I had an exceptional experience at the Turkish Embassy and Turkish House in New York. The location is superb, providing convenient access. The services offered were truly wonderful, showcasing the warm hospitality of Turkish culture. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a positive and enriching cultural experience.
Honestly the rudest humans I have ever came across. They will not answer phones. If the do they’re extremely rude. I got in emergency situations and instead of helping she got super defensive. They could really used some employees with basic manners
The new building is very nice after many years of waiting, however, the wait time is a little excessive. I went there only to pick up my ID and had to wait almost 40 minutes - I recommend having a section for expedited cases such as pick ups!
The staff at the Turkish Consulate in NYC are the epitome of professionalism. Right from the entrance, you're met with a warm welcome. The employees are notably well-educated and assist with utmost respect and professionalism. Moreover, the
Praying I never have to come here again. Our appointment was for 11:15 a.m. we arrived at 10:55 a.m. and checked in. I had a ticket and my parents had their own separate ticket only one number after mine. We sat and waited for 1 hour and 20
Had a nasty Person on the phone. I read online that as a Jewish person traveling to Turkey could be a concern and was advised to call the Consulate. I did so for all the reading I did and the person from the Consulate was rude and said your
Went with my dad today for several procedures. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. Both of us were able to complete everything and get our questions answered. It was such a relief because government papers and procedures can
Can somebody answer on phone ? Useless phone number provided, why? Is anyone inside building working? We call for important information and never get answers to phone call! How can citizens get answers from consulting? No phone no email no
OMG ! never had a such bad experience, at first before going to the consulate,I checked the review on the internet and I realized that most people were complaining on the facts that the staff were rude. Well, it is truth!!!! Please if you
Nice and clean building. Staff are friendly. If you are here for Turkish ID or anything that requires biometric photograph, you have to do it outside. There is a place close to the consulate which they follow the photo requirements. That
Highly efficient, informative web site needs to be reviewed by customers before going to this office. It helps alot regarding preparation, required documents gathering. Making Online appointment cuts down the waiting time to nearly zero.
Absolutely ridiculous! They complicate everything. Half of the employees are barely doing any work. What’s the point of giving appointments if I have to wait for 2 hours? Seems like they got a bunch of people from Turkey who don’t know
I was at NY Turkish Consulate to renew my mom’s passport. The lady, whose name is NIDA ERYILMAZ, WAS NOT friendly, professional, helpful and communicating clearly at all. I think she needs more training about treating her customers
Extremely professional, punctual, courteous and attentive. We were called our turn within minutes of arriving as every service service booth handles different subject matters. Very clean!! Thank you. Proud to be Turkish
When going to submit documents for visa, be prepared to wait indefinitely((( Visited Turkish Consulate for visa issue. Appointment was schedule for 9:50am, however I was not called until 10:40am
I have had visited Turkish consulate for 2 years for different applications. And every time I got a great service. The security personnel were humble and guided me through the consular section
The staff who work here, including the people who answer the phone, seem unprofessional in their job. Poor communication skills and need training in their jobs or should be replaced very soon.
It's a consulate where consular services are offered. However, no matter what you are there for, expect to wait and wait and wait and wait even longer to hear your number called.
Majority of Turkish people are extremely rude people, I have never seen such rudeness, particularly those working public places, embassies, Istanbul airports is worst, etc
Very fast and friendly service! I appreciate all the assistance and smooth process. Thank you for following our true leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’s footsteps as a team!
Everything I had to get done was taken care of in a timely manner. Very professional, pleasant, and helpful staff. Appointments definitely cut down on waiting time!!
This place does not have a camera to take pictures for IDs. Its 2023, we can do better. Lets buy a camera and save 30 minutes on each person.
I wish they would treat their own citizens well. Employees should be trained in tolerance and courtesy.
Turkish consulate staff is very professional and polite and help me with my business needs.
the employee at the front desk gave the wrong number and we had to wait 1.5 hours
Amazing thanks for the service! Fast & prompt, cant wait to be back. ❤️ …
Very helpful staff. Especially Mrs. Evin. And all other staff. (Necib)
