Yesterday 9/9/21 I was at the post office to find a sign that said they are closed between 1:30-2:30. At 3:00 they were still not open. You could hear employees talking to each other right behind the wall but no one came out to let us know if they had any intention of opening. Everyone who came through the door were upset and 1 lady said they had done the exact thing the day before. On the outer door and in the interior door are 2 signs. One says when they are closed for lunch and give alternate p.o to go to. (One person had just come from one of the addresses and that p.o was closed as well). The other sign said, "sorry for any inconvenience we are closed". Everyone remembers when the p.o was the best now they are really hardly any better than at&t or Mcdonalds- also bottom of the barrel. Often I get other peoples mail in my mailbox, some days they don't deliver on my street and, I have family in other countries saying, "what's wrong with your postal service?". I don't know- I guess they have simply given up and the majority of the employees simply do not seem to care. The USPS has gone to the wayside.
I came to this Post Office - Inglewood East Nashville even though I live in 37206 very close of the Woodland Street P.O.Office. I came here because the neighborhood website told me that they followed all of the Covid19 and CDC guidelines by wearing masks and gloves which I was very happy to hear. I was greeted by a postal worker attendant whose name is Brenda who was extremely rude to me and I did not appreciate her customer service. I tried to phone the manager of this office but all I could find was an 800 number which led me through a phone tree which went on forever. Brenda was not in a good mood. I had acknowledged to her that I thought she was not in a good mood and she only got more rude to me. I am not happy with the service and I will drive to Belle Meade, Brentwood, Bellevue, Gallatin or Hendersonville, anywhere else except this Post Office.
Been to this location a few times. The usually have two employees. The guy is great, super friendly and nothing but positive interactions. The woman... is not. She’s gotten sharp with me each time I’ve interacted with her, and made my 12 month old cry once because he touched a pen on the counter. I’m the sole daytime caretaker of my child and have to bring him with me, which can be stressful. Toddlers do not enjoy long waits and restricted movement. A little empathy towards people who are trying to juggling multiple things at one time isn’t difficult. That’s in the job description when you work a customer service position.
Both of the people working the front tried to charge me $30 for a $10 shipment. I knew he was high in price, so I was like no I'm not going to spend that, he responded with. Well go to UPS then, I just looked at him and just left, he wasn't worth the energy to respond, So I literally drove over to the other post office like 5 mjn away, and was $10.75 which i thought it should have been.. So the moral of this is I don't really like going to this Post Office. And why is is so hard to call them??
Hands down the most amazing post office and their employees! Ken has helped me a few times this week as I struggled to bring in a bunch of boxes. He came to me and offered help which I accepted. He then took my boxes and carried them for me. I had just left the hospital so his help was a big deal to me. Sometimes people do things and don’t realize the impact they have on someone’s life so I just want to take the time to say thank you. He touched my life and want people to know.
Ugh! Worst delivery service ever. They lied about attempting to deliver my package not its being held hostage since they didn't leave a redelivery slip. And their are closed during my lunch. My mail lady doesn't even pick up my mail and lies and says the box is blocked. She's just too lazy to do her job.. I hate this place
They have messed up my mail delivery because they are convinced I do not live at my own address. I have important documents that they continue to return to sender, despite my insistence that they can indeed deliver them to the address they were mailed to. Incredibly frustrating - they have no idea what they're doing.
A great postal experience!.. ~I thoroughly enjoy doing business at this location in East Nashville. The employees are always smiling and eager to help while being both professional and friendly. There's a certain neighborly atmosphere that allows you to feel comfortable, even while waiting in the occasional line!
WHERE are you supposed to park?! Literally every spot except for the lot across the street says “no parking”. Heaven forbid you are handicapped because the entire postal service lot is empty except for no parking signs and a non handicapped car parked in the one spot available.
This post office doesn't deserve no star I hate to say this post office is old not safe not accommodating and he it also has the most dangerous parking to cross to get there . Please do something about it either shut it down close it iand build a new one this one very shameful
I never post reviews but I always get anxiety going to the post office. Stacey is the first person I’ve ever met that’s worked at the post office who has been super friendly and helped me figure out the best way to send my package. 5 stars for Stacey! She’s awesome!
Worst post office in all of the entire Nashville waited over 45 mins & there are only 3 people in line ahead of me absolutely ridiculous!!!. There is only one worker at the retail station. Has to be the worst post office I’ve ever encountered seriously!
I'm at my wits' end with the U.S. Postal Service. They have not been delivering our mail for last 3 or 4 business days because there is a car parked not even 2-3 feet from the mailbox. The car is not ours, nor is it blocking any
Sat. Dec 16, 11:55 AM. Inner office supposed to be open to 12. Already locked. One woman standing outside locked inner door to accept ready to go, drop off items. No name tag, no uniform, no identifying that she worked for USPS.
My mail always looks like it has been opened and some mail I know is coming, never shows up. Postman/woman lie about certified mail. Investigation pending on constant missing mail. If I could select no stars, I would.
Why is the post office closed for lunch break. There’s got to be another way to run this post office. This has happened numerous times. You close at 5 and on break till 4:39 pm. Doesn’t make sense to do that.
Best customer service I've received ANYWHERE, let alone a post office. All the workers are awesome and very friendly. They keep everything stocked well and the line moving. My fave post office
This post office has everything you need to mail packages. Staff are able to perform their duties satisfactorily. However, their stamp selection leaves something to be desired.
extremely rude, went up there to ask about a package that is possibly lost & the woman told me i just need to wait & that there was nothing she could do for me
Always very pleasant and helpful staff! They do their best to move people through quickly while still taking the time to answer questions and provide help.
I frequently visit this Post Office as they are very attentive and quick. The customer service is simply wonderful ! I highly recommend !!
Don’t use if your shipping something as simple as a Poshmark sale, they steal your items. Pathetic! Especially around Christmas season!
These people will personally rip you off in your day to day personal business transactions while delivering your mail
Every time I’ve been here the employees have been so quick and friendly! This is what good government looks like!
Joke!! Closed randomly during business hours for “lunch breaks” and very inconsistent. Just go to FedEx or UPS.
Ridiculously, the USPS removed the Self-Service Kiosk (APC), which makes the line move even slower than ever.
This is the greatest Post Office in East Nashville. Great customer service and very little wait.
Fast and helpful. I am always in an out in seconds. Easy parking too! -- Ross Senack
looks worse than third world countries post office .in and out horrible
Waited in line for 45 minutes. There were about 9 people ahead of me.
Such great staff throughout the years, always an A+ experience.
Located on the side of cricket. Kinda small but never too busy
Mail never gets delivered on time by their postman....
Very fast service good people to have
Great service and very helpful staff!
Quirky neighborhood post office
No self-service machine.
