Think of Delicious Lebanese Healthier food, think of Tunnel meals. This place has a great ambiance and brilliant food. It’s perfect and I loved my visit here. They have veg and non-veg items. Following: Starters: Cold Mezza My favourite are Mix Mezza and Hot Mezza Falafel all time favourite. Mix fried vegetables which is serve with garlic sauce. Mains course: My favourite under main course is Mix Grill this is must have dish, made up of lamb cubes, minced lamb, marinated chicken cubes, served with grilled pepper, onion and tomatoes. Other favourites are chicken and lamb biryani, chicken and lamb curry. Portion sizes are massive. Meal deals They also come up with meal deals in wraps, burger, prawan, fish, nuggets, calamari, veggie along with chips etc. The service is quick and the food is good. Also available for quick go on Shawarma in wraps. Burgers with lamb and chicken, it’s Halal certified. Dessert: Mixed Baklava Drinks: Soft drinks, hot drinks, fresh squeezed juices and milk shake or smoothies. My best is strawberry and Banana milk shake. If you have a family get together or a team outing, they even have set menu options. It is also very conveniently located near both Charing Cross and Embankment stations. Highly recommended and must visit place to for food lovers!!!

We went in here seeing the reviews and for the fact it was the only halal burger option around. The service staff was great but the burger was really disappointing. Never had such a pathetic soggy burger ever before in London. And so was the mint tea, I don’t believe throwing in a tea bag and two slices of lemon in a cup of hot water makes lemon mint tea, did not see mint anywhere. The only thing good of what we ordered was the chips. And to top it all there was a lady who was homeless/ and mentally unstable trying to scare my 4year old little boy. And the staff did nothing about it. I might sound mean to some, but I was out with family to have a quiet dinner, and here you go all gone for a toss. There is nothing Lebanese about the food here. Pathetic is all I say. Go somewhere else, save your money and your sanity.

Tunnel Meals has become one of my favorite places to grab a quick meal in London! There are a wide range of meals on the menu, with many options for vegetarians/vegans as well. The food is cooked fresh in front of you, and you can really taste the quality of the ingredients. Tunnel Meals has some of the best falafel — not too dry and crispy on the outside! The first picture below is a box with falafel and feta cheese (comes with your choice of rice/chips/salad) and the second is a mixed appetizer box (with labneh (yogurt), grape leaves, and Greek salad), but I would also recommend the wraps and burgers — you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu! The feta cheese they use here is amazing. Everything is very affordable. It is also very conveniently located near both Charing Cross and Embankment stations, and is open until fairly late. Would highly recommend!

This is a lovely little restaurant!! We found this after one of their staff were promoting their falafels a little while ago. These were so lovely and tasty(but we had already eaten our lunch) so we decided we would definitely go back on our next visit to London. We visited a few weeks ago and we’re not disappointed. Although the tunnel meals look small from outside it is a good size, very clean, heated outdoor seating, and a with a great varied menu. The staff are so lovely and friendly and their food is so delicious. The service from all staff is amazing!! We will definitely be back soon!!

Ordered sat down and after 10 min the guy came to the table and said sorry we lost your order what did u order. After another 20 min I enquired where is the food. Was told to go in and ask the chef. I asked the chef who did not even look up. It’s coming. Food finally came and it was not nice. Chips were a really small portion. And shawarma didn’t have a nice taste. Lack of sauce essential for a good shawarma. Overall very ppor service and worse food.

I went to this particular place after the terrible show at London Dungeons. However, the real horror show started here. I was left mortified firstly at the lack of flavour and character that my Lamb Kofta possessed. I got a burger too, which was OK. Got a side portion of chips and rice. The rice wasn’t too bad actually. My friend ordered a lamb shawarma wrap which tasted sweeter than a box of Turkish Delights. Altogether, a humble and amazingly cheap..wait for it..£42. Enough said.

  • AUGUSTINE GEORGE

The food seems overpriced for the content and quality. We ordered Biriyani, Chicken Shawarma and Chicken shish. Biriyani seems to be out of flavour- just rice steamed with Chicken curry. Chicken Shawarma also lacks the normal taste. Chicken shish is the only average thing I would suggest there. This place is not crowded and can find a seat at all times. Friendly staff and hence the rating.

The best find for me in London for a cheap, affordable yet tasty Lebanese food. The staff were extremely friendly and gave good options when I was struggling to decide what to have. Although the presentation of the dish could be improved, the taste is next to none! Absolutely banging kebab and the salad was just out of the world. I'll definitely visit this place once again.

Please note that there is a service charge (12.5%) for nothing. And the prices on the menu are for the small portions. Too expensive for the portions. I requested non-spicy burger for my kid but they provided extra-spicy one. The place is located under tunnel. I don’t recommend any trail of this restaurant.

This place is fine if you want to grab something quick. Don't expect authentic Mediterranean taste. The pricing is not cheap, a small shawarma costs around £7. We were shocked to see that we were charged a service charge of 12.5% from this place which cannot be justified.

