The woman who runs this TS is a terrible business person, and an apathetic scammer. We used to come here every week for months, and while the customer service was garbage and the bathrooms never had TP (if it was even open at all) we enjoyed the product. However, after using THEIR TS APP- not a random delivery app- the driver never brought our food and just listed it as delivered. This owner: - lied and said she couldn’t process refunds even though the app customer service says she is responsible for it - wouldn’t replace the order for free to make up for the FORTY DOLLAR LOSS - refused to let us use all of our rewards points for an order to replace the order we lost. - refuses to teach her employees how to process refunds so nobody can refund orders when she isn’t there. We had to come back THREE TIMES to see her in person. - brought up skin color when we claimed the driver never brought our order to our house. Literally we have spent hundreds of dollars here. We each had over 1500 points to spend. We are never coming back.

They are consistently on the ball for carry out. I ate in the store recently & it was busier than they could handle. It took the length of us eating our food for our smoothie to come out (intended to be eaten with our meal). But what upset me was that I couldn’t get a refill on my cup of water because it’s counter service & they were in the middle of their lunch rush. Any cafe with counter service ought to have a water cistern, decanter, whatever you want to call it (this is also where you can put extra napkins, straws, etc.. so customers can self serve). It was not a pleasurable experience drinking out of the 6 oz styrofoam cup they gave me & then eating the rest of my meal without anything to drink because their staff was occupied. I’m not asking for table service, but consider your customer’s dine in experience & I don’t believe this Tropical smoothie cafe cares to. I’ll be updating / hopefully improving my review next time I go in & have a better experience.

Not exactly impolite but not exactly friendly. No help at all with the menu. No concern for customer satisfaction, more like get 'em in - get 'em out. Definitely not a welcoming environment. Being there for the first time it took a minute to read through the smoothie menu. It's not very detailed so it's very hard to know what you are really getting. In attempting to ask for more detail in proteins etc answers were short and contrite. Every person who came in behind me struggled with the menu. No help or kindness was offered. Just an overall sense of urgency to get everyone out. I ended up with a peanut butter cup smoothie. It tasted full of ice. Watered down and very flavorless. It went in the trash about 5 sips in. How does peanut butter, banana and chocolate end up tasting like very watered down icy chocolate "drink" - I would have said milk but it wasn't creamy enough to refer to as ice blended chocolate milk.

Go down the street to The Well (local!!) and get a smoothie there instead. I used to love Tropical Smoothie and go every day before work. Then, they started going downhill. Smoothies didn't taste as good, workers were rude and very uninterested in being there, and it showed. Today, I went in, ordered a smoothie, paid, and ran next door while it was being made. I come back and the worker tells me my card was declined (even though I just used it next door) so they didn't make it. Whatever. I was in a hurry so I just left (before I left, I observed workers making smoothies without even washing their hands and also not wearing gloves!!) Then I see that I was actually charged for the smoothie after all. They charged me, never gave me my smoothie, then lied to me about it being declined. I will not be back after today. Terrible service.

I wanted to try something fresh. This was my first time eating here and I ordered a pick-up order. When I walked in, no one greeted me. There was a guy standing by the cashier waiting for something. I didn’t know where to go, so I stood close to the cashier waiting for someone to help me...and no one said anything for me for a few minutes. Finally, I said I had to pick up an order (and no, I didn’t know it was right there by the door), and she could not understand me at all. She finally figured it out and pointed me to a bag on the end. To top it all off, no one had put straws in the bag for my drinks, and my sides were missing (I didn’t realize until I made it home). Terrible service, and the food is okay but doesn’t make up for the service I received. I will not come back.

If I could give the place 0 stars I would this was the worst experience I have ever had. I went into this smoothie cafe informed the worker it was my first time here asked her which of the green smoothies she preferred over the others to help give some insight. I got the detox smoothie which is more bitter and spicy than I expected I went back into the cafe not even two minutes after tasting the smoothie. I was told NO REMAKES and NO EXCHANGES even if in the SAME price range. I was appalled and told the only way to get another smoothie is to pay for one. Needless to say I will not be returning. Smoothie King it is. If given a receipt I would leave the name of the worker who helped me; worst service ever !!!! Do not go here !

