Only 3 people are allowed in the area, even though more people could fit safely in there per CDC guidelines. There are signs on the floor that prove that fact. Also, you have people coming in who are not prepared to ship or purchase and take up time and space making the wait even longer at a federally run institution. I tried to print stamps in the lobby, but the machine wasn’t working. When I finally got into the customer service area, I checked out right next to (not 6 feet) from another one of the three customers. When I mentioned the fact that this was less socially distanced than allowing three people inside, your counter person said “well you didn’t have to come in here.” I tried not to come in there, but when your machines don’t work, that makes things difficult. USPS is such a joke.
If I could give this place 0 stars I would. They have a postal worker who works there that refuses to come up my driveway and deliver packages becuase my dog barks too much. I would never want anyone to be fearful of a dog, but the fact of the matter is that I have had this same dog for 9 years at this very address and every other postal worker would deliver my packages. In addition to that, Amazon, FedEx, UPS, etc, will all currently deliver my packages. The one change is this worker....I am 100% certain that she is not fearful of my dog, but just flat out lazy.
Just moved here, and the FIRST TWO trips were terrible...the customer service is atrocious, and even the nice ones seem to not fully understand their jobs, causing a massive inconvenience. I'm not talking about merely sending packages, I'm talking about things that actually require training like PO Boxes and things "self-service" does not allow you to do. I will say, that the 3rd time I went the woman (morning shift, around 10am) seemed to really care, and was nice/patient with everyone she came across, so that's I have updated my review.
I went in to simply drop off a package for return with a preprinted return label on 12/22/22 at around 10:30 AM. The woman was very rude on the far right side of the counter and did not offer any help. They simply acted like they didn't even care. I've been going to this post office for 22 years and never seen the service this bad. I hope they actually returned my package...because with that kind of attitude I am skeptical.
Incompetent and lazy. The woman working the counter refused to help me with a process because “she’d never done it before” and didn’T want to do it. She kept intimidating me when I asked her to please just try and yelled at me when I asked her what I was supposed to do. She eventually said “not get your mail I guess cause I’m not doing it.” I just needed help completing a change of address.
Ramona was the SWEETEST! I’m usually intimidated by the post office, and she made the process so enjoyable! Explained how flat rate boxes work, helped me package my order, and saved me $7! Looking forward to the next time I need to ship something with kind and smart people like her working!
Paid for premium forwarding and found they kept stuffing more and more into my mailbox despite my having visited th Green Hills PO and filled out all forms I was asked to fill out! I have been trying to call them all morning and no one at the PO answers.
Moved to the neighborhood in May and still my mails are not getting delivered(August 30th). Complained twice about it and the post master left another vacant note in my mail box today. Not at all a pleasant experience and very frustrating.
I own a small business and we ship frequently at USPS. First time at this location and I'll definitely be back. Kim was very helpful making sure our 100+ packages were dropped off safely. Thanks for a great experience!
I mailed valentines here one of them going to kentucky which is right next to our state. It’s been over a week and it hasn’t been delivered. Is this post office a black hole?
