Absolutely the most ignorant, rude and totally unhelpful group of people. When my mailbox was vandalized, I called my local post office however after 3 hours of unsuccessfully reaching anyone, I called the 800 number and filed the report. I was told it would be 2 to 3 days before someone at my local post office will come out and repair the box. After 5 days I called repeatedly until someone picked put. However this time each person that I spoke to was immediately argumentative and hung up the phone. After having 3 "government" worker's ended our call and no one ever took down my address to see to having my box repaired. I received a call from a halfway decent (yet still displaying anger in her voice) postal worker who said it would take another 3 or 4 days before the repairs are made.. About an hour later another call, this time saying my mailcourrier emptied my box and I could come in 2 days later to pick up my new key and the mail brought back to the station. Before I could get to tha post office I had to make an unexpected out of town business trip. By time I returned and made it to the post office at least 10 days had past. When I got to the post office, the woman behind the counter couldn't wait for me to finish my 1st sentence without her telling me she couldn't help me and no matter what I said, she told me to go to the other line. I waited 15 minutes in that line only to be told by another person who couldn't wait for me to take my 1st pause before cutting me off and saying he couldn't help me and I needed to go back to the line I was just in. I told the guy he never let me explain what help I needed and I already stood in that line. After saying I wanted to pick up my new key and mail that was held. He immediately said I didn't have any mail there. Again, I asked how he would know if I never told him my address. After demanding that he check for my mail and key, he came back ten minutes later empty handed and said there's no mail and no locks had been changed. I was sent back to the 1st line I stood in to have one of the counter agents complete the request for my new key. This woman told me that I had to bring in paperwork from when I closed on my home ten years ago and until then they won't start tbe process which will take 3 or 4 days from that day. I can't believe our tax dollars pay for such high level of ignorance, anger and a total unwillingness to help.

Update: 2020 for the SECOND time I received notification that my package would arrive at 6:45. I waited at home for over two hours. I even took screenshots of my ring doorbell that NO USPS DRIVER CAME. I even sat outside and talked to neighbors, nobody. Yet I get a notification of “failed alert” saying the driver couldn’t locate my destination. This is the SECOND package in one year that mysteriously the driver gets amnesia. I really really hate this location and I’ve even asked Amazon to NOT send my orders via USPS bc I know how horrible this locations service is. So I received an alert from USPS saying the carrier attempted to deliver my package but couldn’t locate the destination. Which is really odd because I stay in a home that is VERY easy to locate and navigate too. Also the zip code provided to this said “unknown destination “ was a zip code FAR from the one I provided on the shipping information. This location failed to deliver my package and instead of being accountable they placed the blame on a “system error “. I called and was placed on hold for 35 minutes before hanging up. Horrible service and horrible communication

I wish that there is another way to receive my mail besides these people. I had a very important/expensive almost priceless package that was sent to me and as I was checking the tracking for it I saw "delivered Monday, June 04, 2012 @10:41am. Well my sister and brother were at the house in the living room at this time so there was no way that they wouldn't have heard the truck outside or even a knock at the door. I have been calling and calling and all they can say is that it has been delivered. My carrier told them straight out that he was not in my area at that time. So now they are saying that there was someone else that delivered it and they dropped it off at the door and someone probably came behind him and took it. "Unfortunately, this happens in your area" Now this is a big package, why would the carrier not knock on the door to let someone know that there was a package there? Especially i it's known that this is what happens in my area. Now I'm scared to even order my credit cards or anything else. This place needs to be shut down and condemned.

So far my experience has been lies and waisted time. Ordered through Amazon and the package said delivered in hand on Sunday so I call Amazon to see what happened and they put me contact with the appropriate post office (the one this review is about). The post office clerk I spoke to was nice and friendly but when I asked where was the package, she said it was at the location and set to be delivered to he next day for redelivery so I asked if I could pick it up which she said yes to. After driving 14 mins to get there, I arrive and there is only one worker working the desk (durring holiday season) and nothing to direct anyone where to go. You just wait in line till you're informed where to go and you learn that you were waiting in that line for nothing. Upon speaking to package pickup I was informed that the driver had just dropped the package off in the mail as I was talking to package pick up. This office lacks in traceability, accountability, and coordination.

