Worst post office ever!!!!!! We've been in our house for almost a year. They have lost 3 articles of mail (that we're aware of). They are no help in finding your mail even after you've paid extra for overnight and tracking. We're still getting other people's mail. The manager is of no use. He doesn't know anything or how to resolve anything. This place is the worst! I wish we could have our mail rerouted to another post office. I'd even pay to have it rerouted. I actually have to miss work today because I have to go up there; they haven't delivered something I ordered offline, that I was supposed to get 3 days ago. Worst post office ever!!!!!!! I wish I could give them ZERO stars!

Older lady at the desk was extremely rude and unprofessional. She kept telling me to get off my phone or she wouldn't help me, I was on the phone dealing with a problem. I told her I needed to overnight my package and she had me fill out some paperwork and I tried to do it right by the front where was she was so I could get it done quickly and send my package but she didn't let me and asked me to go all the way to the back counter, afterwards I saw her let other people stand right by her to fill out there stuff so they could check out quicker but she had me go all the way to the back and getting line again. This type of behavior and service provided is unacceptable.

I would NOT go here, make the extra 20 minute drive to go to ups or really anywhere else. I shipped an item worth $250 and my post office in Utah told me it never made its way out of the post office, even though it said it was shipped for three days straight at the exact same time. I've been waiting for over 3 weeks. I've called multiple times and it always sounds like they answer and its dead on the other end. The employees were not nice or helpful at all, they wouldn't explain to me what insurance on my package was and made me buy tape and go to the back of the line again. I spent way too much time here to never receive my package.

The staff tried to trick me to pay for second postage even after I brought in a pre-paid priority mail box. It was so ridiculous!!! He ripped off my mailing label and took my contents out and put in a new box and said I need to purchase the box. Haha..did I look that stupid or not? I left this office and went to the main one at Donelson Pike and dropped it off. If I hesitated for one second I would have been paying $15 for the box which I only paid for $7.89 online.

Don't know why the reviews for this place are so bad. Every time I visit, the two ladies behind the counter are prompt and friendly. They see hundreds of people a day, and must repeat the same questions to each one. They have a lot of patience for all of us. We can be understanding and reciprocate that patience. Anyways... usually there is a very short line. I try to stop by around 3pm. Simple, quick, easy in and out. Just what I'm looking for from a post office

I have the best mailman Shane!! Yesterday had a sub named Maria who was the sweetest mail lady....she delivered my package with the upmost respect for my home and property!! She even put up with me greeting her at the door because I didn't recognize her as my normal mail man Shane. She took the time to answer my questions ...she was very professional and knowledgeable!! I sure hope she becomes a regular!! We definitely need more postman like Maria and Shane!!

The apathetic attitude at the location baffles me. My wife had a delivery that was written on the box correctly but was entered into the system incorrectly. So the item never made it to the correct location. The post master general, tried to make my wife feel like it was her fault they messed up in the first place. No wonder the location is bad, the attitude of the so called leader is bad. I don't care if you live next door to this place go somewhere else.

They never answer the phone for one thing. I was expecting a paycard in th email never got it they said it was scanned and delivered at 11:15 and assumed that sumbody could have taken it !!!! like the lady really said sumbody stole my mail then tried to threaten to stop delivery because of my mailbox wouldnt close. They talk enough BS and should definently be shut down or rehire a whole new staff cuz the people that are there now are full of s%$#

Others may have had issues, but I've noticed (especially over the last year or so) that they have been cranking the packages out. Delivery dates are updated and end up being delivered earlier than the originally scheduled date. There have been multiple packages that have been delivered early. They come in to the hermitage location and are sorted and put on the truck for delivery within an hour or arriving. Keep up the good work.

I came into the post office on 9/19/17 at 3:30p The clerk Monica who says she's the lead clerk did not answer my questions and got rude in front of customers. She started making fun of the direct questions of a certain hold I had on my mail. I wish I had a number to make a formal complaint. I have very expensive items I'm expecting. I'm glad I don't have to deal with this post office anymore. Anyone have a number?

