I have had a few instances of bad service here, but never when I go in to pick up a package or mail something out - the people at the desk are all pretty friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the way they handle deliveries is the complete opposite. I have had multiple cases where they didn't deliver a package and didn't tell me why they couldn't leave it at my door, and a few times when they said it was "too heavy" when it was only 15 lbs or so. Anyone working in a physical labor job should be able to do that one handed. When I complained they told me the lady who delivers packages to my building recently had back surgery (but it's been a long time and it still happens). I understand that must be hard but as the customer I should not be inconvenienced because they can't fulfill their job responsibilities. Apparently this is fine with the office because there are a few steps leading up to my door and that allows the delivery person to use their judgement and say it's too difficult to deliver. After this happened a few times I did get them to have someone else redeliver when I call and ask for it. Just now I called to ask about a package though, and as soon as they answered my first question they hung up so I didn't get all the answers I was looking for. Basically this place is good in person but otherwise it's a disaster. I have run into the delivery woman and she seems really nice but she definitely needs to find a job that doesn't require heavy lifting if she isn't able to do it, and the post office should hold their employees accountable for their duties. They even told me at the office that packages less than 50 lbs should be deliverable unless the box is unusually shaped or very large or the destination is difficult to access. A few steps is not a big obstacle for a 15-20 lb package. It's frustrating when I walk in still with my heels on from work (and I am very petite) and carry out the package no problem.
First, these people were very nice, and worked pretty good for USPS standards. Second, the audacity to insult my Intelligence.. and tell me that postcard stamps are not a thing. Really shows how careless they are for training and the people they pick to work at the front desk. I tried to get postcard stamps. Something that everyone should know about, especially if you work for USPS. The Teller told me they haven't made those in years!! Insulted my intelligence and age, telling me I'm not old enough to know when stamps were that price! To tell me I am not old enough ( I'm 26) to know of a time when stamps were only .40 shows your stupidity. That's why they are called postcard stamps! I went to three different USPS locations before this one. They were all out of the stamps, BUT knew exactly what I was talking about. And apologized that they were out. And then after I have proof to show you, and you tell me the wrong stamps you sold me can't be exchanged or returned really is the most irritating occurrence of my day, ha. I get back in line and ask a different lady and she tells me they have them in the back! But I still can't exchange them! So YOU, need to go have a Nation wide training, or that employee needs to have multiple trainings about her job. I will even give the training if you get in contact with me. I'll take a whole day off of work or even a week if I have to. Please reach out to me, I would love to hear what excuse for the lack of an employees intelligence, and reasoning for insulting mine.
My family and I have been tracking a package containing live chicken eggs for four days. On the day that the package was expected to be delivered, the online tracking site estimated a delivery time around 5:OOpm. That morning, around 10:30am, my family and I were out in the front yard enjoying the beautiful day. Eventually 5:00pm came and went with no package in site. Went back to check the online tracking of the package and a new estimated time put the delivery at around 8:00pm. We understand that things at the moment are a little out of sorts so we didn't think anything of it. Well, at approximately 8:05pm, I received a text notification from USPS that the package was delivered to my front door/porch at 10:50am...the exact time my family and I were outside. We never saw a USPS vehicle, no USPS personnel approached us with our package, no package was left on our front door. My children, who were excited about the eggs were checking the mailbox and front door regularly throughout the day. I have emailed and attempted to call to speak to someone regarding this and to say that the system is designed to make you chase your own tail would be an understatement. The USPS' ability to resolve customer concerns is abysmal at best and criminal at worst. Frustrated, disappointed, ashamed of our postal service.
By far the worse!! I’ve been tracking an international package for almost 1 month due to an error and my apartment number missing from the package. Once the package arrived in the US, I called and filed a claim and was told that there was no guarantee that the apartment number would make it on the package- in which I totally understood. I was also told that the best way to try ensure that I receive the package, is to leave a note in the mailbox or speak to the carrier. Well on the day of expected delivery, I did both and the carrier said “Yes, the package should be on the truck. I saw your note and will make sure it’s delivered to your apartment.” That was about 3:40pm, at 4:05 I received a notification that the package was delivered in the mailbox, which I thought was strange since I know the package would not fit in the mailbox. So I thought maybe the carrier left a key for one of the bigger boxes, I checked my mailbox and nothing. Nothing at my front door or in the mailbox - and my sticky note that was placed in the box was gone as well. This is the second time that this has happened!!!!
