"The bookshop is well stocked with series higher educational textbooks but more efforts are needed in the area of stocking of latest and current texts"
"It's fairly decent"
For people who don't know how to navigate the school premises well enough with the aid of the map, it is located opposite the Unilag Faculty of Art (which sits close to the Senate Building). The Bookshop contains a lot of good books written by prominent authors and lecturers. And also stationeries and other items can be found there. The only flaw I took note of when I visited there, was the lack of arrangement and easy access to those books. They are not well placed in sections and can not be found easily. Also the bookshop does not provide for most of the books written by lecturers of the school. The prices are a little hiked also, if you ask me.
This is a home for all kinds of stationeries and accessories like markers, sketch books, teaching aids, charts, pencil cases, beautiful diaries, notebooks, pens, textbooks etc. Unilag Bookshop also offers for sale quality t-shirts, tote bags and sports bags. It is a few blocks from the senate building and can be easily reached by the campus cabs from both the 1st and 2nd gates of the university. POS machines are also available for people who prefer to buy stuff with debit cards. The bookshop is open from Mondays to Fridays. And open for a few hours on Saturdays too.
#bookshop is in the university of Lagos.it is a very big bookshop.here you can get all you need concerning books.they have good stock of books for all the disciplines.this mega bookshop have also encyclopedia, journals, periodicals for students consultaions. The attendants are there to guide the students in picking the book of their choice.they have parking space ,wheelchair access and both electronic and physical security
The bookshop is well stocked with series higher educational textbooks but more efforts are needed in the area of stocking of latest and current texts. In addition, there are some academic disciplines textbooks (examples, no textbook on succession planning at all and no foreign textbook on the industrial relations) that you won't get there. The bookshop management should look into this as well.
It's fairly decent. Books are stocked but don't expect to see all books you're looking for. Parking is very much available, no accessible entrance however. Before you enter into the bookstore, you'd be required to drop your bags and belongings in the locker for security reasons. Once you're done shopping, you can check out and have your belongings back.
It is funny its a school bookshop, but you rarely find book that are relevant especially as it relates to the engineering field. More books need to be acquired to help give the place a facelift because rather than student relying on their school's bookshop for books as they ought to, they rely on external bookshops. This is not too good.
I went to get a post utme past question, from the security to the sales lady, they were efficient and very respectful and also they answered all questions appropriately and gave me time to look through till I found what I wanted. To get books or post utme past question or past questions in general, UNILAG bookshop is the place for you.
There is no way you will not love this place. A beautiful view of well-arranged books in sets of shelves in a very spacious, yet well designed and clean building. Finding the needed book is easy as there are tags for different genres and types of books. You will definitely love it here. UNILAG students are lucky to have this bookshop.
The bookshop serves the University, Secondary and Primary schools in the campus. Some books are more expensive than open market and I believe some will be less too depending on the publisher and supply. It can save one the stress of searching round for a book but one should or may compare prices with open market to minimise cost.
I wanted to buy a textbook but if I purchase it I would not have transport fare again. so, I purchased a lesser one but after I called my sister some minutes later she decided to send me additional money. So, I went back to return the book so I can purchase the actual product I want but to my surprise they did not collect it.
Is a very big place with a lot of books different products from different writer you'll find the book that you need there if you want to buy a box they will sell for you on cash or credit card you can also borrow then return it back on a small discount offer you can try it it's a fun place I actually like buying my book there
This University of Lagos Bookshop. It's situated inside the school campus. Books on Operations Research, Statistics, Mathematics, Management, Art, Medicine, etc of local and international authors are available. Both cash and POS are available for payment. Reasonable space is available for car park.
This bookshop has been standing for a very long while. Not so big, but you can get a couple books here. They di not take orders, only walk ins. The building also houses ecobank, a pan African bank. It is currently not open due to the coronavirus, but will be open as soon as that is over.
The bookshop does not adequately represent the status of the school. It's a university for crying out loud. I've seen small town bookshops better than this in the southwest. The bookshop in "Notting Hill' (the movie) has more books than this place. Very dark, gloomy and dusty.
The bookshop is located within the University of Lagos Akoka. The bookshop is stocked with varieties of book cutting across different field in order to serve students studying different courses in the University. The books are affordable.
This is the best book shop in Yaba area let's go there to see what you want, I am looking for one book for many years I did not see it but when I go to UNILAG I see all the books try to go there you will see what I am talking about bye.
I mean u go there to get books....nd they give it to you so its pretty much what it is. There are couple of other offices attached to the building nd they'd be happy to show you where it is. Like the post office, Ecobank etc
This rating is fair. I don't know if it's being tailored to meet the yearning of the university's community and even it is, it's still not different nor better than a regular bookshop in your locality.
Has a lot of literature books and novels but lacks in student textbooks. Stationary is well-stocked though with various types. Large accessible parking space and friendly attendants are bonus points.
The road to the bookshop from the University entrance is very good. The bookshop environment is superb. Inside the bookshop is also neat coupled with the arrangements of their books and stationery.
I'll say because they are recovering from a renovation four years ago. They have limited books, for a university bookstore. And they don't really give you the best kinda customer experience.
For a bookshop, in a University you would except this to be more aesthetically pleasing and contain a variety of books, the options are limited. Although there is parking space available
Decent bookstore, spacious and usually very quiet. Catalogue doesn't go past recommend text from the University a lot of the time. Prices are accurate, and the attendants are polite.
