I called at 3:30 to book an appointment for eye brow waxing. I asked if there was availability today and the the lady on the phone said they didn’t have anything until 4:30. I gave my information and she said “okay, we’ll see you at 4:30”. I drive 15 minutes to get there. Once I was there an employee that had seen me standing at a station stopped after I said “excuse me”. She took me to the appropriate station and asked me to have a seat and said “they’ll be right with me”. After waiting for an additional 10 minutes I had to call the store’s number to get some assistance. Someone came right over to answer and I told her “it’s me calling” and that I had an appointment at 4:30 for my eyebrow waxing. Five minutes later she appeared with another employee who just stood there so I don’t know why she came. However, the initial lady who went to “check on things” said she had a mix up when she scheduled my appointment and that they could do my brows but it would be in another hour. When I said “no, I have to go” all she said was “okay”. There was no apology, just “okay”. This was handled very unprofessionally. That will be my first and last time seeking their service.

Not normally one to write reviews, but I will today. Went and bought some new makeup. The girl helping was very kind. They told me if I wanted to return makeup to give them my phone number. I declined because I knew I wouldn’t need to return it because it is the makeup I wanted. Unfortunately, when I got home, I realized the makeup I bought, which the employee picked out herself so I did not look inside, was already USED. Ok, every other place you buy from, gives you a receipt, and if you want to take it back you bring it with the receipt. This place ONLY lets you return it if you gave them your phone number. I understand policy etc. But in this case, THEY should be responsible because I did not physically pick out the makeup, the girl helping me did - it is not my fault the makeup was already opened and used. Staff was very unhelpful on the phone and really could careless since I didn’t give my phone number. They gave me USED makeup. Just ridiculous. Will not be back here.

I typically do not leave reviews for anything, especially not bad reviews. However, I was highly disappointed with my experience at this location. When asking for assistance in locating an item (for which they had a tester), I was barked at by the associate and harshly told that the product I was looking for was on the shelf; however, it very clearly was not. I told her it was not there, and she proceeded to stomp over and realize that I was in fact correct. She offered no resolution other than telling me they don't currently have that product in stock. (I went ahead and ordered this product from Amazon because I frankly don't want to support Ulta after such an unsatisfactory experience.) When my shopping companion was ready to check out, she politely informed the cashier that she did not need a bag for her purchase. The cashier proceeded to roll her eyes and make her offense very known. So charming.

Upon entering the store, I was not greeted. I was in the MAC area (front of store by the door) for approx. 10 minutes and no one greeted me (even though two people walked in a couple of minutes after me and was greeted and escorted to where they needed assistance). It was until I turned the corner to search for fragrances, a nice associate asked me if I needed help looking for anything. As I was in the fragrance area, there where two other associates standing and talking. Neither asked if I needed help. As I started to walk towards them, they looked at me and proceeded to walk to another part of the store to continue their chat. The cashier was very kind. However, as a first time customer and giving this store a chance after reading the reviews, I understand the other's concerns. I will not be back.

I was asked 6 times if I needed helped. 3 times from the same person who was following me around the store. It was very obvious she didn’t trust me… maybe cuz I have a big LV bag but that was super annoying as I didn’t feel comfortable browsing at all due to her following me so closely. The other 2 times was from another employee. Last one was from a different employee. I think it’s great to ask someone if they need help but blatantly following them around and keeping a close eye on them while continuing to ask someone for help when they keep saying no I’m just browsing is just rude. Let people be. Ask them once but then leave them alone! The employee who kept following me had short blonde hair and was wearing a black mask. I’ll be sure to annoy her and follow her around next time I’m in

I overheard a young lady Veronica, who to my surprise was the manager, talking TERRIBLY about another customer from earlier in the day. Specifically about the way she was dressed and how horrible her makeup was. I know I wasn’t the only one who heard her, as another customer and I discussed it. I wish I would have spoken up at the time, but I was so uncomfortable and honestly in shock in the situation. Before this happened, I kept wanting to ask her for help but she was too busy on her phone to bother looking up. I was able to find what I was looking for thanks to a helpful girl in the salon. The girls working in the salon were very nice. I heard this was a newer store so I figured I’d give it a shot, but I’ll just stick with the store I had been going to. Or Sephora.