MISSING MAIL 80% OF TIME AND this postal office is RIDICULOUS.. the main staff are ok but there is one lady who is something else. she talks down to customers and talks purposely with a tone to imply one is stupid or imcompetent . this is demeaning belittling and extremely rude. also this isnt done quietly so whoever is in line can hear it . if you state your mail is missing its not their problem apparently well at least thats the attitude. the mail mysteriously appeared after she rolled her eyes after having to go and put in an effort to look harder for it . the male who claimed to be in charge over the phone (after mail said delivered but wasnt ) hung up on me twice and they never ever call back. it took 4 weeks to get keys for a mailbox after paying $25 for them. suppose to be 7-10 days. pshhhhh.. this overall is possibly the worst mail office in jacksonville and MAIL ALWAYS TURNS UP MISSING. SO FAR 6 PACKAGES HAVE GONE MISSING THIS WEEK. THAT STATE DELIVERED BUT I DONT HAVE THEM SO SOMEBODY DOES . DO NOT USE THIS OFFICE !!!!
Also an update to this review, they lost my security deposit but I somehow got the receipt that was sent out at the same time. (???) I got my keys and I just found out to day my lock was changed again??? How is this even possible? To even get keys you have to show your lease to them?? Also this review was deleted so I will just add it again. I moved to the area recently and this is the worst post office. The employees do not seem to care at all. I have completed a hold all mail form and one would think that would mean that they would hold my mail and give it to me when I come and collect right? Instead I was told they lost the form, the carrier retired, we can fill out a new one, and my personal favorite they don’t have any keys to change the locks for my mail box so I could spend nearly 90 bucks to get a P.O. Box for 6 months. How about don’t lose the form I filled out for the very purpose of holding my mail. ZERO stars. Go to a different post office if you can.
Joe at front desk needs to either quit or retire. He is rude and obviously overworked so he takes it out on paying and patient customers. On several occasions, he would make decisions FOR me at the kiosk preventing me from making any changes or even receiving an email update for these changes. I wouldn't get to click yes or no to confirm ONE THING! Each occasion, there is a different issue. Once before, he tried to make me pay for a label instead of simply allowing me to write the address on the package I was sending. Another time, he tried to prevent me from shipping due to not writing my return address on the package, which I have never done or needed to do before. I come to this location for one thing, the same thing every single time. This man is a sore sight at this location and I dread ever having to speak with him, quickly or not. Please hurry to fix the drop off box OUTSIDE of front desk so I never have to work with JOE again. Thank you.
This location is the absolute worse. Every time I come in there is a line with only one and/or two people in the front. When foreigners come in they talk and treat them like they should know what to do instead of helping. Nothing against old people. However, young adults with a friendly face and willingness to help customers goes a long way. These older employees have an angry face with an attitude. As I’m standing here typing this. I just had to help this Hispanic couple because the employee is loud and nothing willing to help them find a tracking number which they could not understand. I just looked at their phone and showed them what the employee needed as I do not speak Spanish. This place needs a secret shopper to come and observe how customers are treated at this location. If you don’t like your job please give someone else the opportunity to as all sure they would be grateful for have a job!!
I purchased a house over a month ago, and the location has community/cluster mail boxes. I went to the post office a month ago to request the keys for my mailbox. I was told it would be up to three weeks. It has now been over four weeks. They are holding my mail at the post office, therefore making it to where I have to pick up my mail. Last Saturday I spoke with the post master and he assured me I would have my keys later that day, took my phone number and was supposed to call when the job was complete. It has now been a week since we spoke and I still have no mail, and no time to go stand in a line of 20 people to wait to pick up mail. I shouldn’t have to take time off work to pick up my mail. They have one person working the window and exceptionally long lines. I just want my mail key, and it really shouldn’t take over a month to receive a key for a job that takes under five minutes to complete.