Trust me when I say GREAT SMOOTHIES AND GREAT PEOPLE!!! I’ve been coming to the Tropical Smoothie in Bellevue for about a year and I’ve never had an issue. The women that I’ve assumed manage the store are very kind and will assist you in finding the perfect smoothie for you. I got in the habit of ordering an Island Green but one day I wanted to switch it up and just threw a few names out there to the manager on what I should try and little did I know I would discover THE BEST SMOOTHIE EVER!!!!! Island Green is very good but BAHAMA MOMMA OMG (MIC DROP) It’s amazing and it’s a perfect blend of white chocolate and coconut. I love this location and the service is great. I give this place 10/5 stars (yea it’s that great )

This was my first time going to tropical smoothie because I wanted to try a different place other than smoothie king don’t get me wrong I love smoothing king but anyway when I came to this location their customer service is horrible they didnt greet us, when you order something it feels like you’re bothering them, if you ask what can you put in the smoothies they don’t offer any options they just make you find it yourself. Their attitudes are just horrible if you don’t like people don’t work around them I don’t know if they treat every customer like that but what I’ve experienced was bad but other than that the smoothie was good I will go to tropical smoothie again but I don’t know about going to this location again...

This location is slightly inferior to others in the area for the following reasons. First, the employees were rude. When I entered there were 2 Indian women there who were rude to me. Furthermore, this location does not offer the food options that the chain offers. When ordering a sandwich, you're supposed to be able to choose from a number of different sides but when I arrived they told me I could only have chips even though I saw fresh fruit behind the counter. I ordered a super green wrap which was supposed to have a number of different greens in it like spinach but all it had was iceberg lettuce. The location is inconvenient the place was a little dirty and the food is overpriced.

The workers here are terrible. Literally the worst tropical cafe I’ve ever been to. I made an order for an hour ahead by mistake and arrived an hour early. I showed my proof of receipt and order and was told they couldn’t make my food and that I will have to wait until that original time. That was number 1 for me. So I canceled the order because I couldn’t wait. Got an email that I wasn’t charged. I check my account and was indeed charged. Called the store like the email said and was told they couldn’t do anything and to call my bank. Like just overall ridiculous and I hate to say it but the worker was an Indian lady and she is very rude and talks on the phone like she doesn’t care.

This tropical smoothie is a huge disappointment. I’ve tried going to this specific location probably 5/6 times and they are always out of key ingredients. They will not ever and have never had the fake chicken (meatless substitute) despite the item being on the menu and available to order online. After a recent order online, instead of canceling, they sent my girlfriend and I two very incomplete wraps missing multiple items and accepted the up charges for the fake chicken as well. They also managed to get our sides wrong. If you go here, you will very likely be underwhelmed and disappointed with your order.

I can't remember the last time I walked out of an establishment cursing! THIS PLACE HAS THE ABSOLUTE WORST PEOPLE WORKING BEHIND THE COUNTER!! My wife would have me go in to order her smoothies while she stayed in the car with our young son. We usually order ahead of time so all I would need to do is pick up the order. Having to order at the counter is like being in another world. RUDE! RUDE! RUDE! This is ALL can say to describe the staff. Tone, WAY out of line. The young woman whonworks there needs a class in customer service. You're better off driving to Smoothie King in Belle Meade.

I have been to tropical smoothies in Houston so amazing that I looked it up here in tn. It doesn’t compare at all. The worker was not wearing mask nor gloves. The food is sub par does not taste fresh, the chicken is way to big has huge chucks that taste like we’re from frozen pack. This is nothing like what I had tasted in Houston. The wrap was falling apart couldn’t even hold it. I’m so disappointed. I don’t understand why this place has 3.9 maybe because they haven’t tried other places, but this is not the tropical smoothie I had in other places. Save your $$$ not worth it

Don’t waste your time with this business. I caution you! We’ve ordered group orders several times (my nurse friends and I) and I kid you not, near about everytime they leave something out. When you call about it they refuse to refund. We cant check before picking up because it’s ordered through a third party. I would rather have a replacement item than no item at all. We bring it about 70$ a day in business and I can assure that’s going to end soon. When the manager wonders why their profit has seen a dip, refer them to this comment. :)

Ordered a Caesar salad with out chicken $7.99 nothing to it. Grilled avocado cheese sandwich came with no avocados then she came back when we told her and took sandwich and added avocados. I believe that’s a health violation. Then my water was out of the sink I’m sure with no ice. Banana side for my grandson was black when I complained she brought me another old banana. I’m guessing they don’t waste anything since smoothies had strong banana smell. Over ripe smell. Worst place ever located in Bellevue, Tennessee.

