"It always amazes me the lack of service at this location"
"They never get the message"
"Rarely get mail and when we do it's wet, weeks past due to be delivered"
"so incredibly rude"
"Easy drop off location for letters"
It always amazes me the lack of service at this location. Often there will be 2 or 3 clerks, two with their windows closed restocking stamps or mundane chores instead of helping customers that are out both doors and around the building. Having spent decades in customer service myself, this truly grates on my nerves.
They never get the message. Long line with one person working with customers and several others hang around the counter doing something else -- but not serving the customers. I think they enjoy aggravating the public. They should wear a sign around there neck that says, "Hey, I am too busy to help you."
Rarely get mail and when we do it's wet, weeks past due to be delivered. This post office is under staffed. The staff they have is friendly but they need more staff to help fulfill the work load. This area we do still use the US Postal service so let's keep us happy so we will continue to use it.
so incredibly rude. you work for the u.s. government and have benefits most only dream of . .suck it up and smile. you're blessed to have the job you do. go elsewhere kenton locals. . . its worth the journey compared to the prick that ignored my existence when I asked why they're closed early.
Easy drop off location for letters. Parking is limited but there is enough street parking. Pre-labeled packages have to be handed off and there's no self-serve machine here. The line is always organized and the staff is polite. They do their best to help everyone efficiently.
I was having issues with my mail not being delivered. Went to the office and they made me fill out a slip and after that I started getting my mail temporarily and now my mail is being returned once again saying "The address is incorrect". HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!
Accidentally dropped off an Amazon return package here that should have been dropped off at UPS (instead is USPS). They called UPS and had them pick up the package before I even realized my mistake. Service to house has also had no issues in last 5 years.
I HATE the mail carriers in the 97217. They are lazy and have screwed me several times by not reading the note I leave them to leave my packages inside my doorway. Why is this so difficult?! Some of them follow directions but most of them are idiots.
Drivers don’t follow delivery instructions. Good luck with any mail requiring a signature because they will not bring it to your door if you live in an apartment building nor will they leave you a notice of any kind for you to reschedule or
Every single time I come here it's always something. The first time, there was one lady that was extremely rude for me not knowing the address of my recipient right away. The second time, there was obscene yelling in the back like a man was
They are very slow and there isn't an easy way to pick up packages when you get the yellow slip in your box--you have to just wait for someone to notice you at the low counter. Yolanda is super nice and the best clerk they have. Leo is kind
Had USPS text alert that my package had been delivered but it didn't arrive. My mail is delivered out of this post office so I went there to try to track it down. Employee I dealt with showed a lot of attitude and told me that was wrong and
Just want to publicly thank the Postal Carrier that delivered to my home on Jan 10. I was annoyed when an Amazon deliverer placed a package right in front of my screen door when I clearly have instructions to place on the side of the porch
Ivan, the manager there, never calls back to address issues event though he says he will. The front desk people are nice and helpful. Our carrier has told us on many time she is too old to take our packages and just doesn't do it. We have
I lost all my keys so I went down and paid for a change of lock(I live in apts so I was told they would pay for it, but I guess that meant reimbursement), I also asked them to grab my mail and hold it so it wouldn’t get crammed and ripped
Laurel and Hardy only have one speed, slow. Regardless of how many people are in line, perhaps on a short lunch, in a hurry, they move at glacial speeds. Sure its great to know your customers, chat a bit with them etc, but when there are
This post office staff has always been phenomenal. Their job is to ship packages/letters for you, or to hand you mail if you pick it up. Always have been super polite to me, but I also don’t expect to be treated like the USPS number one
Don't know why they got bad reviews. I've used this post office for 10+ years. I've always had great, friendly service. I've probably visited 50 times. I've seen really crabby customers, but haven't seen the staff act negatively. Some
Door service has been very good. Just talked to the Kenton branch via phone and was able to get a question answered that the main USPS Customer Service (800 ASK USPS) could not answer because you can not talk to a live person at USPS.
I have been able to depend on this post office for friendly and quick service consistently each of the times I have visited. The inside is fairly small and looks pretty plain just like one would expect from a post office. They have a
Kenton Station has been my Post Office for 25+ years. I have never seen the staff "crabby". Quite the opposite! They are open, smiling, and in a far better mood than I would be when things get really hectic. Kudos to this staff!
I lived in Kenton for 5 years. I moved away a year ago but visit the area often and still take care of my post errands at this location. The staff has always been friendly, nice and funny. Never had any issues.
My package was "delivered" 2 days ago but I didn't recieve it same with another package it was supposed to be delivered at my parcel locker but didn't have anything anyone know what's happening
I have had some major issues with our mail delivery. I have had my $1200 phone delivered to the right apartment number at the wrong building and have gotten my neighbor's mail and vice versa.
The PO is probably understaffed, but the staff they have waiting on customers is unfailingly cheerful and personal. I look forward to going, because they almost seem like friends.
They removed the letterbox from the sidewalk so there is no longer any way to drop off mail after hours... This makes using USPS very difficult for someone who works graveyard.
I run a small business and am here pretty frequently. I am amazed by these people. Always in such a great mood. No matter how busy the place gets. They are always a treat!
Great place, great people. Always have positive experiences for years with this post office. Staff make me smile & customers are generally nice while waiting.
There's no longer a mailbox on the sidewalk?! Why is this gone? Theres no way to drop off letters on a Sunday or after hours now... This is very frustrating.
The employee's that 'work' in this small town post office do very little in the way of working. Little effort is expended in serving the customer.
I found the service to be excellent and the clerks extremely pleasant to the customers.... A very friendly small town feeling in this office.
Been there a few times there seems to be a long line however all staff members I’ve interacted with are kind helpful and professional.
Great local post office. Staff is very friendly and will go out of their way to suggest something cheaper and make it work.
Unbelievable, where did USPS find these employees? Complaints about personnel can be made online at USPS Email Us Form
I don't normally rate a post office, but these were some of the friendliest people at a post office I've ever met. :)
The mail person put something in the mail room that could have fit into my mailbox and now it’s gone/stolen
Lost a package. It was marked as received by them and has gone nowhere for a month.
Hi! Are you guys and gals planning on delivering anything this week?
Truly among the best. Chris, the front-facing clark, is OUTstanding.
Staff very helpful and friendly. Thanks for your service …
