The staff were friendly and efficient and the wash did an okay job but wasn’t as effective as I would have hoped. The wash was quick and the dryers did an amazing job with heaps of power. They don’t offer any treatment for your alloy wheels so they don’t get any special attention. As a result, my wheels didn’t get a great clean. I’d like them to focus on this and offer a product that helps remove brake dust etc. from the crevices in the rim design. The vacuum area is a bit strange as there aren’t any coin slots to pay for time etc. There are seperate hoses for each side of your car which is a great idea but I’m not sure whether you are supposed to get a few minutes of free suction for each side of the car and I may have missed any specific instructions that might have been on display. The machines didn’t seem to be overly powerful and I didn’t get long to clean with the vacs but I wasn’t complaining because they were kind enough to give me a free introductory wash which I am grateful for. Maybe you get more time with the vacs when you pay. If you’re looking for a reasonable wash and your car isn’t filthy, this place will have you in and out in no time. Nothing beats a hand wash obviously but if you don’t have the time and space then give them a try.

Quick and reasonably priced car wash. It is no substitute for a hand wash though. Staff are great and will correct reasonable things on request if they are available. I have taken my family cars through Tunnel Express on several occasions and always needed to rewash wheels, side skirts or on my hatch back, the entire back of the car. If you car is hasn't been cleaned recently, you will be left with dirty spots that will need attention. Unless you have flat hubcaps, your wheels will be left dirty if there is no one on hand to manually pressure wash common brake dust from your wheel spokes. If your car is beyond needing a good rinse, use a hand wash service or go to a self wash service. If you keep your car clean and you want to get a quick wash that will make your car look respectable, Tunnel Express will do the job.

Happen to find this place when I was driving past about 6 months ago. Have been there since for two simple yet great reasons. The staff here are super friendly, professional, courteous and always attend to customers with a smile. Mind you this is not just one staff or two but Pat and his whole team are truly awesome and each one makes you feel at ease and offer great customer service!! Second reason is the way they have setup their facility the auto wash does it’s job quite well and then the self service vacuum area is spacious even if you have cars parked on either side and you can take your own time to clean your car from inside no rush. Although it’s a bit of a drive away from home for me, this is the pace I keep going back to every time!!!! Thank you Pat and your team, you deserve a bow!!!

Just want to share my first time experience in using this car wash..... Their website is user-friendly. It let's you select the wash package that you like, pay and your code is sent to you immediately. I went to the Moorabbin outlet and was greeted by a customer friendly team member who asked me if it's my first time. He proceeded to explain to me what will be happening. So customer-centric and with a smile. It was late in the afternoon around 4:15pm but he still manage a great smile. There were 2 of them who depicts great customer service with a smile. The wash was great. It actually cleaned my car unlike other automated car wash. I would commend the 2 incredible team members, and their customer service. I will definitely be back and sign up as a Wash Member. Well done team.

"New concept doesnt always mean the better" Took my car here for the first time and was new to the whole system they have going here. The customer service is very friendly. Although they should be more careful when handling the car eg. antennas, wipers etc etc. The wash overall was very fast. But at the same time not the best result ive had from a wash n go sort of place. Free vacuum service is great as well. I like how they are setup. Vacuums could do with more power though and i actually had one of the heads come off one i was using and had to put it back on. They are advertising all these fancy cars coming here. But i wouldn't be putting my sports car through this service. Suits the daily driver sort of car. And only if your in a big rush.

I've used automatic car wash before, i tried this place because it had a very different outlook from the rest. But to be very honest this place was a total disappointment. I choose $24 car service in which there was a 3 dollar ceramic protection (too expensive compared to options available in the market) as well but the car was not washed properly i don't even know if the ceramic protection was done. Zero value for money, this place just looks fancy rest its not comparable with the other automatic car wash available in the market. I think you guys can improve and it would be great, since i would love to get my car wash done locally

I went to Tunnel Express today and was welcomed by Pat who explained the memberships in detail and helped me with a pre clean due to tree sap. Reece and Pat spent time with me offering amazing customer service and tips which was above and beyond the usual. You’ll see the tree that makes the car wash a necessary measuring the photo. I appreciated the time and effort they put in to assist me. I purchased the $59 monthly membership… I can go daily if I want!!! Usually I pay about $25 per wash and go once or twice a month. Now my car will be clean and protected whenever I want! Thank you both.

