I have an account at U.S. Bank for my personal checking, savings, and two credit cards. I like their no annual fee Cash Plus credit card because I can choose two categories like cell phones or home utilities to earn 5% cash back on my purchases in those categories. When I redeem points on their Flex Perks card, I don't get charged airport or airline fees. You can also use points to pay for the annual fee. I can find a branch in most neighborhoods and cities. Unfortunately, I can't recommend U.S. Bank to my QuickBooks customers that I set up, fix, clean up, train, and provide the software for a discount because unlike other banks, you can't download their transactions directly into QuickBooks desktop Pro or Premier like Chase, Bank of America, BECU, and other financial institutions at no charge. What's so difficult about enabling that?
Horrible customer service. when i came to open my business bank account, it took Nicole Higgins almost an hour, she was typing all my information and yawning ( !? ), party all night ? or US Bank don't have free coffee as another bank ?! Today i came to make deposit, and how lucky, she opened her gate, and looked at me. There was no greeting message, no smile, our conversation last 30 seconds like this : Nicole : Our system is down, i can make transaction but i am not sure it will go through Me : uhm....( 2 seconds ) Nicole: What do you want to do ? Me: I will come back then Nicole: OK ! My gosh, this lady ruins my day One more month, don't want to set up another account, i will try to hang on with them until next year, and never come back, nor refer their service to any of my family members and my customers, ever.
I could not believe this bank. I went to open up a IDA account to find out they held a unpaid check for 120.38 since 2012 in the year of Dec 2018 and could not tell me what the check was for or print out what lead up to the expense. Paid the account in full and was told by many people is having problems with this bank. I had to call the east coast U.S. Bank to get what I needed and was told they have the capability of printing this information and recommended if the do not have them call U.S. Bank on the east coast. I will return to the bank today to finish up my IDA account process as the Asian girl with fake big eye lashes said I need a beneficiary to open a IDA bank account so I left yesterday to return today. I could not believe the behavior in this bank but, I will be addressing this today.
The worst customer service. Anthony and Linh were uneducated on the issue that we were dealing with. Instead of learning how to, they were very demeaning and outright rude! They came off as very racist towards this Eritrean family I was helping purchase a car. I’m so glad I do not bank with them! I would pull out all my money out of there and let all my African people know to not step foot in that bank ever! It has been a nightmare dealing with these two supposedly managers at this bank! It’s been one mistake after the other it’s exhausting!!
Horrible experience. Nicole Higgins wasted my time to inform me that there was an address issue. Instead of offering any condolences or other ideas, she simply told me to 'find another residence'. If you want insincere and rushed service and to be treated like sales training material, make sure to go to US Bank on Rainier. I look forward to spending time on the phone with corporate to tell them about my visit as well. This woman calls herself a manager yet has the transactional etiquette of a Wal-Mart greeter. Thanks for nothing.
Every time I have been there for more than a deposit or withdrawal, it seems too complicated for them to complete in one day. Once I get frustrated and end up going to another location, I am usually well taken care of in a matter of minutes. The only positive here is the amazing security officer at the door.
Nicole Higgins saw me nearly breaking down under stress related to my finances. She went out of her way to help me, twice. Thank you. The whole staff has never been anything but friendly and helpful.
