We hired Trek Movers weeks in advance based upon positive google review and had a horrible experience. We had requested vaccinated movers due to my fiancee's father being at risk in hospice care. One of the movers was not vaccinated, so we told him he should work outside of the house, but indicated we would pay the full 5 person crew amount (despite him needing to work outside). Trek's office called apologizing that they sent the wrong crew and the vaccinated crew that was suppose to come to our house was sent to another job. They told us they had a fully vaccinated crew that would be at our house in about an hour and the other crew left. The new crew showed up, but was only three people. They told me they charged extra for any item over 50 lbs. When I told them that was not our agreement, they told me Trek movers sold our contract to them and they could charge whatever they wanted. After multiple calls to Trek's office and the new crew starting they truck and threatening to leave, we tried to do the best with the situation given it was now after 11 am and no moving had started. Needless to say, they did not perform well. They took 10 hours, did not finish the move, scratch the wood floors and damaged the door frame, ripped the couch cushions. Worst of all they are untrustworthy. They were suppose to come back to finish the move at the time they dictated. We move our schedule to accommodate and they cancelled on us. I am sure you can do much better then Trek Movers. Disappointed and ripped off!

I have now done three moves with Trek: one from LA to the Bay Area, and two from a storage unit on the peninsula to the east bay. I’ve been very impressed with their efficiency and honesty, pointing out ways to save money and time, as well as pointing out scuffs to floors or damage to boxes or packaging, though they weren’t the cause. I found their rates to be very fair, and communication and scheduling to be straightforward in every experience. While packing and loading day in SoCal was admittedly a bit of a scramble, involving six of their workers, nothing was dinged or damaged, and I’ve waited to write this review until I looked through everything. I do wish that boxes had been more clearly marked by the LA team, or otherwise inventory recorded somehow, as it was difficult to locate some items once the whole lot was moved into storage. Given the volume of stuff and number of workers, this was not something I could have expected to turn out flawlessly. On the other hand, the folks in the Bay Area were basically perfect. There was no packing involved with the last two moves, but George, Valerii, Sego, and Batraz made quick work of moving furniture and boxes with one truck, and Valerii and Alex were at least as impressive with a second truckload. They were very polite, hard-working, and made every effort to treat the house and goods with care. I would gladly work with them again.

I moved within San Jose from a 2 bedroom to another 2 bedroom apartment. Based on the yelp reviews, I booked Trek Movers. Booking by the hour is not something that I am comfortable with because people play very fast and loose. Considering that movers always try to go over the estimate, it was a breeze of fresh air that the guys who showed up from Trek movers were not trying to scam me. Jerry, Batraz, and Dimitri were very diligent and cautious of the time. It was very easy for them to drag it out by another hour and make more money, but they were earnest, quick, and efficient. If I have to summarize the good qualities of these 3, I would simply say this * They were very mindful of the time. * They were very diligent in packing. These guys are super skilled and take care of your stuff as if it's their own. * super-efficient on time, they don't try to rip you off. * Jerry over communicates to keep us informed about every single aspect of the move. This is a big plus. * Dimitri and Batraz are so quick and skilled in packing and moving, it's not even funny. I have moved 4 times in the last 3 years, and this has been the most painless move ever. Highly recommend Trek Movers.

Our son was in an emergency situation and it was necessary for him to move out of his apartment to another apartment in two days. We went online to find an LA moving company. Trek Movers was reviewed on so may sites as the best, and they are the best!!! George was so helpful and understanding and began the process for us without any delay. All of the contract paperwork came to us online in a matter of minutes, and we were booked for the move immediately. Sarah from Trek Movers provided emails to us with confirmations and all the details every step of the way, and she too was so kind and understanding of our situation. When the movers, 4 men, arrived two days later, and right on time, they were ready to go. Their moving truck is great..... all the characters from Toy Story. "No one gets left behind." They had all the essential moving supplies and began packing. They were professional, smart about how they packed, and as our son said, they were fun too. They all had a great experience together. Our son bought lunch for all of them.... 5 Guys burgers for 4 guys!!! If you are moving in the LA area, Trek Movers is the company you want to move you. You will be so pleased!!!

George, Sego, Alex, and Valeri are true pros! These guys helped disassemble some of our desks before moving it and then reassembled at our new office. They carried moved everything into and out of the truck with the utmost care, doing everything they can to ensure that there was no damage to our old office, the new office, or any of our things. They even helped us remove a door when one of our desks was just a tad bit too big to get through (they made sure to note that they could not guarantee that the door could be put back on evenly, but it actually worked out very well!). One thing to note - if you have a large office printer (one that stands on its own with wheels and does not sit on a desk or table), they do not want to move anything that sensitive and heavy up any stairs without an elevator. These machines are heavy and any damage and they don't want to be responsible for the machine. We were able to make quick arrangements, but if you are moving into a building without elevators, make sure to specify with Trek any sensitive equipment you have that needs to be moved!

I've had moves in the past & can honestly say that Trek Movers is the most efficient & most professional moving service I've dealt with. The move started off with a preliminary video conference. The gentleman i met with set expectations, made me feel comfortable, asked very relevant questions, & had time to go over my concerns & questions. Since it was video call I was able to show him large items that might be difficult for the movers. I was assured that the crew knows what to do and could handle. The day of the move, I was greeted by Jerry, Alex, & Alejandro & they got right to work after the walk through. They protected the floors of the old place & at the new place. They disassembled & re-assembled furniture. They moved with great speed & were super efficient. The crew was courteous & professional. 10/10 would recommend!