I have to agree with the users who have stated that this post office is the worst I have ever experienced and those delivered mail need to be retrained or just let go. Mis deliveries, lost packages, no key on mail boxes (in order to get packages) are a common part of my life unfortunately. I have the post office number on speed dial because something is bound to happen. Lately, they have gotten better and started coming to my door..so for two weeks, I actually got ALL of my many packages...however today, three of them have disappeared. I just hope the gov. pays more attention to this particular post office. I have a feeling that the one in Pearland (who's reviews dont seem to be any better) may get some of the reviews from this post office because they are so close. Either that or our entire area is horrible! Wish I could move to another office. I would not be surprised if my lost packages are found in someones house one day...terrible!

This location needs an overhaul when it comes to its delivery service. I constantly keep receiving wrong mail daily even after I write resident no longer lives here on the letters. When it comes to larger packages the boxes in my neighborhood Box 1. Has a broken key in it for one year which I called several times however it's still not fixed. Box 2 has a bent key which it takes over 15-20 mins to manipulate the lock in order to get it open. I have also called the office on this box and still it hasn't been fixed. I tried to call the USPS's toll free number but after waiting on the phone for 38 mins I gave up. Come now someone has to be held accountable. Hopefully when I move to Missouri City service is better over there. After reading all of the negative comments concerning this office it's obvious no one cares or have address this issues.

Well firstly let me say I understand that the usps is a federal entity. It’s obvious the customer service standards are lacking. It’s plain to see. I’ve been contacting USPS repeatedly over a broken latch on a cluster box. My collective call and contact time was likely over 24 man hours at least. Between multiple calls, emails and hold times. After a month I was finally told I would have to pay for a replacement. When I asked if I could simply have the postal carrier contact me so I could correct the loose latch my self I was told that due to COVID that there was no way to have the carrier contact me. When I asked if I could use fixative or adhesive to prevent the bolt and latch from vibrating loose I was told that would be tampering with government property. There’s no winning or easy solutions. Just red tape and hastle.

United States Postal Service (USPS) is an inevitable destination for all US citizens. It is so well connected to the rest of the nation and charges are reasonable. Professionally trained employees are here to cater to your needs. All stationaries related to packing are available at the Post Office including adhesive tapes, cutters, pens, stickers etc. some of them are complimentary. You can send any material including liquids, and I have couriered some pickles which I brought from India to one of my friends in Chicago. The weight is around 2 kgs, costing me around eighteen dollars, and it will be delivered in three days flat. You feel at home when you enter the USPS centre. Mr.Dobbs deserves a pat on the back for excellent customer care service Thanks for the good governance.

This post office reports attempted delivery saying “no access” and the managers lie for the carriers when they just don’t feel like delivering your mail. I haven’t received mail in a week. They also falsely report that your package has been delivered. I currently have a package with live plants that was shipped overnight just to end up sitting at the post office for several days and then be “delivered”. Where was it delivered? No idea. I don’t have it. Don’t request a pickup.... they’ll lie and say they picked it up but won’t actually pick it up. There is one good carrier at this office. Ms. Patterson? I think she’s doing every other carrier’s job. When she goes on vacation, nobody gets their mail.

I'm not sure what goes on at the post office. I can't tell anyone how to do their job. I know the carriers and other postal workers "may" try their best. Something needs to change. I have not received ALL OF MY MAIL for over a month. Service requests have been put into place and noone has contacted me for that matter. When you call the office noone has any idea whats going on. The carrier doesn't know, the supervisor wants you to speak to the carrier. Its circles. Its not entirely hard to delivery mail to the correct addresses. When you call the 800 number nothing happens. This is messing with the lively hoods of people who depend on mail service. Please step it up PEOPLE!!!!