This store is beautiful, well put together and clean. All of the associates are very sweet and helpful. However, my compliment today is for a girl name Sarah. My friend and I began by asking her a few simple questions. Because she was so helpful, we ended up asking her multiple questions and she walked us around the store for an hour and a half. We ended up buying most of the things she recommended and we love all of the products. She was very sweet, patient, knowledgeable and VERY helpful. You can tell she absolutely loves her job, as she is very good at it and wore a smile the entire time. She made it feel like we were talking to a friend, rather than an employee. I would definitely recommend this store and I will definitely be back.

I had a genuinely excellent experience with Ahlia yesterday! I am an older woman, and because my hair and brows are now silver gray, you can barely see my eyebrows or my eyelashes anymore. I must tinted eyebrow gel and mascara, or my face just disappears. My eyebrows drive me crazy every day, because they're also very thin and it's difficult to make them look natural. At my age, I'm not going for the drama, and I would be very happy if they just looked natural. Ahlia waxed and tinted my brows (and was able to remedy a terrible wax job I just received a week ago), and they have not looked this great in a very long time! I could not be happier. I highly recommend her if you want to have perfect looking eyebrows! Excellent job, Ahlia!

A little disappointed today. (This review is only about my experience today) Today I noticed an advertisement all in the Fenti section of a free mascara with any Fenti purchase so I bought a blush. When I inquired about the mascara I was simply told “we haven’t gotten the products in yet”. And I totally understand that, but I also think it’s not appropriate to have it advertised if you don’t have the product in. And perhaps from a customer service standpoint , it would’ve been nice to offer something else. But again I know there’s rules that they have to follow so I understand. But perhaps next time if you don’t have the free product and maybe don’t it until you do. Staff is always nice and helpful though.

So usually i avoid asking for help going into stores, just an anxiety thing. But I went to this Ulta the 2nd time today for an elusive eyelash curler and decided to ask for help this time since it was my 2nd time back with no luck the first. I'm so glad I did! Joia is who helped me and she was so lovely in helping me find what I needed. They didn't have any on the endcaps, none in the back, so she sifted through the Tarte overstock stuff until she was able to find one for me. I was stoked! My last one (same type) lasted 3 yrs and I really just wanted the same one I had. Joia found it for me and was so sweet through it all. Just wanted to give her a shout out!

The clerks were rude because my payment process was taking a little longer than expected. I ended up creating a long checkout line due to my After payment card not digitally transacting. This was no fault of mine! Yet, a heavy set girl with green or blue hair was clearly agitated by my delay in process. She began to be rude to me and speaking to me as if I weren't a customer but someone soliciting her place of employment. I personally won't ever shop at this location again! The only positive thing part of my experience was the friendly security man named, Carlos. This location will no longer receive any of my hard earned capital.

I called ahead in advance to see if they had a product in stock. Upon checking twice for assurance, the rep confirmed that the foundation was available and had it on hold until my arrival. Well, I unfortunately wasted a trip to be told that they don’t have it in stock at all and they even held a different shade of foundation in its place. Why lie about it in the first place? And why have a product on hold knowingly that it’s not what I asked for, potentially being an ill match? The shade is not my color and shouldn’t be replaced in confidence without a consult. Calling ahead was a waste of time and drive.

I made my first visit to this Ulta location on Tuesday July 3rd 2018. This store carries MAC products and had 2 MAC artists working. They were awesome and helped with a few items. Just genuinely nice. So many times the staff at Ulta locations are rude and vaguely snotty. Not these ladies. Can’t say much for the other staff. No one offered me assistance. This store was well stocked. I was able to get my Sebastian Shaper Plus buy 2 get 1 free. Always a great deal. And received a couple of freebies for my effort and went platinum with my rewards. Overall better than many locations and exceptional MAC help!

Easily the worst Ulta I’ve ever visited. I went in to purchase a fragrance however I did not see it in the Fragrance so I asked for assistance. Shelby was extremely rude and made me feel as if I was bothering her. She nodded towards the front of the store and told me “it’s not the front.” I was unable to find the fragrance so I went back to her for assistance. She let out a sigh when I told her I was unable to find it and asked another associate if she could show me. I will stick to Ulta Green Hills and One Hundred Oaks where the staff is friendly and willing to help.

i spend over $40 at ulta for someone to do my makeup for prom. the makeup artist asked me what color i use for my eyebrows and i said a medium brown...she picked up at blonde. oh but it gets better, i tell her i want a natural eye shadow and she gives me a smokey eye. then she makes my eyeliner wings 2 completely different lines. everything on my face was the complete opposite of what i asked for, but in the end i go home, take all of it off and redo it myself, $40 down the drain i highly recommended not coming here.

