Today May 19th I got not very good experience I never had before with UHAUL. I came to this branch of UHAUL at 3-3:15 pm. I was asking a reservation of 6x12 closed trailer or 5x8 closed trailer. The representative ( the name is Sherry(or Cherry) I don’t know how it spelled properly) said that no any available trailers in whole Arizona state. Can You believe that no any available trailers both sizes in whole state? I couldn’t believe in it. Sherry was drunk or with hangover (I couldn’t stay on 4-6 feet apart, because her breath was with terrible smell like she was drunk or with hangover. I think she doesn’t know how to work or she doesn’t want to work. Hope the supervisor will teach Sherry how to work and being sober at work place. I am repeat customer for UHAUL and always had good experience with UHAUL. When I left this branch of UHAUL I called to another branch of UHAUL in Gilbert and the guy, who was answering, made quick reservation for 6x12 closed trailer. The reservation # 87837253.

Worst customer service on the planet. Called the number listed to ask if they had propane available. Was told they had over 300 gallons. Drove over 2 minutes later and parked by the propane and rang the bell. There was a “sold out” sign by the propane however still rang the bell as we were just told they had some available and thought maybe they forgot to take the sign down. This employee straight up walked over and asked me if I knew how to read. Explained yes I actually do know how to read and that I JUST called and was told they had over 300 gallons. Asked me again if I read the sign. Don’t really care about the sign. An employee told me that was the service center I talked to. Again, as a customer, not my problem. I called the number listed and was told they had propane. Absolutely terrible customer service experience. Will never go back to this location or rent from uhaul if at all possible.

The worst service I've ever received. The location was supposed to open at 7 am but no one showed up until 7 45. I called the regional office at 7 20, they said they'd find out what was going on and call me back, but never called. When they finally showed up they offered us a discount of 10 cents per mile, until they realized that we were driving to MT. Then said they could give me $30. We loaded the truck and went back the second day to get the car trailer . the lights on the trailer didn't work so they told me I'd have to unload the truck myself and load another truck, or wait a couple of hours for roadside assist (in the uhaul parking lot!) 3 hrs later (and simple fuse replaced) we're finally on the road.

I just want to give glowing reviews for Jennifer A. She made our entire experience the best we have ever had. She was kind and patient, and took the time to help us figure out the best, most affordable option for our situation. Renting a van is so stressful, but Jennifer put us completely at ease, and by the time we left, we felt so blessed to have crossed her path. I wish I was a great writer so I could articulate just how amazing she is. She is a great asset to the U-haul organization and deserves all the awards and acknowledgments. She truly made this the best experience we have ever had. If you go into U-haul, make sure you ask for Jennifer A. You won't regret it!

Terrible customer service. I went up to inquore if i could pick up my truck early. I was notified that they didnt have any one way trucks available. In an attempt to figure out what that means, because my pick up time is in 2 hours, i was informed that USUALLY one ways are more reliable. I responded back with "so, that means that even though i made a reservation, there may or may not be a truck". He let me know thats thays a gamble i am willing to accept at the time of making a reservation. How is this even possible. Do they not understand that movong requires scheduling? And getting across the country with belongings requires an ontime truck rental.

My wife ordered a hitch install last week for our road trip the following week. At the last minute, informed by U-haul Cave Creek that parts would not be in until following week and there was nothing that could be done. Therefore, we cannot go on our trip. No offer to remedy, no apology. Nada. Call corporate, talk to clueless rep. they schedule install at another branch. I drive all the way over, and there is no service available because branch being remodeled. have now been sent to a third location for install tomorrow. Trying to verify, but on hold forever and cannot talk to branch to verify This is a terribly run company. Period.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a company. Extremely unprofessional staff, they wasted hours of my time, gave me a truck that was on the verge of breaking down, didn’t provide the dolly or blankets I rented and harassed me after I extended my rental by an additional 24 hours (saying they would call the police if my rental wasn’t returned on time—which it was!). I wouldn’t wish this kind of treatment on anyone. It made an already stressful move completely unbearable. I rarely write reviews and have never written a negative one. But this experience was that terrible. Please avoid this location!

The 26' truck we initially received from this location was absolutely not roadworthy and I suspect would have failed an ADOT inspection for brakes alone. The steering was very loose and was leaking from multiple locations. We were told to call roadside, who then came out and deemed the truck unrepairable. So we were sent 25 miles away to pick up another truck only to be told they didn't have it. If the truck was dealt with by roadside assistance we should have had another truck delivered to us, not have to drive and find another one. Can't tell you how badly I think of Uhaul now.

Reading the other reviews, it appears others have also received the same horrible attitude and experience with the infamous tattooed girl. We have her name now (on her name badge). So watch out for the young and very self entitled, Jenesis...goes by Jen. She is smart mouthed, better than anyone else, risk for this company and apparently thinks you should shake in her awesome, lazy and argumentative presence. She needs to work for this companies competition. The older guy there later profusely apologized for her behavior once he was well away from her. I'm sure somebody is afraid

The gentleman we dealt with in the morning to have our tow dolly taken off was less than polite, courteous, or even professional. He complained about the way the first uHaul company strapped my car on and then proceeded to use profanity in his anger. He seemed miserable to be at work and overall, extremely unprofessional. The second two gentlemen we dealt with when bringing the truck back to drop off were very polite and friendly. Not just professional, but friendly. It was an easy process to drop off/return the truck, which I greatly appreciated!