I have been using this post office for years personally. Personal mailings have been few and far between however once I started my business, I use them weekly. Consistently service has been wonderful. No, they may not do alot of small talk or give big smiles but every Postal worker has been professional, helpful and patience through my learning curves. They have made suggestions to help me make better decisions for my customers and today, Ms. Karen went above and beyond to help me ship my package and covered my mistake. This post office sucks so bad. They never answer the phones and when u call the main service line they already know that that place doesn't answer there phones. We told the mailman that the lock box that has a key broken in the lock but he still keeps putting ur package in there. This humble it was very important paperwork that I had to send the next day instead it's going to be late. Because the person sent it overnight cuz they needed it as soon as possible. So I need to overnight it but now it's going to be late because of this. So it's upsetting that we keep telling the mailman n the main line post office but they won't do anything to fix the problem.

The absolute worst. The mail carriers for Brunswick Lakes should be under investigation for theft. There is no way so many people on Next Door have missing packages from USPS. If they aren't stealing, someone at the post office certainly is. Countless packages say delivered and never show up in my box. Ive had several Nike boxes arrive to me opened as if someone looked to see what was in them. Luckily for me they were toddler shoes so no use to a grown man/woman. Im sure some items end up in the wrong box but you cant trust people to give your stuff back. Sad you can't trust anyone or anything these days. That location really needs to be investigated.

this post office is the worst... it's been almos a month since i requested for a new key and still not gotten and when i call to check on it they are so unproffetional...rude acting like if i were begging for a free service i paid $15 for my key and i was told it was going to take 15 days and it's been almost a month... this is hurrible.... meanwhile i don't know where my mail is i'm so upset.... then on top of that they told me my key was going to be ready today and when i called the lady say oh no we would never tell you it will be ready after a holliday..i say yes thats what i was told..seh say no.... she say call tomorrow and check.

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL POST OFFICE. I wish i could give zero stars. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE place. I tried to send a small package from San Antonio, Texas to Houston. Only about 3 hours away. Tracking said it was delivered a couple days after... But it never was... After looking into it I see that there are so many reviews telling a similar story. This place needs some serious help, This is so frustrating and i am going to switch to UPS or Fed Ex because this is unacceptable and stupid. How hard is it to get mail from one city, to another 3 hours away?? AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS, IF YOU EVER WANT TO HAVE MAIL DELIVERED!!!!

Package was scanned at 2:10pm saying no access to delivery area. I live inside a subdivision and my mailbox is 20 steps away from my house. I have been on my driveway cleaning around since 1:45pm it is 2:54pm and not a single delivery truck came by. How is it possible that they can't deliver it, when they never showed up in the first place? Update 11-24-18 Post man did not even lock our mailbox. He just threw the mail inside and left it unlocked. Caught someone trying to get my mail and packages from my mailbox. This is really unacceptable, very poor work habits, lazy delivery drivers, and very sorry service.

Poor customer service! Employees are LAZY & NOT HELPFUL. You can be patient & kind & they still won’t try & help you out. Was told they couldn’t find my package & to give it a day. When it’s been there since a day before. I wasn’t informed either that my package was going to be held at this location when it was specifically supposed to be DELIVERED to my address. Apparently if drivers choose not to deal w packages because they don’t feel like it, they’ll send it back to post office. All they do is give you the runaround. AVOID dealing with this location!

So far things have been ok for me, Some packages does say delivered and don’t show up until the next day, But I get all my mail, I also go in to Deliver packages to my Customers and I’m usually in and out, or just place it on the Package Counter and leave, I have heard them being rude to one man who couldn’t speak or understand English too good and they had no patience for him, It is always one lady at the counter working every time I go in but so far no issues! I try to go in early and leave so I don’t have to experience what others have!

Unfortunately, the entire location gets blamed because of a few bad apples. There was one who walked out from the back, and I assume she was in charge because she started barking out orders to the customers. I guess she thought beginning each sentence with 'ma'am ' or 'sir' made it better, it did not. In my opinion, she was quite rude, but the women actually doing the work were pleasant and very helpful. If I could just get them to answer a little quicker at the package pickup window, overall, I would be pretty satisfied with the service.

