I’m over this store. I will not ever step foot back in. I placed an order that said it was ready; so I guess there’s a parade going on which idc about. So I had wasted my time coming over “during their store hours that’s listed) however a guard said that all stores along the street for this silly parade going on is closed! So I literally wasted my time walking there and called there no answer of course HOWEVER WHY NOT STATE THAT? Like hey thanks for placing an order however we will close early due to whatever. This is the second time having an issue in a week with them but I definitely will not ever give my business to them again! I prefer online and ship to the house anyway cause I don’t even feel comfortable going especially when no one comes up to ask if you need anything; the dirty looks; etc. I’m cool on this location! Imma end my credit card too it’s really pointless tbh shopping here. Now I gotta waste my time again to else where. Never again!

First of all, let me start by saying that the customer service from start to finish was phenomenal. I was immediately greeted by a staff and was told if I needed any assistance. After showing her the items I wanted, she right away knew all the products and it was very convenient to know she knew their exact spots from all of the items I was willing to purchase. Once I had all the items, she hand me over the basket and I was redirected into the line to purchase my items. After spending a good amount of money at Ulta Beauty, I was amazed by its products and will only trust Ulta Beauty. In fact, they even had designer products and knew that it had to be my only option. They have a great selection of everything as beauty and hygiene is concerned. I’ll most definitely be back very soon and can’t wait for the future outlook from Ulta Beauty. Keep up the awesome work!

I love Ulta . But my experience was so so. A very friendly guy helped me out when i was looking for an untouched fixing spray. He went to have a look in the back and was successful. The next day i went up to a long greyhaired lady, wearing glasses. I was asking for an eyeshadow which seemed to be sold out. She told me: if its not presented on the shelf, its not there. I even asked her once again: you don‘t have it in stock in the back? She answered: „no“, without bothering. Ok, kept browsing. Randomly asked another lady who came up to me very friendly. She made the effort and had a look in the back-et voila, product was found, me as a client was more than happy. In my opinion: Lazy employees are not the best choice to sell products successfully.

Bad customer service. Low stock. I was in this Ulta for a good 30 minutes and no one came to help. Many of the staff were on their phones as if they were on break. I made eye contact with about seven employees, and stood in the same place for ten minutes. A group of five employees were chatting about who knows what. No one helped. None of the products I was looking for were in stock (one of the racks were even empty and only had testers). Beforehand, I even called them (this location) on the phone to check if they had items I was looking for, but upon arrival I only saw the testers. I had already been to another Ulta store prior (on Halsted), but they didn't carry the palette I was looking for. At least THEY helped me.

This Ulta has by been the best one I have gone to in Chicago. The security guard greets you upon entering. Even the security guard knows where their products are located. I've come here during Black Friday for the past two years. They are so organized. The staff is great! I can come in looking like a hot mess or in glam mode and they treat me just as well no matter what. They provide amazing customer service and if they don't have something on the shelf, they'll kindly look for some in the back. If that's not an option, they'll assist you in ordering the product and having it shipped to your home. I love this place. Everyone here goes above and beyond to help you.

I had selected several items to purchase when I noticed that I was being followed and watched by security. I advised the security guard that I may be a black woman, but am not a thief. I then immediately asked to speak with the manger and told her that I am an attorney, who lives on Lake Shore Drive and do not appreciate being racially profiled. I placed the items that I had planned to purchase down and left the store. Then, while purchasing several items at Wolford, I learned that Ulta regularly profiles certain people and uses cues to ensure that they are racially profiled. I have no need to give even one more penny to this company.

I Bought my hair dye from ulta beauty. Very similar to Sephora. The hair dye turned out great even though it was my first time dyeing my hair by myself. but the customer service was great. She spent time picking out colors, making recommendations without pressuring me or rushing me to choose what color I want on my hair. most of the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. I had an absolute pleasant experience and got everything I needed. I definitely recommend this location and friendly staff.