The wash itself was super quick...a bit disappointed that small leaves and debris did not get removed from outer crevices though. The car was left shiny but not as clean as I would gave liked and when finished I was left with a bit of a "meh!" feeling. I don't think this carwash cleans as well as some but one thing I will give it is the shine! The shine and gleam continues and stays on the car, no dirt sticks to the car after the wash. That part is amazing. I park my car under a tree and none of the stuff that usually sticks to the car has stuck since!

Excellent customer service. Everyone, right from the payment bay to the professionals checking in at the vacuum bay, provided phenomenal customer service. I happened to stay late vacuuming after their closing time but the manager was kind enough to stay back and treated me with extreme kindness. Their vacuuming is free for any wash you pay for. I reckon it’s a great service/idea to gain competitive advantage over other car wash centres.I would probably go for a membership if I change my habit of washing my car very often. Lol!!

If they open more branches they will take over the industry. They use some chemical due to which the car shines for up to 5 days and more depending on where you park (Hopefully not under a tree ). The vaccums are free and there is no time limit but the suction isn't great. But the main thing is that the blowers are great. The car comes out pretty much dry and dust doesn't accumulate on any residual water drops and the car stays clean when you drive off. The staff are the most professional and friendliest bunch you will see.

The service is top notch. I had issues with my free wash code (it expired) but the staff were super helpful and kind! Love the lights in the wash too, just needs some music to make it a mini disco ;) I love the idea of a free vacuum with every wash, I hope that is a permanent thing. I hate having to pay $2 for a 1 minute vacuum at other places. I do wish the suction was a little bit stronger but overall my car is super clean and looking fab. Keep up the awesome customer service because it makes me want to come back!

Scratches your car, AVOID! They dont seem very keen on doing a proper hand wash first for a thorough clean and although the automatic does an ok job , its an expensive mistake. straight after going through it was noticed.not worth it! Wouldn't use them again and very unhappy with the scratches all over my car. Must make mention also that the vacuums really don't do a thing, extremely weak, dont even seem like industrial vacuums designed for cars. They don't even work. But the biggest concern is scratching your car!

Made the foolish mistake of believing the car wash was diffract and would not lead to scratches and all the promises they will make during signup! DO NOT proceed if you care for your car, you will notice scratches come up from the wash blades that will build circular motions around the side of your car, on a sunny day and they will reflect, like I noticed today unfortunately!!! I have canceled my membership and will be going back to hand car wash unfortunately damage is done for me !!!

When i was paying for each wash i did, my vehicle was coming out fairly clean. Now that I’ve become a member my car is always still filthy, windscreen filthy, side windows dirty, front bonnet still had bird poo, the grill on the bonnet filthy. Ive got the Protect+ membership that includes tyre shine, but my car always comes out with no shine on the tyres. Ive complain to the staff and was told that the owner Pat was going to contact me to discuss but haven't heard from anyone

This was my first time using Tunnel express in Moorabbin and I was delighted by the excellent customer service and experience. I was met by a friendly, helpful and knowledgeable person. The process was seamless, easy, efficient and fast! The car looks fabulous and I am extremely impressed with the result. If I lived locally (even relatively close) I would definitely get the membership and utilitise it every day/week! I highly recommend it!!

Used the car wash for the first time today. The man directing entry into the tunnel was friendly and patient. He told me l had free vacuum after the wash. The wash did a good job on my very dirty car. The vacuum however didn't last very long until it turned itself off. I only managed to do one side of the front foot well. Some signed info on usage for this would be helpful ..... maybe l just did it the wrong way. Will definitely return.

