"I've never been so ashamed ever in my life"
"Honestly, staff are arrogant"
Of all the reviews issued to date, there still has been no effort to improve the service. Employees at Unisa will only realise the importance of Service Delivery when they are being issued with notice of retrenchment due to lack of students registering. When the retrenchment starts you the staff of UNISA will be completely to blame for you own lazy arrogant behaviour. Yes we do pay your salaries with our student fees. and yes your entire staff from begining to the Chamcelor offer no service. i can mentions names but it would be useless. like speaking to a stone. how i regret starting my studies with Unisa.
Unisa is an incompetent campus. They never answer phones, their website never seems to be working, when you go to the campus, students are always striking or their systems are down. The guards are unhelpful / rude / arrogant and they think they own the place. I am a registered student of unisa but was refused entry even though I had a student card. I do not recommend anyone studying at this institution as your studies will constantly be in jeopardy. RUN FROM THIS INSTITUTION!!!!!
The Durban campus is extremely difficult to navigate as there is no order when it comes to queues especially during registration periods. Staff seem to have a reluctance towards hearing students queries and questions. Obtaining access from the car park is also difficult as the turnstiles are often blocked because of queues stretching out side the building and down the main road.
I've never been so ashamed ever in my life.... The security here talked to me as if I'm trash. One of them didn't even feel like responding to me when I asked her where is the applications offices. I wouldn't recommend anyone to come here.... I'd rather go to Unisa Sunnyside campus. I didn't even get helped so I guess I wasted my patrol coming here.
Honestly, staff are arrogant. Esp during registrations and enquiries. Peeps working there are fed up I scheme lol...they move you around the whole day and sometimes no resolve to your issues. Too less people and work ethic is poor. Esp to cater for so many students. If online systems were better. We would be hassle free
Take very long to serve and understand the needs of student enquiries. Waiting period to speak to the right channel is frustrating... can take a whole day or even a week. They never ever answer the telephone when you call. Depending on staff moods they will tell you come tomorrow and have bad attitudes.
Excellent establishment to get educated in higher learning. Very well run and staff are friendly. Very clean. Remember Google is the best thing since Bread Bread came sliced. Phrase coined by Hunter Schmidt Auxilliary Plumbers. …
This is definitely an institution with very few competent administrators. The first time I was doing my application they registered me for the wrong modules and insufficient modules and the examination department has not responded to an
"Please be patient the system is on and off"... Nothing new there. Followed by "Um, bad news. Your certificate is in Pretoria not here like the SMS you got says" after driving 2 hours to get there and then spending another hour waiting
Hi..so I purchased a product from Asia over 3 months ago.when I try to track it it tells me it at South Africa, regional facility..when I google this place it sends me to Unisa ...can any assist in this matter.tx
Very poor system where even registered students must follow a line the whole day to just get student advisory help . Must go to line at 6am and finish at 3pm . Ridiculous. The chancellor needs to wake up
One of the best university in South Africa i love it simply because it's best quality education with various study field and also it's very affordable... This year am planning to enroll at Unisa...
Unisa looks very run down. I was shocked to see it after about 2 years since I've last been there. All around the parking area and outside makes it look like an abandoned building. It's very sad
Terrible Service, spent half the day there for nothing, eventually had to leave due to no one helping, just a chaotic environment with the EFF and ANC making noise but no solutions
A building left behind in time. Urgently in need of a revamp. Over-crowded and filled with staff who are overwhelmed with the shear volume of human beings wanting to study there.
Unisa is a joke try phoning them, two hours of constant redialing(126 phone calls in total) and no answer, only correspondence if you live in the same city as a campus
The best institution in university education. It taught me a lot and many others have benefited in the ODL system. And there are many improvements made since 2016.
A racist institution. While registering, they spoke to us in some other language than English. I couldn't understand what was going on. WORST UNIVERSITY EVER!!!
Worse Education Institution to study at! The people in the Pietermaritzburg Campus, does not know nothing!! When you question them, they are so damn arrogant!!
It was great. They comply with all the requirements to prevent coronavirus. It was quite full since we had a meeting but everyone was wearing their mask
It was right my sister came to pick up her certicate they gaved us good service since she's having a newborn. Thanks guys and keep it up.
Knowledgeable staff. Slow queues but due to many students. Students can however register and make payment directly via the Unisa website.
Extremely poor service. No one answers the phones regardless of the departments you try. Extremely frustrating to study here.
Very bad , we've received msg to collect our certificate only to be told no one is available to help us .....was disappointed
Bad organizational skills. Why lots of ppl on the same day. Which covid was protected if we were so much full longest queue.
worst service to register , not communication , mail take months to reply , systems are always down when people need help
Unisa Advisors at Durban Regional office are absolutely useless! So unhelpful!!! Getting payed to do nothing!!!
Very helpful staff that resolves issues exceedingly better than email correspondence with UNISA in Pretoria
Went to collect my certificate, the staff are organized and there's proper social distancing measures
EDUCATION FACILITY THAT NEVVVVERRRRR ANSWERS!you don't need a grade1 to answer a phone!!!!!!annoyed
The staff did a wonderful job in giving out the 2021 Graduates certificates. There was no delay.
My school had a great service, with this pandemic regulations. They have a fast and safe service
Unisa is one of the best universities in SA but the prblm s dht they don't answer the phone...
This place has given me a chance in life.affordable prices.everything else could be better.
Very poorly organised and staff and security have an attitude like they doing you a favour
Do they allow walk-ins for prospective student to deal with administrative issues?
I love this place, it quality education I though that it will be better for me.
The service was good and they helped me in short time after arriving there
The service was fantastic I got assisted quickly and it only took an hour.
Disappointing university with absolutely lazy, unprofessional lecturers!!!
It wasn't full when I went but it was UNISA with their Popular service.
Nobody is ever there to help. They're never around to do their jobs
Sorry to see the once great Unisa go so far backwards. …
Why even have a phone if you not going to answer the phone.
Poor service, very hard to get a hold of anyone to help.
Always noisy and crowded. Never any parking for exams!
Very long ques. Interior has a very impractical design
Worst system ever. They don't answer they're phones.
