Will the last person to leave Tree of Life Newtown please turn the lights off? This place used to be my favourite place ever. So much so that when my mum died earlier this year I bought her burial dress and the dress I wore to her funeral there. Owners listen up and do something about your management ... fast, because like that red hand on the Coles advert this place has been going down, down, down ... and as per my original review which follows, all the old favs have left with only one or two still hanging in there. They tried to tell you but you wouldn't listen! I was one of your best customers, why don't you check my purchases and note when they stopped? Previous review: Long time fan of Tree of Life and especially Tree of Life Newtown. Living just around the corner I pass this place almost every day and in the last couple of years have gotten to know everyone and my wardrobe has become predominantly Tree of Life. This is all down to Ashley Bell who in nearly 20 years was the first staff member there to befriend me as a customer and know me by name and suggest what would suit me. So now I always receive a warm welcome and feel at home there. When a tree staffer leaves for greener pastures I am sooooooo sad - Ashley and Jordy (aka Brodie) and now Bea - sigh ... Review was previously 5 stars but if my favourites keep on leaving ... well it will probably go back to how it was before Ashley.

I would give 6 stars or more to Tree of Life. It’s a beautiful store here, filled with wonderful clothing and products and an ethical business model that I’m happy to give my money to. I could actually spend a fortune here but I’m a bit of a minimalist, so I resist buying too much and I simply enjoy the vibe of the place. Clothing - lovely; homewares - gorgeous; incense collection - quite extensive. But mainly it’s the vibe. For a really relaxed feel and some lovely loose clothing, I enjoy it.

Beautiful store with a good variety of clothing and home accessories! The store is warm and friendly as are the staff who work there. A special ‘shoutout’ to Rosa, who patiently waited for me to pick a colourful throw after opening and folding at least 8! Thank you Rosa for for kindness and lovely service.

Always get treated like Family here by the wonderful Staff and love the clothes big time . I live in them ! The quality is exceptional for the cost and the durability compared to when I was younger is way way better x I often visit the Newtown and Miranda stores and both are great x

Variety of new clothing to try out. The store girls were nice, helpful when asked and didn't mind me trying out many clothes over many times. I like how they were wearing the Tree of life clothes, it was really easy to see how the dress would look on a real person.

Whatever Tree of Life I go to I'm treated like I'm in the wrong place because I'm a man. Such poor service means I walk out after 5 minutes and buy nothing. It's a shame for brand based at least in namesake on a higher purpose. Good luck Tree of Life. Never again.

This Newtown store has got some gorgeous dresses. They’re fitted at the waist and flow into a full skirt. Regularly have sales even down to $10 for a maxi dress! The girls here are super friendly and helpful too