This is the absolute worse post office ever! I know first hand how hard postal workers work to serve customers but these people are rude, abrasive, unhelpful and downright disrespectful! I will be reporting the entire station because I have never had to deal with such incompetence and disrespect from people who get paid to do these services. They sit in the post office with the doors closed and refuse to answer as if you'll go away and then when you call and knock they answer you "WHAT" "WHAT DO YOU WANT" RUDE! DISRESPECTFUL! IGNORANT!!!

Such a sad situation. The lady at the front desk was nice, polite and fast… I went there for something that needs an additional step.. I was directed to next step and was told somebody would be there to help.. 25 mins and several beeps later we are still waiting for this magical door to open. We have a big line forming and nobody knows what to do… This would be a prime example why usps need to be privatized and run by a private entity. This is the worst post office in the U.S I've never met some many thieves and lairs in my life. They claimed to "attempt to deliver " my package and never delivered it. Then they turn around and say it was scanned wrong. Ms. Wood who is the supervisor should be fired she's very unprofessional and so should everyone else. Its sad when multiple customers complain about their packages being " attempted to deliver" this post office should just be shut down. Its sad when the own mail people steal. They have rude customer service. Not always happy to deal with people. They have some people who are okay but majority are rude. If you call don't bother they ignore the phone and let it ring for hours not caring and they are not busy at all. Once you give them a snap back since they did it to you, they look at you like you are wrong and they are correct. This post office needs better customer service and they also always misplace my packages. This post office needs alot of new workers or they need to discipline them harder.

I’ve had issues with getting my packages. 1st incident it showed as delivered and after I called to inquire about my package it showed up about 2 days later. 2nd incident my name was forged on the delivery receipt. I had to go to the office and show my home camera footage showing no one came to my home and the signature didn’t match mine. My package mysteriously was brought to my home that same night. 3rd times a charm... my package is missing somehow my zip code was changed per the vendor by the post office. Terrible!!

This post office is extremely terrible with the delivery of packages. For two weeks straight my packages have not been delivered. The supervisor has told me that there is nothing that they can do about it and I need to file and insurance claim. But why when the tracking stated that the package was delivered, but yet hasn't. Someone needs to do something about this. They are horrible and need to hire new carriers that are more responsible. Or investigate to see if in fact those carriers are stealing.

USPS is a joke! I put my mail on hold online for a month. Went in to pick up my mail and they claim they couldn't find my mail. Only gave me 4 pieces of mail. I know for a fact I have more mail in a month time span because I subscribe to informed mail, I get emails daily informing me about what mail I was supposed to receive. I was told to call. I called 2 days later to give them time to get their stuff together only to be left on hold for over an hour. I just want my mail. This should be a crime!

They’ve lied about delivering my packages never received them and the excuse they gave was “animal interference” which is funny cause we don’t have any pets. Mail courier came to my residence for the FIRST time yet marks FINAL ATTEMPT on my slip. Arrived at this HORRIBLE establishment the next day at 735am to pick up package. Standing outside ringing a doorbell that WAS NOT plugged in until the custodian lady came out with trash and plugged it in. Rang the bell an additional 2 times before someone came at 756am to help. It has always been a horrible experience here. This place needs new management and a serious audit and true investigation.

The Laziest Set of Postal Worker Ever I was supposed to have a packaged delivered 3 days ago and its beginning to piss me off first it was No secure area to leave the package and they so called left a notice and there was no notice left and I rescheduled a delivery and left a message for them to leave it on the porch and today they lied and said I requested for the package to be held for me to pick it up. Went there today to retrieve a new mailbox key. I was in and out in 14 minutes even after waiting in the wrong line initially. The first clerk I spoke to was very polite in telling me that I had to go to the small window at the white door. The gentleman there politely helped me and handed me the keys. I'm giving a four star only because I was not notified that our mailbox cluster in the neighborhood would be replaced. Not sure if this lies on this specific PO or the main PO.