Best car wash around and I've tried a few. The $24 wash is worth it and the ceramic coat does wonders for my paintwork. Staff are great. Reece even helped flick a huntsman off my car today before I entered the car wash! Thank you! He was friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The look of this carwash from outside is very modern so I was expecting a super top quality wash considering the expensive price as well. First time, I used it. The service was friendly. However, the quality of wash itself and the power of the vacuum not that great. ,even though I used the first vacuum by the attendant's recommendation which was supposed to be the strongest. Unfortunately I won't be back.

The car wash was was super speedy, really hygienic and actually fun to go through. The staff were really helpful, friendly and more than happy to answer all my questions. I bought a monthly pass because honestly - 3.5mins to clean and dry my car is money well spent!! My car looked fabulous and the business assure the jets etc wont scratch high end cars. I highly highly recommend you give it a go!

Have driven past many times and decided after reading the reviews would give it a try, was nervous as we have never taken our car through a carwash like this, the staff were excellent and answered our questions. I am always one for touch free car washing, turned up and was hesitant to go through as it was a tunnel. The gentleman there was very nice to explain the process and assure me the car will not get scratched ect. So l proceeded to give it a go, car came out spotless, shiny and dry with a light fragrant smell. Wasn't disappointed and will gladly return for more car washes in the future.

Best by far, the service is fantastic and the tunnel itself is always both mesmerising and quick. No drawbacks to performance the car always comes out looking great and the vacuums perform well enough to get the job done. I often get the car cleaned on my way to work and I've kept it looking and smelling fresh with almost no time spent. It feels great!

Definitely recommend using this car wash, I’ve used it a few times now and have had no issues my car has come out perfect. The staff are friendly always willing to help and always smiling. Does an ok wash but if your car is quite dirty with any pollen or other type spots on your paintwork it doesn't get rid of them, I've had to come home and repolish it as it was still covered in pollen spots. Wheels look good and the vac was nice and strong so some positives just not a good wash unless your car is already fairly clean.

I would rate this better than any other automatic car wash. The club options are very tempting which gives literally unlimited washes in a month. It would be nice to see some progress on the car wash steps as it cleans. Example: I don’t know when the ceramic coating happened. As advertised, the Tuesday discounts didn’t apply for me.

This is the best, convenient, high tech, quick wash service I've used. Goes through the machine which does a great job, but the attendant Julian helped with some personalised service and spot cleaning. Julian was very friendly and helpful helped wipe the car down and tackle any missed spots. Also comes with Free vacuuming!!

A fairly impressive drive through car wash experience. While not perfect with wheels (what drive through is?) It got the car the cleanest it's been from a drive through. The free vacuum was good, one was blocked full of tissues but used another one. Service was amazing. Will be back and consider the membership.

After a long drive back from S.A. on Monday, I was stopped entering the tunnel wash and the attendant got the pressure washer out and gave the front a good spray to remove all the bugs and road grime. The he went to all the wheel arches and gave them a good spray. What a sensational service from the team. 10/10

Other members of my family have washed their cars here several times but this was my first time. It did a good job washing our very dirty sedan and I appreciated the free vacumn to tidy up the interior. Car wash took only a couple of minutes from woah to go and was a bit over $20 for the premium wash.

This is not your average car wash. The service is great. Wash quality is good too. You also get a free vacuum hose that you can DIY. The subscription model is worth while if you wash at least twice a month, so for some people that like their car clean it's worth it. Highly recommend.

Had stubborn stains from an annoying tree all over tub cover. Didn’t come off from wash. A young bloke came out, introduced himself with cool and happy to be there style. Proceeded to go find a solution to rub it all off while I did the vacuuming. Nice Reece, great form.

We gave the new dog wash station a try this morning and loved it! It's tucked in the far corner nicely away from the cars, and sparkling clean! Had a lovely chat to the staff there and best off all the shampoo and conditioner smelled lovely, unlike other diy dog washes.

Fast and easy for a great clean dry result. The vacuums are also really easy to use with thin heads to access hard to reach areas inside your cabin. Highly recommended!!!