The smoothies I bought today were very watered down and had little flavor. The lady taking my friend and I’s order was very rude and short with us. I wanted the BBQ Quesadilla and its slogan is literally “All Summer Long” and they were out of it. Put a sign up or change the slogan if you don’t have it “All Summer Long”. We both paid for chips and they did not give us any, so we had to go back and ask for them. She then gave us the wrong chips and acted like it was our fault. Bad service and tasteless smoothies.

First time going to a Tropical Smoothie. My dad and I each got a smoothie. My smoothie had a really weird taste. It was supposed to be fruity but tasted like artificial sweetener with a strange aftertaste. My dads was supposed to be pineapple and mango. It tasted like ice with a hint of mango flavor. We were expecting to be at least somewhat sweet but had almost no flavor. My dad isn't very picky, but even thought it was bland.

Order a turkey club sandwich from here and water. Told the cashier that I would like no cheese because I can’t eat it. I got my food home and there were cheese slices on it. Took it back and she said there’s no cheese, that there is Parmesan slices. I let her know Parmesan is cheese and ask could they remake the sandwich. It would be great if the workers knew what cheese was. Also they don’t wash their blender out between uses which is not sanitary to me. But to each it’s own.

I've been maybe 2 or 3 times hoping for a change. My first visit was when they were new. The owner was there and very nice. The second time it was 2 people there I asked for a small menu they pointed to the wall menu. I have issues seeing far away so I asked again. The third time I go in the lady says nothing and 2 customers left because she didn't say hi or hang on. She finished making another order and then asked what I wanted. She's always on her phone and never polite.

Went to get a kids smoothie for a toddler that had just had surgery. Asked the woman about the kids smoothies. I ordered the Jetty punch. Charged me for an adult one. I told her I wanted the kids one and she said the Jetty punch was for adults and the Jetty junior was for kids. I told her I didn’t want that and she would not give me a refund. She said she can split it into 2 cups. I spent double the price intended. I understand I misspoke but she was rude about it.

I have been there twice (several months in between visits). The smoothies taste okay but the service is terrible. The workers act like they hate their job and are uninterested in interacting with the customers. On my second visit I asked I asked if they made acai bowls and she yes. She charged me and made me a smoothie instead. I confronted her about it and she just shrugged saying they don't make bowls. I left having paid for a smoothie I didn't ask for...

Beyond irritated with my service. I ordered through the tropical smoothie app to have my food delivered. My tracking said delivered yet I never received my food. I called to see what happened, the woman wanted to argue with me that I ordered through Uber eats and I needed to contact them. I did not order through any food app other then tropical smoothie. The woman was so rude told me she couldn’t help me and hung up. Now I’m out almost 40 dollars!

Went there this morning at 8:20 and no one was there. Lights were off, chairs were still on table. The sign on the doors says there hours of operation on saturdays are 8am-9pm.. really disappointed I couldn’t get a smoothie after my morning workout. Love the smoothies but they need to make sure they are hiring the right people. Especially people that will show up on time to open the store...

Love the TSC smoothies and food! However, this location is subpar. The lady taking my order was talking on her bluetooth phone the entire time I was trying to order. She had to ask me to repeat my order because her phone call was distracting her. And I had to ask her to repeat herself because she was mumbling. All in all; great smoothie, but bad customer relations at this location.

To preface, I go there just about every day. It is and will remain my favorite spot for smoothies. My current favorite smoothie is the Paradise Point. It's fantastic! Further - the staff is always friendly/helpful. And the woman who manages the operation has always been phenomenal! I don't see myself going anywhere else. So do yourself a favor, and check this place out.

I have been here a few times and the workers are ALWAYS so mean, rude and short. I really like Tropical Smoothie and this is a great location, but the workers are horrible. I am not sure if the owner reads the reviews, but based on what i've read many people have had the same experience. Secondly the last two times i have went the workers have not had on mask.

Every time I have more than 2 drinks, the owner refuses to give me a drink container.this has happened at least 4 times in a row. Today I was told to take some of the drinks, then come back to get the rest. Why should I waist my gas after paying for the drinks just because the owner is too cheap to provide drink containers If I could I would rate a -1 star

I have wanted to try this place for a while and so we decided to go one night after sports practice.Food was tasteful but service was blah. Wasn’t greeted when I entered and wasn’t addressed for about a minute or two. There were no other customers in the building. Although I was satisfied with the food I think the service wasn’t good enough for me to go back.