Service fee to high which was not mentioned by anyone when ordering the food. The service was 50/50 as the staff didn’t knew what’s on their menu and the combinations. Good for a quick meal, but nothing else, not recommending if you want to relax and have a good dinner!

Went out for a day in London with my daughter and stopped at Tunnel Meals - such nice little place. The service is so good and caring and the food was really really good! Would recommend definitely !! And definitely will go back if in the neighbouring next time... a great little place for Halal food if you don't wan to spend too much and grab a quick bite! Will go back definitely ⭐

  • Zubair M

This is a real review unlike the fake one. They are very expensive not cheap. They do service charge when they do nothing. You have to collect the food . Their customers are just people passing by not regular. Humous was £5.50 for a small plate. They aditised 20% of if you spend £20 or more but refused to give it. Don't go. Last night I vomited. The food is that bad

It's okay. The falafel were themselves okay but the wrap was a bit bland... Not much sauce, and no offer of spicy sauce, falafel and lettuce mostly. My daughter enjoyed the lamb, but the chips were awful, those ended up in the bin. Par for the course in central London I suppose, but I was hoping for a bit better from the review rating.

  • Ali Simmons

Me and my friend ate here recently. The hummus was bland and had too much tahini, lacked balance and flavour. Baba ganoush definitely tasted stale and lacked flavour. Rice and grills were okay and edible. Managed to eat most of it. However, after the meal we both had to rush to the toilet and had an upset tummy, hence the low rating.

  • R.

Great food. Only halal option i could find in the area. Regardless, I'd recommend anyone around to go check it out. Nice, affordable food that doesn't taste greasy or oily. Especially pleased with the fact that they had lamb burgers considering how hard it was for me to find a place that sells lamb burgers. Wonderful.

  • Joseph Joseph

Please note that there is a service charge (12.5%) for nothing. And the prices on the menu are for the small portions. Too expensive for the portions, frozen meats and dirty environment. And this is definitely NOT a TURKISH restaurant.

Found this little restaurant by accident whilst working local - decided to pop in for lunch - had a chicken Shish wrap meal large £11.50 - and it was so tasty - maybe a little over priced for size of meal but 10/10 for flavour and the staff was very welcoming and cheerful. Def be back again in the future …

Update: Guys are always greeting all customers with a smile. They are open during second lockdown. Have been going to them for lunch weekly now and was never disappointed. Go try their delicious food. Support small local business — One of the best falafels in London, Friendly team. Must try their sauces

  • Susannah Wight

This is a nice place under arches but very disappointing in practice. Unfortunately the falafel wrap I had today was scarcely warm, much less tasty than most falafel wraps are and, worst of all, not rolled up in a way I could eat it. It fell apart so bits were all over the place. Go elsewhere.

  • Nicolas Nisperos

Up-charged me for a larger wrap to begin with. It was very small with no sizable difference for my he small wrap. Bad service, left me hungry walking away. Charged me extra for sitting to eat even though I order paid and picked up at the counter. Avoid this place. Not good bang for your buck.

  • Wesley Hirst

This was a lovely find. The service is friendly, the food and drinks are delicious. The pizzas we ordered were completely made to order, no imported dough, all made by hand. The mocha was far better than any of the chain coffee shops.

Quite suspicious that all their 5 star reviewers have only wrote 1 review. They are obviously fake. I went there it was ok but thought was quite expensive for the portion size. I have given one star because of the attempt to mislead customers by all these fake reviews.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Fast food on the go. We grabbed a quick bite here on a Saturday. The service was quick and the food is good. We had a lamb Shawarma and a chicken Shawarma. Chicken won! Good place to go to for quick bite, and yes, it's Halal. More

I don't recommend it at all, I could've eaten better food with this price. Street food And so expensive based on the low quality Fried calamari, prawns & chicken are all the same taste And they charged 12.5% service! When we sat on tables outside in the cold !

  • Tehreen Hussain

Highly disappointed with the food and hygiene. The prices are incredibly high for the useless quality of food that they provide. There are much better places than this in London. ALSO BEWARE !! ALL THE 5 STAR REVIEWS HERE ARE FAKE BY SOME RANDOM FAKE ACCOUNTS.

Chicken shawarma wrap was pretty poor. Wrap was barely warm let alone toasted. Chicken wasn't fully warmed. Didn't have enough chili or garlic sauce. The guy behind the counter got aggravated when asked for more sauce! Also very small for £6.50

We popped in here between tours and are so glad we did! Very unsuspecting atmosphere, with seating outside for a nice breeze. The service was excellent and the food was even better. I forgot to take a pic of the meals before scarfing them

This place was absolutely vile. Their food is ridiculously overpriced and majority of it is bland. The food left me with a tummy ache. This place is in desperate need of some redecoration and flavour. I would give zero stars if I could.
