Finding Trinity Church here in Lyon was one of the most important things I have ever done in my life! This community showed me extraordinary community, hospitality, humility, and joy. I have been to so, so many churches but I find they are often plagued by politics, materialism, and getting caught up in stuff that doesn't really matter, at the end of the day. The Christian writer Matthew Kelly said this one thing in one of his books I never forgot - that we need so little, but we burden ourselves with so much. I think Trinity Church Lyon really, really, really gets the wisdom of this. We need just one another, and the Holy, and to have our basic needs met... but anyway. This church doesn't make an idol of material or performativity or fancy things - it just keeps showing up for one another and the world. TCL just honestly rocked my world. I will never forget it. It honestly changed my life. Give it a try, maybe it can change yours too. (And if not, they won't mind if you go on to pursue your flourishing wherever you need) :)