There are loads of books that can be gotten from there and it's not only books that are being sold there, but also souvenirs, t-shirts caps and any other thing you can think of
The university of Lagos library has all the books and material a student would ever need. It is updated every year to includes new books and materials on the new curriculum.
They have quite a selection of good books.. Great service too.. The only reason I'm giving 3⭐ is because they always run out of stock for really important book
Here in unilag bookshop, you get to see books you need to enhance your studies. A very organized place where you can search for any books you would like buy.
They have updated and current academic books and developmental books. Either you're preparing for exam, you can get the book that will make you excel here
It's a book shop located inside of Unilag and I feel their items are a bit to pricy, one would expect that since its inside a school it would be cheaper.
Got nice and required things but they need to update their pricing system. The bookshop is housed in the same building as Ecobank and the post office.
The federal government needs to invest in education to enable such a great institution of higher learning bring the library to international standard.
They have got a few books on sale for a fair price but they lack basic art supplies and do not have extensive racks for nonacademics fictional books.
I was at this venue but I did not go into the store. So I cannot share any useful information about this place. But it looks okay exterior-wise.
The bookshop isn't all that great in getting variety of books yo read, but most African literatures and science textbooks can be gotten there
No working phone number to contact them so my long journey was a waste of time as they did not have the books I required . Staff helpful .
It's a relatively good book store with a large selection of educational materials especially those pertaining to the courses in unilag.
Unfortunately, most of the books on sale here are pre varsity student specific or too outdated to be of much contemporary relevance.
The bookstore has all round collections of books. It also has other items such as jotters, bags, purse gift cards and other items
It is a bookshop own by the University of Lagos but is lacking in terms if quality books that a researcher will need for research
The bookshop seems abandoned and you could barely find books currently in use in schools! I was disappointed to say the least.
Its a cool place to get interesting books of all works and studies if life and they have a great customer relationship.
One and only bookshop in the University of Lagos and books use in Unilag and normal random books can be bought there.
It has books on sciences, business and engineering. So if you need to shop any book on these subjects, please visit.
The building is just right beside Eco Bank within Unilag and just before the New Unilag Library(under construction).
Effective Payment and the Security will always check your receipt before you leave to ensure a secured book shop.
Well i never fid go inside but i looked really nice from the outside, would probably add more stars if i entered
World class bookshop! In the confinements of the University of Lagos. If it's important, you can find it here.
There are a lot of books on the spot you can even send letters at this location but it wasn't what i expected
Wide-range educative & informatives books are found here. It is a place to be for all institutional needs
UNILAG is an outstanding University and has been able to use the bookshop to maintain the same standard.
A big bookshop where you can buy virtually all the books recommended for study at University of Lagos.
Unilag Bookshop is still operating. All covid19 protocols are being observed. Patronage is low though.
One of my favorite spot on campus... Helpful academic resource pool, their books are quite affordable
Lovely place. Contain lot of Textbooks and Materials. It is along the gate way of University of Lagos
Althoughh not your typical bookshop. But well they have more college textbooks of almost all fields
Sell all kinds of items for school like textbooks, jotters and so on at a relatively cheap price.
In fact this place happen to be one of the best bookshop 've ever been to in whole of South West.
They have good books..but they do not have IGSCE text books..I was hoping they would be selling.
You need books go there but there are sometimes the books you are in need for are not available
Nothing much. I had a bottle.of water and my personal hand ,I was told to drop it. Interesting
Not all books can be found there... Throughout 2019, there was no diary sold in this library.
An interesting place to visit after so many years after my education at University of Lagos
Well maintained, accommodating staff, have recently published books. Needs to be upgraded.
Renovation is going on but they still make sense and sell great books at affordable prices
There's a wide variety of books and stationeries available here......Pretty nice though!
It is a great place to buy books, stationeries and so on at relatively affordable prices.
A great resource for Students. You can find books for all ages and levels of education.
There was more than enough books to read, and being a bookworm I love it xoxo …
Unilag books shop, Accademic materials and Journal's can be sourced easily here.
It's a bookshop where you'll find almost any book recommended for the students.
Great selection of books from textbooks to novels but service is somewhat poor
No ID no entry I guess... Don't bother trying though. Structure was nice thou
Although the are strictly observant, their library is an environment of study
This bookshop is organised and well stocked and their prices seem to be fair.
Not a bad place, I just never find most recommended textbooks and plays there
You can buy books here. Both recommended textbooks for unilag and notebooks.
I was able to get the necessary textbooks I needed for my course, Thank you.
There are no much books here, maybe cos internet has taken over everything.
Almost all books you need are here except you're looking for specification
You will find texts prescribed by Unilag lecturers but not foreign authors
Most times even books recommended by the school is not available. Too bad
Great Experience, nice place to get most of any Merchandise you seek for.
The best place to get textbooks and necessary reading materials on campus
Good place to get a couple of the textbooks you'll be needing in school.
The place is very equipped with lots of book and stationary for studying
Good books to read, you'll be enlightened if you're the reading type
It was really nice, they honestly have all the books you need 10/10
The bookshop have any academic book to assist the students to read.
It's and adequate book store but closing time is earlier than 5pm!
They have books that help the students at relatively cheap prices
It doesn't have enough books for secondary school pupils though.
Still providing quality books and materials for the good of all.
Smaller than the name. Young lady who assisted me was quite nice
My alma matar though, it's good and ut has a serene environment
Is a good place to buy books, academy journals and accessories
Nice place to buy your text books, it's has a cool environment
It's a quaint little bookstore that has the necessary things.
Easy access and a wide variety of academic books to purchase.