I drove the truck, a 15' Box Truck, less than 28 miles. When I stopped to fill up the truck 1/4 mile away at the Q-T gas station it required $35.00 for gas. About 11 gallons. That's about 2 miles per gallon. This is horrible. If this what it costs to drive a U-Haul Truck next time I'll rent a larger Budget Rental Truck with a diesel engine that gets 10 times the fuel efficiency. Great location, great service with friendly Staff. Horrible MPG.

Huge shout out to Terrance for helping me pay my bill, Had WEEKS WORTH OF ISSUES WITH THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE ON THE PHONE Trying to pay my bill and Terrance took care of it super fast STAY AWAY from James he’s worked there for YEARS AND LOVES HIS POWER fine with charging me $350 for a weekend van rental But wants to lecture me on returning Rentals late when there store won’t even answer a phone Shout out Terrance James hope you enjoy uhaul !

Rented truck to pickup furniture purchase. Their trucks have come up in the world! A/C was great, handling OK and wasn't the gas guzzler I expected. The only drawback: You can't use your own insurance coverage, and their hard sell tactic of "what if" and them requiring cash/credit reimbursement on da spot sounds quite leading. Clock your mileage carefully, since they rely on computers (as if they don't err).

Our U-Haul experience was a last minute event and they were able to provide us the needed equipment as well as excellent customer assistance both on the phone and in person including the gentleman who was cleaning the returns who did our check in. All around start to finish great service and the only location (20618 N Cave Creek Rd)⋅ I will use going forward. Thank you, you have a great team.

The team at the U-Haul Cave Creek location was superb! I made more than a few trips there for supplies (and another truck) as we were loading up my old house and each time they were fast, efficient and friendly. I never thought I would say this, but the most satisfying part of selling one house and moving into the new house was working with the team at U-Haul to make the transition happen

Horrible customer service! I got a guy who was in a mood while I was renting a tow dolley did not ask me how long I was renting it for and he just put whatever days he wanted plus he made me return it to another location, which was much further away from the location I rented it from. He should not be working in customer service! Had a bad experience never going there again!

After the original UHaul pickup place didn't have the truck I'd reserved in place or on time, I came here and Emily was SUPER efficient, SUPER calming, and SUPER good at her job. She made my visit there enjoyable and smooth, after making far too many phone calls to the original place and UHaul's Customer service line. Thank you for such awesome service, Emily.

My favorite U Haul center in Phoenix. James was super helpful with a bike rack and they gave me a great price on a hitch along with the bike rack. I looked at a bunch of other bike shops and sporting goods stores for a bike rack that can hold 4 bikes. They were hard to find or too expensive, but U-Haul has several in stock and great prices.

This place is unbelievably unprofessional. They called us and confirmed our pick up for this morning and yet when we get there at 6am for self pick up, we had no truck, we were told that it was down for maintenance. Why that didn’t tell us that before? Idk. Save your money and hire my friends and I lol this place is a waste of time.

We rented a uhaul this week for 3 days in Phoenix in 112 degree heat w no working AC. When we told them about it they didnt care. They did nothing for us. My husband explained that it was probably a relay switch. The guy at counter was very unfriendly. Its Phoenix and hot.

While you are driving back into town after a night out in Cave Creek up north it is just great to drive past this U-Haul Moving & Storage center. The red and florescent lights really give off a warm and welcoming glow. Thanks for making a nice a peaceful evening drive.

Without exception, the worst company I've ever worked with. Their staff is confused and seems to be untrained. Avoid these guys at all costs. Long, long waits to talk to someone and don't bother to call them as they won't answer the phone anyway. Run for your life

You guys were great! Had a blow out on the highway and roadside helped get someone out as soon as possible. Also, I did not ask for anything other than a few extra hours to get my stuff unloaded and I got a discount due to the blow out. Excellent customer service!

I just bought propane, but everything worked. I pushed the button & a woman was walking out b4 I could walk back to the truck. She filled the tank, charged my card & sent me a text w/ receipt. I don't think I was there 10 minutes.

Rented a trailer at an affordable rate. Staff wasn't overly personable but they were fast, efficient, and straight forward. They attached the trailer for me and allowed me to drop it off after hours. Very easy transaction.

Called multiple times yesterday and again today just to be on hold for about 3 hours combined. On hold now while writing this review too...... Need a box truck to move and can't get a hold of ANYONE

Always a problem to get printed receipt for the rental. And also 7 out of 10 no receipt via email. Each time I have to spend additional time(30 to 40 minutes) to call and ask for it. Ridiculous

I just got a king-sized mattress bag here but they also have boxes and tools and everything that you could possibly need for moving. The guys working here really seem to know their stuff.

From top to bottom the guys that i worked with were great. I didn’t catch anyone’s name cause I was having a rough weekend but those dudes really made it better. Get those guys a raise!

Employee came out and yelled at me for parking my car in a parking spot. He blocked me so I couldn't leave. Not worth the money to be disrespected like that. Can't reach a manager.

All went great from online reservations to return! Rented a 26 foot truck. Move went great. They did run out of blankets so I did not get my 10 blankets. But that is ok.

This location is great for many services. Truck or trailer rental and propane tank filling is tops. Very friendly, personable and honest.

The truck was a complete dump and gave it me on less than a qtr tank full. The office staff was great however.