Absolutely the worse post office encounters. Staff are incredibly rude. Mail is lost. Literally mysteriously vanished. Mail is received opened or with holes, which is a federal offense. It is not a wonder why the USPS system is financially struggling. Citizens have no faith that their mail will be handled correctly or even received and seek services elsewhere at UPS. Another inefficient US system. Do not trust this office location. Long wait times and greeted with hostility.

This has to be the worst US Post office I have ever dealt with. I am not sure how they operate compare to other post office but they have delivered to the wrong address, input in the wrong address on the label and customer service is nonexistent. The phone number listed for this facility does not work and I can't even call to fix the address issue. C'mon, you are a postal office, having the correct address and deliver it to the right mail boxes is your top priority!

If you're expecting something important, please don't hold your breath. The postal service is lower than substandard. I receive emails daily telling me what is going to be delivered to my mailbox....only to "not" receive it. I have ask NOT to receive mail if it has a different last name from my own. My request continues to be ignored. These people are AWFUL and they don't take pride in their jobs and the service they are supposed to provide.

If I could leave NO STARS, that would be best. They don't even answer the phone; they pick it up and put it on hold without telling you. You remain on hold for a very long time, and then when they do answer, they say two words and hang up. I have called 4 times today to locate a package that they say is undeliverable. It has been two weeks. The package was correctly addressed, as I double checked with the post office I sent it from.

Missing package, at least four days overdue. I called to check on it on Monday, 7/28 at 2:10pm, and the woman working there responded by stating "If you didn't get it, we didn't receive it." I asked if she could check to see if the package was there, and she put me on hold indefinitely (over 20 minutes). I've been here a few times for other things and everything's gone well. New keys for the house, etc.

Bad service both from office and delivery. Had gotten a notice from the postal office to go pick up a package because I was not at home to sign, but in truth I have a broken doorbell and the delivery driver just didn’t knock the door. Had to wait outside the pick up door for about half an hour, knocking the door every 2-5 mins until someone finally opened to grab my package claim receipt.

Should have zero stars. Ordered a bunch of stuff online just for it not to get to my mailbox, but saying it was “delivered”. Thank God for nice people still. It was put in the WRONG MAILBOX (the neighbors), and lucky for me they returned it. Would HIGHLY suggest have your mail diverted elsewhere if it is important things. Seems like an ongoing problem that they will not change. Sad.

Female mail carrier has a terrible attitude and did not deliver the mail to the correct area (just a few steps away) even though signs are posted and she was informed of the correct pick up and delivery area. She insisted that's where she always leaves it (she was not the usual delivery person) and proceeded to leave without collecting the outbound mail. Horrible customer service!

Well I got some of my neighbors mail at 5809 Mackinaw, my box was empty checking with my neighbor’s mail he got 5709 Mackinaw over a block away. The carriers need to be trained on a Neighborhood and given a block map the address is plainly visible on the side of my house. This has been going on for several years customers services suck at the 77045,77054 in Mayfairpark.

If I could give none I would. Terrible service. Stood in line for 20 minutes to receive hold mail. Rung the bell 3 times before someone came to the dam door. Then they want to have an attitude when they assist you. Dont like your job...quit. Do not inconvenience others because of it. I was too mad. 11/4/2017. Just throw the whole staff away and get another crew.

Unbelievable service. 2 hrs in line and only one cashier. The manager is seen walking in and out but does not help customers. She is seen joking around with the cashier and other staff in the back. No care for the incredibly long line with kids and babies crying for hours. I feel bad for the families that have no choice. This is obviously a scam or worse.

This is the worSt post office ever. The never have your packages and they lie and your update says it’s delivered but that’s not the case. Absolutely horrible service. After "attempting" to deliver packages from Amazon over the past year and a half, they have continually told me that they attempted delivery but never actually did. Sometimes packages never come at all, sometimes they end up coming very late. When calling them directly to deal with issues they have been rude.