This place is the worst ever. The postmaster needs to FIRED! A new one would replace all the employees that have represented the lowest depths of indecency on any measurable scale known to mankind. Instead of writing a specific review I will just say they fail in many ways consistently, HATING of the people they serve being ranked #1 on my list. THEY ARE PROTECTED BY THE GOVERNMENT and that is why I will keep my review clean and avoid any violence thoughts I have. USPS is getting old. ebay and amazon is the only reason any of these people have a job. I cant help but wish KARMA on every one of them. I appreciate my life and time given to me. I treat people with respect and I demand the same. How dare the Government facilitate these people and pay them for a so called "service" that's BS.
this is the worst customer service i have ever experienced. they carrier has refused to deliver my mail because of a dog that was on a chain on the opposite side of my yard. i have had to go into the office to sign a liability letter and still have not gotten my mail, SINCE MARCH! the last time i went to pick up my mail i was obviously upset and said "this is so stupid" at that point i was told i had to purchase a PO BOX and they refused to give me the mail they were holding. i have missed appointments, my son missed a court date, my husband license were almost suspended due to not getting a red light ticket in time to pay. i am livid. and no one answers the phone when ive tried to contact them to speak to anyone in management.
On 09/27/23, An associate yelled at me in front of the other customers stating that I couldn't put my mail on hold. It made me very upset the way she addressed me like that I requested the manager or supervisor she wasn't any better because I was very irate she threatened to contact the police. Now it's not allowing a Customer to express their opinion about the issue with the associate. I said that if she would have spoken politely, I would have understood but instead she shouted at me. Though this isn't the first time I have had to deal with a rude employee at this post office. At this point I don't even want to to retrieve my mail from this USPS due to their attitude towards me and they have no customer service at all .
It's absolutely ridiculous how this post office is being ran. The worst customer service experience I've ever had. I really am going to contact the local Post Master. I went to mail a package myself and to return a package that was accidentally left at my address that did not belong to me. My biggest issue was trying to convince be lady at the counter to take the package that did not belong to me. I explain to her for over 5 minutes that the local post man accidentally left the package at my house. I was just returning it, so that it can go to the correct address. The lady at the counter actually asked me to take it to the post office a few miles up the street. They couldn't possibly have done put that in my mail box.
I use this post office all the time. It's not the closest one to me but it is the friendliest and it's not as busy as the others. I send packages all over the country and to countries in the U.K. and Germany. I've never had any problems, knock on wood. Everyone there is kind and always acknowledge my 4 yr old and have even given her coloring books. I know there are a lot of bad reviews, I've never seen anyone in there with a problem but with all the people they help of course there are going to be dissatisfied people. When I first pulled the reviews up I thought I accidentally pulled up the website for the DMV. I hope everyone's issues were solved, I'm in customer service and I don't like to see unhappy customers.
I think the one and a half star rating is too optimistic. All employees move in slow motion. They can have a line of 20 people waiting, and they are not going to move a muscle or a neuron fast. Unfortunately there is no other post office in the area. In any private company, no one who works in that place would exceed 48 hours without being fired. Excellent building, good parking, well located, but needs people who want to work. If I had the possibility to replace them, without doing so many miles, I would never go again. I have supported this branch for more than a decade, before you could enter the one inside the University, but later they did not allow it. We are all "prisoners" of 7707 Merrill Rd
Sent a very important letter from here with a money order payment from this post office. Sadly, letter and m.o. was never received by the recipient. I checked the status of the money order, and it was cashed! I'm pretty sure whoever stole the m.o. worked here bc it was cashed a few days after mailing; and even if it wasn't someone who works at this location, it has to be a USPS employee! I never had an issue (ever) with any other post office. Why can't the post office find professional employees with integrity! Beware of sending any letter from this location! Granted, I should've purchased signature confirmation and tracking but everyone knows how busy life can be! Lesson learned the hard way!!!
The interaction with the worker Dorothy lasted 1 min, but it was a very painful one. Dorothy was very rude and acted like she didn’t have the time of day to help me. I understand it’s hot outside but the attitude isn’t needed, especially when they’re standing in an air conditioned building. When I tried to ask additional questions, she started to walk away and say “That’s not her problem.” It was my first and last time coming to this location. I truly hope Dorothy finds the someone to love, so she can experience kindness for what since like the first time in her life. Maybe she find it in her heart to show kindness to others. Or maybe just new job or retired ♀️
I wish I could give this place a 0 star because their customer service is terrible. They don't know how to greet customers and they always act like they have an attitude as if they don't want to work there. Why are you here if you hate your job? Please hire better workers or this place needs to be shut down because this is ridiculous. My mailman had put a note on my complex mailbox that the mailbox key is broken and we have to go to the post office which I've been doing for the past couple of months now to pick up my mail Still no change... I'm tired of going up there to pick up my mail! These people are so rude and disrespectful. Please do something about it.
