I use U.S. Bank for my checking, savings, and two credit cards. The lines at this location are fast. I like their no annual fee Cash Plus credit card because I can choose two categories like cell phones or home utilities to earn 5% cash back. When I redeem points on their Flex Perks card, I don't get charged airport or airline fees. You can also use points to pay for the annual fee. I can find a branch in most neighborhoods and cities. Unfortunately, I can't recommend U.S. Bank to my QuickBooks customers that I set up, fix, clean up, train, and provide the software for a discount because unlike other banks, you can't download their transactions directly into QuickBooks desktop Pro or Premier like Chase, Bank of America, BECU, and other financial institutions at no charge. What's so difficult about enabling that?
I have no idea why this branch has poor reviews but this US Bank location is incredible. Their customer service is unmatched to any other US Bank branch that I've ever visited. The staff here are so personable and just put a human touch to everything when it comes to money management. It's mostly compromised of professional ladies which I love to see and every single one of them from the top down are exceptional, knowledgeable, proactive and always create the best case scenario for your money (within the parameters of this banking style). I highly recommend US Bank and this particular branch in Northgate. I make the drive all the way from downtown for the staff alone.
I've been with us bank for years but cannot recommend them anymore. Having made an online appointment and getting multiple text and email reminders from the bank, no one from us bank attended. I tried to contact the bank multiple times and no one followed up. And multiple times recently I have been unable to even get cash from the atm. Not professional and not reliable, 2 qualities i require from my bank. Plus the opening hours are terrible. 3 hours on Saturday, always a queue, and closed on Monday. I cannot recommend this branch or bank. Updated - now they are completely closed on the Weekend - even less convenient!
Was told I could not cash my paycheck because my account was new. I've been at this same exact location for over 3 years. I am a single mother living in Seattle with bills to pay, but I guess that is hard to understand? When I tell the front desk customer service representative that I have been there over 3 years, she just proceeded to tell me I was wrong and just so I was aware she was the only person available at the time. So if you have BILLS to pay and MOUTHS to feed and you want to cash your check after being a loyal customer for over 3 years. You should probably NOT come here.
I've had a U.S. Bank account for three years now, and this was the only bank that would cash my insurance check the same day and at least give me a portion of those funds. The manager really seemed concerned, and I won't forget his professionalism. The cash I got was when I was broke, and thankfully I got a lot done that day because of U.S. bank. Absolutely recommended. As a disabled wartime veteran, I appreciate the free premium checking services.
ATM wasn't working. I contacted the US Bank fraud prevention department and they said a transaction was pending and there was nothing they could do. They made no effort to inform the branch or check the machine. I tried calling the branch and they didn't pick up the phone. I don't know if they're still in business.
They seem to want to the least amount of work possible. This has happened on multiple occasions. It seems that US Bank customer service has clearly gone down in competence and service. The branch manager or assistant manager who ever he is need a refresher course in Notarizing in the state of Washington.
This location is right by my house the staff here is super helpful and friendly. Manny was so patient and helped me re open my account with them. This is the only bank that I will ever do business with. Been a loyal customer since 2010.
I love Northgate US Bank! Everyone is so friendly and, in my case, when I come in, many of the tellers and personal bankers shout" Barb"! It should be called the CHEERS bank of Seattle.
Kristen has helped me more than once, always courteous and professional. The US Bank Northgate branch has been our family favorite for many decades.
8.00 to get a cashiers check to MY MONEY. Then they just took 15.00 as a monthly service fee. I closed my account and will never be back again