Very disappointed in the customer service! As I was pulling up and parked the employee was inside on her cell phone. The sign said that they were open and they still had an hour before they closed. I started walking towards the door and she turned the lights off and locked the door. If it’s business they don’t want they don’t have to worry about me returning.

Worst tropical I've been to. Rude staff, dirty restroom, no military discount (unlike other locations) staff barely spoke English. Often when they make your smoothie, there's a small cup worth of extra smoothie. Every other Tropical I've been to (10+) gives you this; the woman (presumably the owner) refused to do so. Avoid.

Service is a little bit... chilly... but they are fast. I love the online ordering through the app. It’s the only way to go if you want to customize your order. Also their menu board is a little busy so the app makes it a bit more digestible imho. Currently addicted to the BBQ chicken flatbread and Bahama Mama smoothie.

The smoothies are delicious! Definitely recommend them! However, I've been checking in periodically since they opened for the meat substitute that they advertise as having, but they haven't had it one single time they I've been in. It's disappointing, I wish they wouldn't advertise it if they don't actually carry it.

The ladies here are nice. I went here twice and i thought my Flatbread tasted much better than 1st time than at night but overall a good place to eat. Tasty smoothies. Unlike some of the other tropical cafe the smoothie is the only drink option they have as well. I like sunrise sunset and Caribbean jerk wrap.

The foid was good i really enjoyed the green goddess pita. I paired it with a strawberry chia lemonaid smoothie that was very tasty and refreshing! The price for a full meal wqs just over 10$ for the pita the smoothie and an apple.

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Rude as soon as I walked in, and I'm vegan so when they mixed up my order with someone elses they said they were out of vegan chicken so they just gave me regular chicken. Wouldn't refund my money or make me something else. Thanks for stealing $20 lol

Rude, employees didnt say anything to me after i greeted them. They just looked irritated I was there. It looked like the guy making the smoothies spit in my drink. I asked why he put it up to his mouth with his back turned. He said he was smelling it. I threw both smoothies away.

When my doordash delivery is incomplete, the first words out of the managers mouth should be an apology. That didn't happen. If you can't apologize and offer a good solution, my business will go elsewhere... even though i like your food. Good service is just as important as taste.

Terrible service, not friendly at all. I went in for a smoothie and they told us to go to an ATM because it’s easier for them. They never smile and they don’t care about providing quality stuff just getting you out the door. I had one girl who was friendly but I only saw her once.

Tropical Smoothie cafe located within the One Bellevue shopping center. Food and service are managed well and good quality. Online or in-store order are accepted and works seamlessly well. Quick and friendly service. At times the wait time could be long but are handled well.

Terrible. I ordered from here and I got a soggy chicken wrap with soggy lettuce and brown avocado. They do not care about what they give to their customers. I had a stomach ache for 24 hours after eating at this specific tropical smoothie. New owners are needed here badly!!

The smoothies are ok. The food seems fresh. This place is extensively clean and organized. But the customer service is TERRIBLE. A warm greeting or friendly hello goes a long way whenever you’re patronizing at a restaurant. Most likely will not return to this location.

Quiet place, staff are effective and the smoothies are in my opinion too notch. Edit: went here again recently and the staff was unfriendly and cold, and do re mi by black bear is probably not a good song to be playing while there are little kids in the shop

Go there for my post workout smoothie almost every day! Arely is always so sweet and polite and helpful. I absolutely love coming here. They’re quick but you don’t feel rushed. There food is great and you have plenty of healthy options for great prices!

Food is not good. The owner jasmine patel and her daughter vhidi are very rude and inconsiderate. Surprised they’re still in business. They also go into other small businesses to get services that they refuse to pay. Pathetic human beings if you ask me

Rude staff. Not fresh. Ordered smoothie it tasted like ice water, and ordered Avocado Grilled cheese which was two pieces of bread smeared with maybe half a slice of avocado and less than a half a slice of both cheese and bacon. Very disappointed.

As I was walking to the door about 15 minutes before closing time, the owner saw me coming and ran up to lock the door and turn the open sign off. They’re not polite at all and it takes them way too long to make the food.

It is a great go to for a fast, healthier meal. I like the chicken ceasar wrap. I also like the sunrise sunset smoothie. The only downside is that sometimes the smoothies seem to be watered down with too much ice.