I would give zero stars if I could. Unprofessional staff, extremely long wait lines, and they never answer their phones (when they do you're put on a long hold). The main reason for this review is because they have lost a package of mine not once, but TWICE. I ended up speaking to 2 different employees on 3 different days about my package and their response was "we delivered it to the neighborhood across the street and we were unable to recover it so you should reach out to Ebay and let them know you never received it." EBAY is not the reason I never received it, you all are so you should be held responsible. The entire staff needs to be terminated
I literally wish they lay off every employee at this location. I'm sitting at home getting updates from amazon that my package was en route on 4/13/19. At 9:19am i get a message saying package delivery was attempted-mailbox full. well the item weighs 29lbs and 4 feet wide. Well of course it will not fit in box. then I get another update at 2:50pm saying carrier is unable to gain access to front door and at that time I was in my driveway washing my care and no one even came to my house. SMH! The level of laziness is totally ridiculous at this location. A building full of slackers that's draining our government resources. Roaches can do a better job.
I had to come here to pick up a package that I had to contact the company who shipped it, too see what was going on and get a tracking number from them. No slip was left for me from the carrier. After dealing with the 1800# to find out where it was at exactly...I made my way to the post office. I was lucky enough to get assistance from Vonne who was the most unpleasant person I've ever dealt with! She passed me off to another individual as she couldn't find it, the other lady couldn't find it and called the carrier. How nice that it was out for delivery, unbeknownst to me...so it was a completely wasted trip. USPS really needs to get it together.
On several occasions I have packages delivered from this postal office to wrong address. In addition for last several years the I kept getting mail that belongs to someone one else. I have tried to go the Merrill road post office to rectify the problem and spoke to a women who is the supervisor by the name of jeniene who has a accent like she is from Jamaica. This women is very rude and abrasive to the general public I know several people who have had confrontations with her she act as if she owns the post office and is untouchable. Why she is being allowed to keep her job is amazing to me she needs to fired and deported back to her country.
In our neighborhood we have addresses that have same numbers but are East and West. I have been living here since 2002 and I am at East and still get West’s mail. I have called I have spoken to Post Master I have talked to mail carrier. Got 1 yesterday and 1 the day before. I always circle west on the envelope and put it back in the box but the people at west are obviously just throwing our mail away. We have lost credit cards birthday cards and bills because the carriers do not look at the mail when giving it out. I am now sick of this. I have even written to main Post Office to no avail. Yes, I guess we will have to use another service.
Listen, Bailey deserve a raise, a free lunch, and maybe a day off. Working at the post office seems stressful, especially in this area. I was so upset about an incorrectly labeled package and he took care of it for me without issue. Everywhere I tried to contact was nothing but chatbots, but soft-spoken Bailey came to the rescue. At this point, even if my package does get returned to sender, that man was so nice I won't even be mad about it. Also a special shout out to the courier who said they're coming back around to redeliver, not sure if they will but I guess it's on the shipper and everyone else is just doing their best.
I'd appreciate getting paid for having to do the mail carrier's job. At least once a week I get packages left at my door for homes not even on the same street or even close to the number on my home. Today, they finally screwed me on a package. Then when the company I purchased from contacted the post office they claimed it was delivered to me, which it wasn't. Just hope whomever got my package delivers it to me as I always deliver people's (or mail them back to the addressed party) packages when our incompetent carriers can't come through. The people at the counters here though are always friendly. Only good thing there.
The Mail carrier is rude and hold back putting your mail in your box or purposely puts it in the wrong box. I have been waiting for important mail for a week now and it has not arrived. The office showed me the day it was mailed out and it should have been here by now. The mail carrier once lied and said I called her when I do not even know her name all I know is she is a old white woman. I complained to the supervisor about my mail but nothing was done. The new supervisor told me to complain with the post master. This is sad that these people can use a federal building to harass someone and not have any consequences.
The absolute WORSE post office in Jacksonville. The supervisor is rude and unprofessional and so are the employees. As a small business owner in the city I find it very disheartening that the employees treat customers the way that they do. If I treated my customers this way I’d be out of business. Today’s visit was so bad I tried to complain to the supervisor only to be yelled at and belittled. The Post Master really needs to do something about these employees as I’ve witnessed them treat people so bad and disrespectful in there. It’s absolutely ridiculous. If I could leave negative stars I certainly would.
