I needed some appliances and a piano moved and hired Two Men and a Truck because of their name. I should have trusted all the negative reviews warning me away. Not only were they nearly 4 hours late, causing me to miss a specialist appointment and be ridiculously late for work, they brought muddy equipment into the house. After taking an unbelievably long time to move several of the items, they then sat in the driveway for 45 minutes waiting for the owner to bring someone else. Once they were finished, the owner took off leaving an employee at the end of my driveway, who I then had to drive in my own vehicle to the storage unit. When it came time for the final bill, I was expecting a discount for all the inconvenience, hassle, and having my time disrespected (owner shrugged his shoulders when I mentioned the 4 hours late and missed appointment and work), but not only was there no discount, they tried to charge me an additional $500!! With the excuse that my stuff was heavier than they thought. I had described my appliances and piano in writing, in person, and on the phone, and then did a walk through with them when the arrived. On all 4 occasions, they said all looked good and let's go. Never a mention of any additional costs. When I brought this up and said I would be happy to pay the original agreed upon amount, they threatened to charge me daily interest and harass me weekly until I paid their additional charges. Never again with this company. I'm sure they will post some response saying they've developed a new policy to make sure this doesn't happen again, but when I experienced the same issues as numerous other people on here, doesn't seem that they are serious about customers, good customer service, or about building a business through a good reputation. This was a nightmare.

We booked Two Men and a Truck Kingston to move two frail seniors from a retirement lodge in Amherstview Ontario to a lodge in Gananoque. On the morning of the move, the two seniors travelled to their new home, one via wheelchair transport, and the other via volunteer driver. My wife, a family friend of the two, remained in Amherstview with the bedding, furniture, clothes, and medical support devices. She received a call from the company saying the workers had "not turned up" and the move would have to happen tomorrow. This resulted in me, also a volunteer support to the two seniors, having to use my own SUV and trailer (a round trip of over 160 kms) to bring medical devices, bedding, and clothing for the two to get through the night. The move was carried out in an acceptable manner the following day. We asked for compensation for the anxiety and discomfort the seniors were placed in, and the driving, gas, and additional time we put into the move, but they most they would do was offer an apology and a 5 percent discount, amounting to about $60. This in no way balances the lack of punctuality, professionalism and concern for their clients.

In all my career I have never had such a terrible experience with movers. First they showed up with two trucks and only one was necessary for what I had to move. Instead of not using or charing me for the second truck, they packed only a few items in it. Secondly they charged me for 7 hours and 45 minutes, most of which they spent talking amongst themselves. I hired movers to avoid heavy lifting especially with an injured back and still had to do lifting because they came ill prepared without lifting straps. One of them took 20 minutes to figure out how to park a truck and still couldnt get it right. I had to walk away before telling them to give me the keys and I would do it myself. Made me late for a family members celebration of life that I expected to be at because of the small amount I needed moved. I 1000% would recommend avoiding this company at all cost. Nice people, terrible work. Stay away

Well, first of all the wrong size truck was sent . And they were late as well. But after a rocky start , they were respectful of the contents, and certainly listened to what we wanted. Can’t say enough about the men loading and unloading the truck. More than helpful. Two of the men had helped pack up our house. I thought that was nice. Having them to help with the move felt very comforting. They really showed respect for us and care of our belongings. They assured me that they were not going until everything was unloaded and in our apartment. I think moving is a very stressful procedure. Things are going to happen. But we were extremely pleased with Two Men And A Truck. I would highly recommend them.

I recently had Kingston Two Men and a Truck move some items from my father's retirement home to other family members. Fabian was very helpful and patient discussing the different pick ups and drop offs. The quote was fair. The movers, led by Kent, showed up ontime and introduced themselves to me. They wrapped the pieces of furniture and moved them with great care. The helpers - Uche and KC were efficient and respectful both during pickup and dropoff. They rolled out red carpets in my home and followed my requests in a polite and friendly manner. I would recommend Kingston Two Men and a Truck and would not hesitate to use them again.

The company billed from 9:00-9:56am, when they showed up at the last moment, at 0956hrs. The moving job took place from 10:00am till 2:30pm, and was completed at 2:30pm. They departed my house at 2:30pm. The company billed us from 2:30pm to 6:00pm because of their use of public transportation, which is not anything I can control. So even though the actual moving job was only 4.5 hours long, they billed us for 9 hours. Do not use this company if they need to use public transportation. The moving men were good, but the billing is ridiculous, because I ended up paying double their estimate.

The team that helped us move our Daughter were an absolute pleasure to work with, especially considering what had to be done. This was not a large move, but the two flights of narrow stairs in an old building were definitely a challenge for them (this is why we hired someone else to do it...) The team(sorry forget their names) got everything down, into the truck, then into the basement at the new location safely with no damage to walls or items, and they did so happily. I would definitely recommend not just Two Men and a Truck Kingston, but this team in particular!

I would call this company back at any time I need moving service. They were able to get the job done at a date that was convenient and quick for me. The movers called ahead and got to the job site as the promised time. The movers were professional, courteous, polite, considerate and respectful to everyone and the property. I had bought kitchen cupboards and needed them delivered to my rental property. The movers set the cabinets exactly where I instructed them. Everything was smooth from beginning to end. This is a no fuss, no muss company to do business with.

Lovely folks but ridiculously expensive. Everyone was lovely to deal with but if you are on a budget, this is not your place to book. I recently did a TINY move for my dad that was 4 hrs. max with travel time included, 3 hrs. of labour, and it cost over $1000.oo. He moved with all the same stuff 18 mos. ago and cost was $450. They have a mechanical lift on the back of the truck that takes FOREVER to go up and down, adding many, many minutes to something that I ramp could handle so much more efficiently.

Our move went without a hitch right from the first contact until the end of the move. They were on time and completed the move on quote. The team led by Kent were so efficient, polite courteous and energetic. They were even humming and singing their favorite tunes while complimenting each other on their work. Their wrapping skills were phenomenal ensuring our belongings were well taken care of and put us at ease. We would definitely recommend this company!

I told them weeks before my move my main concern was my 80" television dismounting and mounting it back in my new place . They lied. They tell me during the move they cannot mount it in my new place cause they don't provide the necessary tools. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They tell you one thing but do the opposite. Paid 930.00$ for 5 hours and they REFUSED to do a simple task which I explicitly told then I wanted.

We had a move set up for the weekend for my parents they were extremely late we had to get our own truck and start no communication what's so ever... I finally spoke to a lady in the office Alexandra who was so lovely took the time to speak to me apologized and seemed very sincere. I would never recommend this company as the Owner is extremely rude and non professional

The three gentlemen were on time and very polite and paid attention to detail. They took very great care of our stuff. It was a great experience, they put together what needed and placed where we wanted. Very upbeat and pleasant guys. We would recommend them to everyone needing to be taken care of properly. The team moved my mom from her apartment to a retirement home in a different city. The crew was great- professional and quick, and were very careful with the furniture. It was a very long day for them and we appreciated their hard work! Would totally hire Two Men and a Truck again!

Used this company to move my stuff from kingston to Nappanee last month. The movers were very professional, I was not at the pick up point but met them at the drop off point. My furniture were all intact, well wrapped and no damage. I will recommend them highly. A++

I called to get a moving estimate and Alexis was courteous to talk to and quick to give me a complete estimate over the phone and via email. I had to amend my moving details, and she was quick to send me a revised estimate. A good experience.
