Wow what an airport. Don’t mean to be negative or critical here, but just want to set the traveller expectation. The airport (international) was quite small, even smaller for the domestic. During busy time, not enough seating. No clear signage or instruction. Most airport staffs couldn’t answer most of the simple question. If you arrive to the airport more than 2hrs earlier than the schedule most likely you have to wait for the gate assignment. But I can see they are trying to improve, so hopefully next trip here, it will be better. Bathroom: so dirty and small.

Tribhuvan International Airport is a small airport compared to Delhi or Kuala Lumpur... Multiple flights to India, Saudi Arabia, Doha, Qatar and Dubai fly frequently.. Check-in and security check, immigration are quick and easy. You may go with little time in hand too.. they have some eateries and take away shops inside the airport. Small but well kept and clean Airport. Not much rush in the flights..

Immigration process was well organized. The post arrival security check was chaotic

They will try to scam you to pay extra or delay your flight however they can.

Aeropuerto pequeño, viejo y caótico. No hay wifi gratis ni enchufes.

Oldest airport of Nepal & only one in kathmandu valley.

No duty free shops, toilets are old. Staffs are rude.

Over crowded these days, sufficient open space.

The only international Airport in Nepal.

Just a good airport. Nothing so special.