I see what everyone is talking in terms of packages being delivered and not being able to obtain them: The little blonde lady that you have to show your tracking number too acts like she doesn’t know what she’s doing! She claims it’s not here because my tracking number is from FedEx…lady this is the address it was delivered too because this is where I receive my packages!! She’s like “then wait until tomorrow there’s 8000 packages back here.” These things are supposed to be a little more convenient to have, not a hassle! I get everyone else’s mail In my PO Box except my own!
I've never gotten my mail it always goes to a different address. Do not get packages they always go to another tenants apartment. When you go to post office to check on a package this One lady is very rude like you've done something wrong to her. Breathing like she annoyed. Im assuming that they don't get any flack from the supervisor on their behavior because this is not acceptable. This is the 5th time my packages weren't delivered. Moving here from another state this is so frustrating that the mail service is one to be desired....Townsend blvd mail service is horrible.
Yesterday I received a message stating my child's Trampoline was "attempted" delivery at 1049pm.... but I got the message at 819pm. Hmmmmmm? I was in the drive way when the postal lady put mail in my Box. So, today we call Amazon and they put me on 3 way with the USPS. The pos office then said they could not re deliver it. I told the post office person on the call that I didn't see any attempt nor did my security system. She had no reply. No apology or attempt to make it right. I understand now why the reviews are so bad and why Noone wants to use them. 32277 Zip Code
I have a small business. From time to time I have anywhere from 6 to 20 packages to be picked up at one time. I have scheduled and paid for this in the past in the amount of $26. The carrier did not show up until the next day. He proceeded to tell me he could not take them as they won't fit in his small vehicle. Everytime, I notate that this is a LARGE order that will need a larger truck for the pickup. After a two day delay, I was informed that they do not give a refund when you pay to schedule a pick up. RUDE RUDE RUDE RUDE RUDE I will deal with UPS any time.
I mailed a letter to a valid mailing address in Dunnellon, FL. Used the same address numerous time previously w/ no issue. Ten days latter it was returned to me with a sticker saying, "Return to Sender; Insufficient Address: Unable to Forward". Called the post office three times; got a series of irrelevant answering machine messages; never did reach a human being. Meanwhile, the person I mailed the check to was late on her rent and had to pay a late charge. Incredibly poor service; incredibly inadequate phone options; incredibly disappointing experience.
Accidents happen but 3 times in a month is it. Packages for 7925 Merrill Rd are being delivered across the street to 7920 Merrill Rd all the time! I had it 3 times in the past month. There is a very nice carrier on my route who went out of his way to find one. He told me he wasn't the regular carrier and guess what? It was at 7920. But please, whoever works the 7925 and 7900 Merrill Rd stops, know it is two different addresses and please check to ensure the package is going to the right location. I am so tired of losing money and packages
Unpleasant The past few times that I've gone to this location, I have dealt with the same unpleasant and plain out rude postal staff member. Complaints/reviews will only give you a generic sympathy call. -So adjust your demeanor accordingly to whomever you may deal with when going in... as respect and kindness goes both ways. One should not have to dread or be met with unpleasant demeanor when coming into a place that serves the public/neighborhood of simple mail and packaging services. Human decency and kindness does not cost a thing.
On multiple occasions, the tracker says our mail is in its way, only to never see it. They physically scan it, then it disappears. I was told a package had been delivered at 11:45 am, which I found strange since our carrier is never on our road before 3pm. My entire family was awake and active, only for the tracking to say no one was home to receive the package. I've lived all over this country, but this is by far the worst postal service ive ever had the displeasure of using. Wheather it be incompitance, or just laziness, y'all suck.
UPDATE 1/20/22 AT WHAT POINT DOES THE ATTORNEY GENERAL STEP IN AND INVESTIGATE THIS POST OFFICE? FIRST WE WERE NOT RECEIVING PACKAGES NOW THEY ARE LOSING MAIL DUE TO "SHORTAGE OF DRIVERS". IM TALKING IRS MAIL PEOPLE. MY WIFE AND I ARE CONSIDERING MOVING JUST TO NOT HAVE TO DEAL WITH THIS POST OFFICE. OMG. INCOMPETENCE AT ITS BEST. JESUS TAKE THE WHEEL AND MY ☎ The carriers are stealing packages. I was notified that my package was delivered , home all day NOTHING was delivered. Reading these post im so happy that im notthe only one.