Would not recommend coming here at all after what my friends experience something I would not expect especially from this store . If we go in to look for beauty products to elevate our sled esteem then we shouldn’t be stereotype of stealing the products. Having the security guard follow them every where they go while there was more people in the store. Especially telling the head Manager there and not saying anything . These type of actions are unreasonable!!!

Staff was pretty unhelpful. The cashier greeted me which was nice, but the associates walking around the store did not say anything to me. When I finally found one and asked for help, I got a short half-answer to my question. They seemed more concerned with trying the products on themselves than helping customers. I ended up leaving, unable to find what I was looking for. This location is close to my house but I won't be coming back.

I had my hair cut & colored at Ulta. I always thought that when you pay for a haircut & color, there's no additional charge for your hair to be blown dry. Not the case. I was charged for my hair being dried. I got a root touch-up & highlights, a cut & my hair dried & it was $175!! I liked the stylist fine personally, but if I'm going to pay almost $200 to get my hair done, it's going to be by a master stylist!!

After about 4 minutes in the store a tall young lady with darker hair approached me and offered assistance. She showed me where to find what I was looking for. She stayed and answered questions. I wish I had gotten her name, she definitely deserved a mention. Sales associates from other stores could definitely learn from her. If the young lady that helped me look for tweezers see this review, I appreciate it.

I love Ulta for their rewards program. This particular location is poorly managed, and until about 3 weeks ago- all the shelves were empty. Now they have stock but no one seems to know what they carry or where it is. I walked around the store looking for a lip care kit for 45 mins, two employees told me they didn't carry one, and I finally found one on my way out... On my own.... In the Ulta brand ffs. SMH.

This is the first Ulta I have ever been in and it will be my last. The store is already small so when I walked in NOBODY said anything to me and I had to ask for help for a makeup match. They were literally standing there looking at me crazy. Then when I got offered a robe or blanket per my purchase amount I wanted a throw just to get home and it was a robe!! PAY ATTENTION !!!!!! Horrible customer service!

Hailey is an AMAZING hair stylist! She is professional, respectful and incredibly smart! Her customer service ethic is outstanding. She really cares about you, the client, and wants you to be happy with the results. She is so creative; an artistic scientist! I feel so lucky to have found Hailey at Ulta, and I would highly recommend her to anyone and everyone!

Sofia hooked me up with a goth glam birthday beat! It didn't take her long to match my color, and she was just so cool. Everyone in there was great. We shared a great laugh too. It was a 30 minute drive but it's so worth it. If you need your makeup done for a special occasion, or just cause your lazy, lol just go there!

I almost left without purchasing my products because of how much they were harassing me at checkout about the credit card even though I had already said no about 4 times. Not everyone is in a position to want to be opening a credit card regardless of the benefits. One “no” should be enough for them to drop it.

Staff help is minimal, gotta flag them down if you want help. Everything is everywhere, messy testers, trash in displays, salon area is nice. Mac staff won't talk to you unless you look like you can afford Mac products. Cashiers are nice though. Overall, big store, has good selection.

I had to leave a HUGE shoutout to Wyatt and his team. Wyatt is ALWAYS eager to help his customers and literally everything he has recommended to me has turned into my favorite products. Their team is very knowledgeable and helpful. Wyatt actually saved me money on my makeup routine!

Nice selection of makeup but crowded, staff was so-so, didnt feel warm or welcoming by staff and was a bit of a wait to get some help with matching makeup but other than that I left with what I was anticipating on purchasing. Will probaly order online from this point forward though.

Great service over the phone, but in store was first cold and disinterested, then offensive and rude. There are so many places to get descent service, this is not somewhere you want to put your trust in to take care of you. If you have no choice, at least avoid Lacey if possible.

Ultra is always the best place for anything beauty related. The staff are welcoming and helpful with many personal recomendations. They have a wide variety of mainstream brands as well as many natural, vegan and sensitive skin options! Been my go to place and will continue to be!

It took my hair stylist 1 hr to get my short hair a flat iron. People has things to do so please stick with your 30 minutes as it listed online. No products were applied after. My hair looked very dry and I had to ask her to apply some oil and a hair spray.

I wear Estee Lauder & this store sold me a new sheer base that is like water. I was helped by the cashier. There were no certified make up techs for any of the upper lines or brands. Back to Dillard's, this place is a joke. I have worn EL for 22 years.

This is for Ulta Beauty Salon in Bellevue. Hailey was amazing. She is talented and tuned in. She didn't rush even though it was late. She gave me a great cut and style salon service which was a supremely pampering experience. Highly recommended!
