This was my first experience with a storage facility and here is why I am giving them such a bad rating. I went in on a Thursday to purchase a unit. I liked them because all units were armed, you required a key code to get in, and I was under the impression that someone was supposed to be on property at all times. The only way they know an alarm is going off is from them hearing it on property. It doesn’t send them a signal or anything. The following Sunday I moved all of my items and go to get into the property. My code didn’t work. Of course they were closed. No emergency number, no one on property. I had a trailer full of items and NOWHERE to put them. I walked back to my unit and my lock was on there but another had been put on there too. I was left with no alternatives than to put all of my stuff back and try again another day. I called Monday to express my concern and guess what they did? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. I was told they accidentally put me as moving OUT instead of MOVING IN on my contract? No apology, no compensation or discounted rate, nothing. Once they got me squared away I could finally move into my unit the next day. They had to call and ask for my payment again because someone deleted my card info. Needless to say they were disorganized. I would be careful with them. If you are moving in make sure they are open. There is NO way to get ahold of them after hours if there is an issue.

The people who run it are really nice. They didn't have the size of shed I needed when I went there to rent and they rented me a bigger shed for the price of the smaller one and knocked off some of the rent because I came in the middle of the month. The place is always clean . If I night drop my payment I always have a receipt sent to my email . I have rented from this U-Store off and on for over 25+yrs. Almost forgot to say there's 24hr access. No matter your work hours you can drop off or pick up your stuff.

There should be more lighting on the buildings. They say they have security I've never seen any and when your building DOESN'T have a light on the outside or INSIDE because of Insurance reasons I was told it just doesn't make me able to use my unit 24/7. ITS TOO DARK! I've ask for a bigger unit and was told they would put me on a waiting list but 3 months later I still haven't been offered a bigger unit or even adding a small unit would've help. Thank you

The new management running the place are top notch, extremely helpful and always willing to go the extra mile for you. They live on site so I always feel like my step is definitely safe and having 24-hour access is basically the bomb.com LOL

Love the alarm door locks fitted to each unit. It totally changed the game in the thieving business, there is no way you are getting into my Fort Knox storage unit! #Merica

Been with them two years, never had a problem with them, always work with me if I am late. Will recommend people there if they need a storage unit
