, a cena taka jak za porcje z lodami. Dzień wcześniej byliśmy w innym miejscu, żeby ktoś nie zarzucił reklamy konkurencji. Kołacz bez porównania lepszy.

C’était notre premier gâteau cheminée et on a adoré ! Le prix est beaucoup moins cher que certains autres shop du centre ville et il font des gâteaux simples (nature, chocolat, caramel, confiture) que l’on ne trouve pas partout à Prague ! Beaucoup font des gâteaux avec de la chantilly, des fruits etc..

Ripoff for price. My cone was different than what the picture showed. Instead of shaved chocolate chunks, they put light chocolate syrup and chocolate sprinkles. I asked her about this and she unabashedly tried to convince me it was the same thing. This was after giving a tip.

Yummm! My mom and I used to eat those when we’d travel to Transylvania and I am so glad they have them in Prague! It is a calorie overload but so delicious!! This particular bakery is a few meters away from Charles Bridge so if you work up an appetite just treat yourself;)

La senyora ens ha tratado fatal només per preguntar i intentar asegurar-nos que la crema de pistachos no portava cap més fruit sec per tema alergias... A més a més fred i molt gruixuda la massa. Millor en altres llocs.

Sorry, but this place is NOT traditional Czech bakery. The chimney cake is a Hungarian desert, it hasn't got anyting to do with Czech tradition. This place is obvious tourist trap - it's not even run by Czech staff. See the "Kürtőskalács" on Wikipedia.

Buenos Trdelnik de calidad. Hecho en el mismo momento. El simple está a 60 coronas con lo cual no está mal . Suele ser su precio de el simple en la zona. Muy buen sabor y muy bueno ya que lo ponen recién hecho. Igual que si lo comieras en Hungría.

The chimney cake here was the best, it was so delicious! I got the tip to come here from my room mate, she tried the chocolate and pistachio and I tried white chocolate and it was perfect. 100% recommend!

Die Süssspeisen sind super lecker und preislich im Rahmen. Allerdings war der Kaffee aus einer Haushaltskaffeemaschine, die erst lange aufgeheizt werden musste, nicht wirklich geniessbar.

Not the best Trdelník you can get in Prague. It's tastes cheap compared to others. The staff are dressed up to attract tourists, but they are not so kind. Not rude either, though.