One of the worst USPS ever!! Stood in line for 30 mins. I had a huge package to ship to deployed husband. The last name on my license didn't match my credit card however the signature was the same (I never got a new credit card after marriage) they wouldn't take it so I wasted all that time, and carrying a big package back to my car, however, a different location said the name wasn't an issue as long as the signature was the same. Every time I went to this place the customer service was awful. I'll never go back.
This is not about this location but about their services,I had a 2 DAY deliver from Amazon and it was supposed to be today wed,July 18 2018 ,and usps says that now it will arrive to me on the 19 or 20,not even an specific date,HOW NON-PROFESSIONAL,I paid for this service and I want what has been promised to me for my purchase, usps, look up for better employees, when someone PAYS,the less you can do is deliver their package by the right date,I am disappointed. I wish there was a -5 stars rate...
Every day we have a different carrier now. I literally witnessed one of them use google maps to find the correct house ♀️ They are giving me my neighbor's mail and I have no clue where mine is going. The numbers are clearly displayed on all of the houses so I don't understand why it's so hard to deliver mail to the correct address. Now I have a missing package that says it was delivered but it wasn't. This is really getting ridiculous! Employees definitely need better training!
Poorest service ever in the U.S. They delivered my package in wrong box and sent me notification it has been delivered. I drove to my box and it was empty. They don't pay attention to details and made me lost a valuable item. They didn't help me to find it either and treated my case as if nothing happened. I wish I can give a zero star but unfortunately it is impossible. I will advise you to use FedEx if you don't want your valuable items to get mishandled.
My husband went to see if there was any help he could receive from this location because our keys stopped working to open our mail box. He was met with extremely rude and unprofessional behavior, unfortunately he did not get the individuals name. I understand that this is a hard time but people being awful just adds to the general distress. Will never use this place again and would have trouble entering this location with any kind of positive attitude.
To EVERYONE forced to use this location and has issues with carriers that "Amy" (supervisor) is refusing to address, the numbers she/they provide are just customer service call center number. The inspector general is who deals with the unethical actions of carriers, theft of packages, not delivered/wrongfully delivered and "Amy's" unethical protection of such behaviors. I am attaching that number for you being as that facility will not disclose it
They don't deserve any stars. We run a medical business and we have told them 6times already our mail must be picked up everyday even though we might not have mail being delv to us as we have time sensitive material that needs to be out timely. Every time we ask where our carrier is "hes on vacation." In 6 months this man as taken 10! This is absolutely the worst post office ever. We have filed numerous complaints and yet we still have issues!
The times on their office door for Saturday are 9 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. but their automated phone system for their individual office on Merril Road states that they close at 2 p.m. I asked for a manager three times only to be ignored through the door by an associate who clearly acknowledged my presence. Another visitor was unable to use the dropbox in the meantime and was ignored. This is horrible service and false advertising. Please do better.
Absolutely horrible service. Package was suppose to be delivered 5 days prior to me calling in to find out where it was. Called in and gentleman that answers the phone is rude. He did not return any calls that he stated he would. I called at end of day to get update and he, along with his supervisor, were annoyed that I kept calling for a update. I wish they would clean house and get new employees that actually want to do their job...
I had to perform a simple task at the post office and a lady employee talked down to me like I was an idiot. There are some good people there but it only takes one to ruin an experience. There have been other cases where paperwork had simply been lost or entered wrongly causing a huge delay in me getting my mail. I'm worried one day they will lose a package entirely. Giving two stars because my experience isn't always awful.
I have a PO Box at this Post Office. I signed up for the service to have packages delivered to them when the company will not deliver to a PO Box. The Postal worker wrote down the wrong address for me to use . Now I have to have the package delivered somewhere else so I can get what I order. There is a very nice black male that works there & I wish he would have waited on me. Maybe I would have gotten the correct address.
This is the second time I have experienced horrible customer service. The old white lady got angry and impolite for no reason. If I didn't speak English well, she could explain or speak slowly, there was no need and no excuse to be rude. I came to pick up and she said the handwriting was sloppy in the note. That note was written by her colleague, not me. Why was I the one to blame. There should be a zero in rating.