You know that 2 day shipping you paid for? Doesn’t matter when they “can’t gain access to your facility”. We have mail boxes and walk up houses and my wife stays home so someone is almost always there. There’s absolutely no way they “didn’t have access”. Terrible service as expected from the government.

Give or take type of place. Long lines are expected with moderately to severe waiting time. Depending on who you are attended by will really determine your experience. Once the lady I spoke too was rude and curt. Another time the lady who helped me was really nice and friendly. Funny as well.

They're too lazy to actually deliver your mail to your door, instead you get the "we tried to deliver" slip at the mailboxes. When you go to complain you're told all the supervisors are busy but will give you a call. The call never comes. You never see your package either. Criminals!!!!

Nothing but problems from this post office. Mail delivered late if they even delivere it to the right address. They throw your packages at your door to save a few steps and then when you file a complaint you're told to bribe your mail currier to prevent all of this from happening.

I have never been to a place so disrespectful. Their employees are just so disrespectful and unprofessional. I came trying to find my package but they are so bitter. They are not very helpful. I tried to explain what was happening but all they do is cut you off mid sentence.

Extremely disrespectful and condescending to customers. I requested my mail to be on hold although continuing to receive mail to my home. There’s a communication breakdown at that particular location along with incompetent employees. The behavior there is unexceptionable!

Wish I could give this place no stars cause they definitely don’t t even deserve that one star! for the life of me I can’t figure out how in the world is this place supposed to with the utmost respect and dignity represent the United States government as a post office???

The worst service ever, I walk in the young lady with a head band is on her phone talking to someone about her personal life, how can you give good service to a customer when not paying attention. Your working mam. Completely rude. How does upper management allow that

The person I spoke with was very rude. He seemed to not want to help at all. When I asked his name, he said "Flood" like the water. Very unprofessional and rude! Then I was transferred to another station where the lady that answered left me on hold for over 15 mins!

This place is one of the slowest places I have ever been to. When it comes to retrieving packages from the Caller Door, I think they like to look and see how long the line can get before they handle customers. In my best Charles Barkley, this place is terrriible!

This post office is horrible, now the level of horribleness depends on who's working that day. Rude and unprofessional. They could care less about you getting your mail or finding lost mail/packages. smh its said that they are allowed to service people this way.

They have a sine showing pickup at 7:30 am on Saturday's but they don't answer the window until some tim after 8:30 am instead they just run around in back with their kids and have a party at your expense, and they laugh every time you push the bell for service.

Totally useless station. Sign on door says Saturday pick-up available 7:30-11am yet door is closed and no one answers the bell ring. Had to stop by because mailman did not ring my doorbell for package that requires a signature. Disappointment all around.

Every Sunday this office scans packages as delivered then just delivers them on Monday. This has happened every time I had a delivery scheduled on a Sunday. I guess they don’t want to make amazon mad they are missing there deliveries, so they just lie.

I thought everyone here was very helpful, friendly, and efficient. I was very grateful for the service, because I looked all over for some prepaid forever stamped envelopes, and they had them, and we're very nice when I showed up to pick them up.

Service is always horrible here. No matter what package I have to receive through them never gets delivered. I always have to go pick up which tends to be a problem especially since my work hours do not coincide with theirs.. a joke of a place.

It sucks. I went to pick up a package they claimed they tried to deliver but that was bogus since I was home waiting for it,at the post office,I stood in line before they announced I was in the wrong line and had to wait in another line.

Needs an audit of the staff. I have never seen professional staff at this location. Your packages never make it to your correct address and there is no accountability held, so that's let's you know there is theft going on there also.

This is the worst Post Office ever. The mail carrier steals your packages and does not deliver your mail especially if it is a box or package that is suppose to be delivered. The customer service rep and management team is rude.

I have had many problems with this Post Office. I bought 2 old car radios within several months apart, but they were lost at this very location. The people said they just don't know where the package is.

I have not had any trouble with this post office. They have helped my family and U for about 6 years. When we moved we did not have a mailbox yet, we had to wait for the community mailbox to be built.