Mari is just the best! She is a master colorist and I love what she is able to do with vibrant colors and balayage! She also has great product knowledge and has helped my hair stay so healthy and grow longer. Beyond my hair quality, I love spending the day in the salon and talking with her. I am happy to consider her a friend after all these years seeing her and love our conversations too! Highly recommend Mari and this salon! It's a great deal getting ULTA rewards points on salon services too!

If there were a negative stars, I would use it. I felt so uncomfortable at this location. We had several associates come up to me and ask me if I needed assistance, all the while looking at my hand to ensure I wasn't stealing a lip gloss I had in my hand. I felt so uncomfortable and singled out. I do not need to be followed, and I honestly felt harassed!! I will never ever come to this location again. They need training in how to treat their customers who have no problem paying for items.

I only shop here because it’s convenient, but it is not an enjoyable experience. Sales associates here get paid to ignore you and converse amongst themselves. I don’t think I’ve ever been asked if I need help or even had my presence acknowledged. I love ultas reward system, but I’d much rather go down the street to Sephora or just order online and pick up in store. It’s an extremely frustrating experience to be completely ignored especially as a woman of color. Do better.

I had so much trouble getting someone to assist me. I finally got someone to help me. She definitely seemed like I was bothering her. I wanted mascara, lip plumper, and some type of lip stain or similar. No real help. Didn't answer any questions I had, as if she didn't have time for me. When I asked about lip stain ( she looked at me confused) I tried to explain my needs. She handed me a red liquid lip color and walked away

I was looking at perfumes with my fiancé and the manager had the security following us around the entire time until we left the store. I have never felt more uncomfortable in my life and will do my best to avoid that location. I’ve seen multiple reviews about how they racially profile and it is one hundred percent true. Too bad, other than that other Ulta stores I’ve been to seem to have professional and friendly staff.

I enjoyed this Ulta. Immediately I walked in there were 3 people available and I asked them where a specific shampoo is and she showed me and answered all my questions. Then I was looking around just to waste some time before my husband picked me up and someone came up to me and said if I needed help and I actually needed a lipstick that I was running out of and he showed me another one and it matched it perfectly!

Both me and my wife had a great experience at Ulta yesterday. We were helprd by Iran and he absolutely delivered a fantastic service. Walked us through several different perfumes and had such a wonderful personality and is very knowledgeble about perfume too! We loved the perfume he selected for us and we'll be back! Again, thank you Iran and Ulta for the great customer service!

I had a mishap at work and had a significant black eye I needed covered for work the next day. Molly in the MAC department sat me down and in 5 minutes had me looking like nothing ever happened!! She was so much fun to work with, had me laughing the whole time and was SO ENJOYABLE! She’s an EXPERT makeup artist and a HUGE asset to ulta on Michigan ave! THANKS MOLLY!!

Needs some floor cleaning, there was makeup all over the floor and product that was just laying on the ground that sells staff employees was just walking right by it with out even picking it up. Trash over flowing that needed to be cleaned and taken out. I was just not impressed with how the store looked. I'm still a fan of ulta stores just not this one...

Mari the color specialist was amazing! She color corrected my hair and gave me the perfect highlights! I loved her consulting. She walked me through all the options and addressed all my questions so patiently! Most importantly, she ensured she took care not to compromise my hair in the process. I left very very happy! Highly recommend her.

I have been going to this Ulta for about a year now. My stylist is Zoe and she’s amazing. I always end up leaving with a great laugh and gorgeous hair. Zoe is professional, courteous and has a huge heart. I moved here from another state so finding someone new was a big deal. I highly recommend this salon and endorse Zoe!!

Find a lot more than I used to. They are starting to carry brands that I like in smaller sizes which are great for travel and economical. Because of their small sizes you can buy fresh products more often . Also you can try samples of things without a huge commitment to things you aren't sure about. Love it!

I really enjoyed my visit to this store. My mom and I were greeted pleasantly when we entered the store and there was plenty of employees around to help out. There were good sales and the lines moved quickly. Everyone was so friendly and the location is very convenient.
