My daughter and me were walk-ins less than an hour before closing less than two weeks ago. All I knew was that I wanted my long hair cut and knowing my hair can be tricky I let the hairstylist do whatever she wanted for me to end up happy. My hair is a bit wavy, I got a bob cut and I love it. We had a nice chat together and while the hairdresser was doing my hair I asked if she possibly had time to shorten my daughter's hair. There was enough time for both of us to get haircuts and we were both happy with the service we received for the price we paid which was less than $50 including the tip P.S. There was not enough time to clean up after my hair was cut, hence you can still see my hair on the ground ☺ Edited to add that we actually paid $58.25 tips included.

Couldn't leave one star...showed a easy Bob cut..lady just wetted hair didn't bother to wash..had to suggest to cut bangs to above eye level to be able to see..suggested a couple of times ..wasn't even going to dry hair let alone even make a attempt to style..has to let know that it's winter outside didn't want frozen head. Barely dried it..when got home after doing own wash and dry saw the hack job each side was different layers ..back was uneven.. Now have to wait for hair to grow out a bit to get what I wanted...

I'm so upset with my experience at this salon today. I made an appointment early this week for this morning. I received a phone call asking if I can come later in the day because what I wanted will take time, which I of course agreed to. I arrived at my appointment and was told no because I didn't say how long my hair was. I understand it takes time BUT I did say I had long hair when I made the original appointment and now I'm told no right on the spot. Very upset.

I called for an appointment on Saturday as I know it can get busy on the weekends and she asked me if I've ever been there before, I say yes but no to this location, only in Airdrie. Then she says ok then you don't have any hairdresser here so you have to come walk-in.... I told her it could be with anybody, as long as I have an appointment cause I don't want to wait a long time and she said no you need to come walk-in....

Tieu is a wonderful person I don't think I will be returning again to this Ultracuts. When I went to get my hair trimmed on Saturday, my hair was tangled after it was washed. Rather than trying to undo the knots at the ends of my hair, she pulled and yanked. This hurt and although I told her, she continued. For the remainder of the day my head hurt. I hope no one else experiences this.

Had basic mens haircut for 20.95 with taxes. Location was convenient. Staff nice. Was able to just walk in but they do appointments as well. For the price have had more service at a men's barber and nicer atmosphere. So good if you are in Walmart and don't want to get dragged around with your partner. You can disappear for a quick trim but it wouldn't replace my regular barber.

This is the worst haircut I have ever received by far. A quick job where she wildly chopped off way more hair than I asked. She repeatedly pulled my hair and broke it. This establishment should be closed.

Says on the website that it opens at 8:00 am. It has been 30 min and still no show. This place is very unprofessional! What a waste of time!

Staff is very accommodating and does an excellent job. Have been coming here for 3 years. I try to get Tieu as she always hits the mark....

Arrived at 520 and they were closed already. On line indicates it's open until 6pm. If you to open stay open