The movers were very careful with our furniture and they were pleasant to be around. They took care of everything and quickly got the job done, which was great because a lot of our furniture had to go on the second floor of the house. They were there on time and as promised reassembled our king bed with no problem. Even the barbecue made it without a dent or scratch, all of our stuff seems to be ok. It was a good move, and I’m glad that we went with a carrier and not a broker, my wife did plenty of research and what we wanted was an actual carrier that could do a quality move at a fair price. It was a pretty good sized move. Luckily, everything went well and with no damage. Absolutely recommend!

Every step of the process with Trek was fantastic from contacting Trek through delivery. I contacted Trek on Yelp and they responded within 5 minutes. After filling out their online form I received a callback and had my appointment scheduled within the hour. On the morning of the move I received a called from our movers, George and Sego, letting me know when they would arrive. The entire move from arrival to completion was 5.5 hours and I truly thought it should have taken longer. They were ridiculously fast and efficient, without sacrificing quality and carefulness. They were really kind and had great communication. I highly recommend Trek. Ask for George and Sego, you won’t regret it!

TREK was one of the best moving companies I've ever used. The crew that packed up my apartment was professional, careful, and detail oriented. They put me at ease and instilled confidence that my furnishings and belongings were in great hands. In particular, Tim the lead mover was friendly and caring and was wonderful to work with. I have done a few moves with varying results. This team was by far the best team I have ever worked with. They were right on time and disassembled my furniture, and put it back together without a scratch or dirt mark, and in the matter of just a couple of hours. They made moving feel stress-free and easy. I would highly recommend them to anyone moving!!!

This was the easiest move I’ve had - moving from a 1 bdrm apt to a storage unit, I had a lot of art and mirrors I was worried about, but this company eased my mind in no time. Everything was carefully and perfectly wrapped, including furniture and extra packing needs. They moved everything carefully, were very friendly and trustworthy and worked hard. I never felt uneasy. Great experience. The movers (Tim, Alex) were fast, efficient and kind, and got everything into the storage unit safely and well arranged. This is the second time me and my husband Manuj have used their services and we were not disappointed. They are very efficient and fast. They moved our 1 bhk stuff in 2021 in less then 3 hours from sunnyvale to san jose. And this time it was a lot more and took them 4 hours of loading because of the apartment location. My apartment was in disarray with unfolded open boxes with sorts of things scattered and cluttered when the bell rang and these two men in yellow walked through the door with a beaming smile and glimpsed around the space. With in no time everything was spruced up, wrapped, neatly packed, labeled hauled to the cargo container stacked and fitted nicely. There were caring and respectful and able to accommodate our request of putting an extra item inside the pod and yet had a plenty of space for us to throw some of valuables in if needed. I would recommend Alex and Farhad especially this duo for your next move.

We reached out within a week of our move-out date, and the folks at Trek were quick to respond and were able to accommodate us with zero problems. George and Sego were a fantastic team. They went above and beyond to help us pack everything we hadn’t yet packed ourselves, and moved our entire apartment with speed and care. Recently had Trek Movers move our belongings from one apartment to another. They are paid hourly and the two gentlemen Tim and David hustled while maintaining a high level of care and the invoice was cheaper than the quote. The move out was a challenge, as there was only one elevator in service. Plus, the ramp leading to the main doors only had room for the truck, so they occasionally had to move the truck to let other traffic pass. The company communicated well and everyone I dealt with was friendly and helpful. Couldn't be happier with the services we received.

No care taken in packing personal goods. Items such as sentimental vases and wedding memorabilia thrown in boxes with no wrapping or protection. No inventory management marking like I've had with other companies to make sure all of your items are accounted for. Moving appraiser said that clothes would be ok to leave in drawers, but were taken out so we need to wash and fold again to get rid of wrinkles. They also pressure you to leave a review before they leave and you've had a chance to go through your items.

This was our first time using TREK, and I’m so glad we did! They took extra care with all of our items, and even packed away some of our extra things for us. They were also great at navigating the narrow streets with a moving truck, despite heavy traffic and street parking. Everyone was super helpful, responsive and helpful. Moving can be stressful and they made the process so much easier. The estimate I received was quick, accurate and informative. We will certainly use TREK for future moves!

We used Jerry and his team for a local move in SJ. The move went great. I liked that the team wrapped our furniture, boxed our TVs, and carefully moved random fragile stuff. Everything was moved safely without damage. Everyone was diligent about COVID safety and wore a mask when indoors and when around us. Have used Trek Movers twice in the past month and had great service both times. Both times, I called them just a few days before my desired move date and they were able to accommodate my schedule. Georgii and Sego handled both of the moves — they showed up on time, had all the right gear, took care to pack/wrap items — and were great! Trek movers just completed a move for us from the San Francisco South Bay up to Marin. The team led by George was awesome. Very careful with our property, everything was wrapped in moving blankets and plastic and well protected. A few pieces of furniture had to be dis-assembled and re-assembled in our new house - No Problem. Will be happy to recommend this crew to anyone looking to do a move soon.

We had a razor thin, huge flat screen and they were able to safely transport it from a 2nd floor apartment in Santa Cruz to a house in Sacramento! They were also super accommodating with where we needed to place specific boxes. It was our first time booking a moving company, and we're super grateful for an amazing experience! Moving is one of the most stressful experience in the world. Luckily, TREK Movers made it a lot less so. Alex and Sam were professionals! I was impressed at the effort that they took to wrap everything, even for a short move. Packed up everything and moved it with no problems.
