I am an employee. My car tires got slashed. I was harassed at work. I went there for help. I was tire of no one not doing anything. Dawes Arrested me for asking not to get abused anymore. Slott refused to give me the name of the cop who abused me physically. My arms hurt for days. I was threaten by Dawes. he said that I didn’t to tell no one that a cops screams at me and that I was abused! I had a manager Ampili grabbed me by my arm and the police didn’t do anything. My private parts were touch at my job and the UT Police didn’t do anything. This plac is a nightmare. Dawes and the other cop abused me physically and mentally and took me to Parkland and told the staff that everything that I said was made up. I had another cop take advantage of my vulnerability. I place deserves 0 stars. In the process of filing with the EEOC. They took advantage of me because I am Hispanic. I’m traumatized and very scare of the police and this place. Someone please help. I contacted the news. I finally have the courage to give them copy the report I had to file. How dare this place have gatherings about prevention about abuse, when I went to Report abuse, Dawes told me that you don’t Report Domestic Violence. These cops are still working and haven’t been terminated. I will continue to write letters!
Community servants turned tyrants. My wife works for UTSW as a Nurse… you know trying to save lives and keep people safe, which has been no easy feet over the past year and a half. The police force at UTSW, which is responsible for protecting said nurse and her coworkers, apparently believe that it is more important to write tickets to the nursing community that they committed to protect. In a frenzy and low on sleep, my wife failed to come to a COMPLETE stop at a pedestrian crossing area. This was early in the morning and there were 0 pedestrians or traffic in the area, so a rolling stop seemed ok. UTSW police felt otherwise, as they had an officer hidden nearby waiting for the opportunity to pounce on the first vehicle that slipped. Needless to say, the cop issued her a hefty fine along with an unnecessary helping of attitude and smart remarks. I don’t condone breaking the law, but when the judge himself says “this should have been a warning,” maybe it’s time to take a look at how these “officers” spend their time.
Seems that the policy at UT Southwestern is to harass and threaten people who have legitimate complaints in order to try to avoid dealing with the inconvenience. I would state more details, but I’m suing these folks over what happened and thus have to be careful. Steer clear of this whole building. Stay out of the hospitals. It’s not worth what they’ll do to you if you’ve been wronged and try to point it out.