How crazy is it to be writing a review for a federal service provider? I know that reviews do literally nothing in this case, it's purely cathartic for me in this instance. As has been previously mentioned, they will not answer the phone. I've called 5 times now (it's 8:54am) and they did pick up once, only to immediately hang up. Basically, don't bother calling, it's a waste of time - you just have to walk in.
This post office has a lot of bad reviews, and although I never tried calling (that seems to be a major complaint) I didn't have any issue when I went in. I waited in line for 5 minutes, max, and was in and out in less than 10 minutes. They could do with more clerks (there was only two on duty when I stopped in a little after lunch, which I imagine is a popular time) but overall it wasn't a bad experience.
This post office need some serious help. The lobby kiosk never works. The bin has been broken for 2 weeks and all it needs is a bolt in the handle. Really? Isn't there anyone that can manage to do that? The only reason we come to this one is b/c it's close to our house. We've started going to the McCormick/Ft Caroline post office. We'll take the time to go to the other one since they care about theirs.
What’s the point of you guys providing the option to do money postal orders if you guys never have the amount on hand at any location ? I’ve tried THREE times cashing a postal money order different times of the day, and I get told the same thing. That you guys have to make the money first…. Okay well if you guys just don’t carry enough to cover service the postal orders YOU SHOULDN'T OFFER THEM.
Long story short, nobody here knows what is going on. Took me 4 visits and multiple phone calls to get a key for a community mailbox upon moving into a new house. They “hold” my mail while I’m waiting for the key but somehow all the packages that get shipped through USPS are not found though they are “delivered.” Only thing you can realistically do here is send outgoing mail
worst store ever ! they send images on your informed mail delivery, i am getting all the mail besides the most important pieces like my credit & debit cards ! I’m convinced that some is stealing my mail. I understand if it happened once but it has happened 2-3 times ! and they don’t answer the phone to figure out where your mail is ! so annoying !!
Rude, unprofessional, cuts you off in the middle of your statement/question, DOES NOT ANSWER THE PHONE. Also lost one of my packages and said it was nothing they could do about it because I waited to long to say something. It took a month for them to change the lock on my mailbox in my apartment complex as well. Would give them 0 stars if I could.
Worst Ever!! It feels like the lottery every time I get any mail. Also I know for a fact the mail man cant read since I always get another resident's mail. Thinking about making a collection and dropping them off at the post office weekly. And do not have any packages sent to you! You will not get it. I use FedEx now, they actually care.
The weekend mail man was to lazy again to leave my package on the door step. Then places the info in the Usps system to say to say I want the package to be held. This happens all the time with my weekend carrier. It’s a holiday on Monday so Now I have to wait until Tuesday because of the holiday. Totally lazy
No starts from me, but ugly face instead. No one answer the telephone. After 8 or 10 rigns it will hang up on me. Jacksonville main post central needs to eliminate this place or re-started training for all worker. This is why usps is going down and down more, bad service or no service at all, adding cost too.
That clerk name Yvonne is so rude. I just ask to clarify when they can received it and she was very rude. Stating you didn't listen I said tomorrow latest at 6pm. I even replied you dont't need to be rude I just want to clarify and she should not work there. Unprofessional! Won't go back there again!
This place does not like to answer the phone, and when they do they continue their conversation with coworkers while you are still on the line. Very unprofessional. As well, they seem to be unable to read the address on packages properly, as a package I've been expecting has been sent back twice now.
If you feel you need a break that bad and have customers in line... waiting to be serve and see if they have mail in the back.. but you can't ask that..because she was ready and quick to go on break.. she put that item in front... She shut her part Down!!!! And ♀️♀️♀️♀️♀️ …
Been waiting in line to change my address for half an hour now, the workers up front just carelessly ring a bell that no one pays attention to. Didn’t wanna leave a message until I overheard laughter coming from the back, where this line of help is supposed to get service. Anyways. Thanks gobment.
Tracking shows my package was delivered at 722am today which was an hour ago. I have been up since 5 something. No one has knocked on my door nor has anyone been here. I can't speak with anyone in customer service. They need to do better hiring delivery drivers that actually deliver the packages.
This is by far the worst post office I been to. Literally over 2 months and still no mailbox key. I’ve filled out the form twice. The supervisor is no better. This lady had the nerve to tell me the mailman is holding two months of mail of mine. This post office is very unprofessional.
