I went to the salon at the Buckhead location and got my haircut by Stephanie W. Do not get your hair cut by her! I told her I want just my dead ends cut and I told her 1 inch. She didn't even look at my hair and said 2-3 inches. She didn't ask me how I wanted my hair cut and she just started cutting away. I asked her how much she was cutting and she said only an inch and I told her I wanted layers in my hair even though she didn't ask me. She did not give me a single layer and cut my hair straight. She also cut off 5inches of my hair. In addition, I asked her about a keratin treatment and told her I never did it before. I also told her I was going to a wedding the next day so I wanted her to style my hair. She didn't tell me that I had to wear my hair pin straight and couldn't even tuck my hair behind my ears or pull it back in a ponytail. At the end, I asked her to style or curl it and she said I couldn't do that for 2 days. She was the worst person I ever got a haircut from! Do not see Stephanie W. unless you want your hair ruined!
First time going to this Ulta. I did appreciate that the staff did not bombard me with "Can you I help you?" after coming in. What I didn't appreciate was the store was a little messy. I was trying to buy new Bare Minerals products and noticed that there were many samples/testers missing. I also noticed this was true of many other brands as I walked around and when I went to try a lot of the makeup, the testers were either empty or damaged i.e. brush missing from mascara, eyeliner needed to be resharpened, pressed powder and blush was shattered, etc. I'm not sure if it was because we just went through the holidays, but I think the staff needs to refresh the store as soon as they can. The store was out of a lot of products too so I couldn't get some of the items I came in for.
**this is not specific to this location but to ulta as a corporation** I placed an order last week and haven’t received any emails or and sort of confirmation on the order but the money DID come out of my account. I called the customer service line and they basically told me there’s nothing they can do about it and I needed to dispute the charge with my bank. You took my money! Why can’t you send me the product?! I asked to speak to their manager and he refused to put his manager on the phone and then HUNG UP on me. Karl from customer service…I hope you lose your job. You guys just lost a loyal customer.
I went here today for Christmas shopping and I wasn’t greeted when I walked in. However, 2 minutes later a white woman walked in and they greeted her with a loud “Welcome In”. I am black and all of the employees are black as well. It’s sad when people of your own race act prejudice and racial profile you. I walked out of this store! If I want to buy anything I will go to another location. I noticed in Buckhead retailers tend to discriminate towards black people
The store was out of stock for several items I wanted. To be fair however, they were stocking items just not what I needed. Also, the customer service could be a bit better. The cashiers seemed to be in a hurry which lends to them not asking if you want to use your points before completing the sale. Which leads to you not saving money on your purchase. Overall the proximity to the hotel is what keeps them at 3 stars. Otherwise I probably would not give that.
Went into Ulta today looking for the perfect red nail color for my warm/olive skin tone before I went to the nail salon today. Drea was so kind and patient to talk me through all things nail color. I purchased two colors on her recommendation. Post nail salon visit, I’m so happy with her recommendation. I usually frequent the Druid Hills location, but I’ll be going to Buckhead from now on. Thx so much Drea!
Although the cleaners that came to the house were good, the administrative response to my concerns was horrible. I was promised calls I never received time and time again. My questions went unanswered. I got stock responses to things very specific to my home. This was true for not only the office staff but also the head of the company. It was very discouraging and not away to run a business
Incredibly rude customer service. Came in and knew exactly what i wanted , still so passive aggressive in getting a perfume out from a locked box and employees seem to be annoyed when asking for this. Kaelin cashier didnt even look at me when i asked to purchase, it was the annoyed look on her face for me. Its worth the drive to go elsewhere please save yourself the poor service.
Clean and spacious store. Compared to other Ulta stores in Atlanta, collection of beauty products is less. They need to check inventory and restock the items. Customer service needs improvement. Store is located in first floor of Buckhead station.
This is a really nice Ulta store. They are well stocked and have a wide selection of cosmetics and other bath and beauty supplies. The staff is always available and helpful.