I have been using this post office as my main location for a couple months now. I am extremely satisfied with my experience here. I have never had to wait in line for more than 2 or 3 minutes, the shipping supplies are always in stock, which I cannot say for any other post office that I have ever frequented. The staff are always friendly and courteous and handle the customers with professionalism and expediency.

This place really sucks and like the prev comment said, if they were a private business they would've been shut down. I filled out a change of address 3 weeks prior to receiving a package and they still delivered my package to my old address. It took almost 2 weeks to get my package from the new people who live in my old house. The only solution the post office could offer was to fill out a dispute.

Lazy! Lazy! Lazy! I get other people's mail from the neighborhood all the time for people not even close to my house, but my mail goes missing, and don't even try to get somebody on the phone. They don't answer. Too busy doing less than mediocre work I suppose. So unhappy with the USPS right now. If I owned the branch I would replace everybody with people that actually want to work.

They claim my package was delivered at 9:15 pm on a Friday night in my mailbox, I have yet to see this package and the Saturday mail has come and still no package. This is not the first time. I get no customer service and no one knows anything.This is why I get everything paperless. I wish I could just cancel the the Hermitage usps altogether they are trash

Why does the post person have such a hard time closing my mailbox. Apparently the door is supposed to stay closed when it is flipped as the post person drives away. It only takes a second to make sure it closes, but that seems to be too difficult. I have gone into the office and was informed it was my container. No, it is the laziness of the the deliverer.

I've lived in 6 states an over a dozen cities. I've never seen such terrible service from a post office. I can't order anything online because they deliver my packages elsewhere. SO FRUSTRATING. The guy that gave them 5 stars is clearly an anomaly. I've called and they admitted delivering it to the wrong place repeatedly and won't to anything about it.

Employees at this post office are extremely rude, unprofessional, and self righteous. They act like they own the place and they can come up with arbitrary policies of their own. The facility is located in the middle of an up and coming Hermitage. it is sad that the employees are so poorly trained and have no sense of customer satisfaction.

This has been my post office for 5 years, and every experience I’ve had in the store has been above my expectations. Everyone is always very friendly and they’ve gone above and beyond several times to help me. I’m always impressed with them!! I’m surprised to see 1 star reviews when I’ve had such consistently positive experiences.

By far the worst post office branch in the Nashville area. They NEVER answer the phones. the counter agents will sit there and joke while they have a line of people then just walk away. the drivers make no attempt to actually deliver things like certified mail, they just leave a notice in the box without even coming to the house.

The staff was very helpful. Went in to get stamps for my save the dates and- being a millennial who does everything online- I didn’t know there was more than the regular ole flag stamp (god bless the US!) but Dave made sure I got a stamp that went with our wedding theme! Thanks guys! They all had great personalities!

Got there a few minutes before closing, lady was really annoyed with me. Waited weeks for my package to arrive, it never did. Checked the tracking and it never left their Hermitage office, cranky lady must have thrown it away. I lost priceless journals, camera SD cards, and letters because she was in a bad mood.

Sign on the door literally says "international money orders sold here" guy at the desk acted like I was crazy for asking for one & said they didn't do them. I pointed out there was literally a sign advertising this as a location that did but no one cared & seem to think I was crazy for asking.

I agree with most of these reviews! They can't get it together, and they DO NOT answer the phone!!! I have a business in Hermitage and they mail carrier will not pick up my mail if he doesn't have a delivery for my office. I have never seen anything like this!

$150 jersey they claim they delivered to my apt parcel locker. All my other mail was In My box but no key for a parcel locker. Customer service rude as can be pretty much said I’m screwed. Caught the mailman the next day and made him check

Tried to get to talk to a representative, but the queue offered no such option, and my issue was NOT covered in any of the MANY queues !!!! So, I have to drive the P.O., to get one question answered!!!! This is subpar customer service!!!!!

I put my mail on hold twice with the Hermitage Post office and then I came to pick it up I got nothing I then did a change of address. I have received no mail since March 2020. I even got the confirmation letter for the address change

Packages only are put in a locker when it's been there for a week ot more. Why? Some of us work Monday thru Friday from 8-5...and I never make it there in time on Saturday.

The postage machine in the lobby is possessed. It doesn't recognize addresses that are valid or packages on the scale. I'll find another post office