Fake eyelash associate who sits in middle. Nasty disposition and demeanor. Looking like Grinch who stole Xmas. Next!! Next!!! Nasty, disrespectful. Thought u had to graduate atleast high school to work at post office? Obviously not…. Will be reporting this one up chain of command.
Never answers phone. Remains unaccountable. Refuses to fix issues. Mail carrier(s) deliver mail to wrong tenant and does not confirm identity when handling mail or packages. Carriers leave mailbox panel left open. Accepts bribes from degenerates. The WORST post office. -5 stars!
This post office did not forward the mail and delivered it to the wrong address and wrong recipient. It was an envelope waited for 1 year. The manager of the station does acknowledge their fault. I will complain to the next level! Just lazy people using Covid 19 as an excuse!
I am completely baffled at the laziness and rudeness of the people that work here. I was told that my package that showed it was delivered could not be looked for because there were too many packages so Id just have to wait until tomorrow for someone else to look for it.
I called and was put on hold for 10 mins. The young woman who answered the phone was nice and pleasant, however when i went inside, the person was very short with me. I guess because they close at 5 and it was 4:15. Strictly business and not personable.
They never pick up the phone, when they do they hang up on you.. I have not recieved ANY mail for over 7 days, first i was only missing my checks that came in the mail, now I'm just not getting any mail. This post office does not care about your mail..
People without ethics work there, they are not qualified for these functions. They never provide a satisfactory answer. I'm thinking of suing them for damages. If anyone knows of a lawyer who can take my case against them let me know in the comments.
They should have a method with cameras that the delivery man delivers the packages because they are stolen and then they say that it was delivered, this can't go on like this, they must do something to protect customers, we waste money and time
I've lived in this zip code for 25 years the postal service is awful. I had two vehicles damaged by postal carriers the guy jumped on the hoods to avoid a stray dog. Packages and mail delivered to the wrong street and or addresses. Mail for
Horrible Customer Service. Today the female at the counter was so rude, acting like she owns the business. I made an error on an envelope and I was trying to get a new one to make at home and she did accuse me of trying to steal it ($0.59)
Called three times. One after another. Took me 12 min of ringing to get through. Got hung up on twice from some automatic drop. Spoke to a bored woman on the who apparently could not grasp the question I had till I repeated it three times.
It's the post office, what do you expect? I tried other ones in Jax and many of them are the same. I have called all of them on the phone and it just rings off the hook.nso obviously they don't have the personal to have a person answer the
Absolutely abysmal! I lost my mailbox key and went to order a replacement. While I was there, there was another gentleman who was there because he had never received any news on his replacement mailbox key that USPS claims takes two weeks
On several occasions important mail or packages took an extraordinarily long time to arrive at its destination even when priority mail was paid for in advance. In a few occasions, it didn't arrive at all. The post office doesn't reimburse
Been going to this post office for several years. All of the staff are very rude and short. Its as they have a miserable Leader. Very unpleasant situation. I hope they can get better Mangement to bring this level of customer service up.
This is one of the nicest post offices around. The clerks are friendly, they know what they're doing, and they've been working there for years. Some of the customers are quite rude, though, I've never seen such bad attitudes.
Today at had the worst experience with Vonnie . This lady always rude to everyone and myself. No customer service experience whatsoever. There was also an elder lady and she said she was scared how she was treating people
Generally speaking I've had good interactions with the employees. It isn't necessarily the cleanest place inside or out but parking is good. Otherwise it's a post office servicing in all capacities.
The package drop drawer in the lobby has been out of commission for at least nine months. It makes it inconvenient to have to go to another post office to drop off packages after hours.
Vonnie is rude and has a bad attitude. I asked her if they had stamps and she laughed at me and said “of course we do” in a smart a** way. No need for her behavior. I asked politely.
For YEARS I have used this post office and I can't remember ever having issues. It has always been good for me as the employees are very helpful. I am happy with this post office!
Deserves no stars. Line wasn’t moving. Didn’t seem to have enough staff. Do not waste your time coming here. I see why the reviews are horrible.
People are rude no customer service. You have to wait so long just to pick up packages the manager needs to figure this out!!!!!
Worse customer service. very rude old lady. The handful of time that I’ve been there she has always been rude.
